GEOPOL®. The innovated environment friendly inorganic binder system

This paper deals with the complete technology of inorganic geopolymer binder system GEOPOL® which is a result of long term research and development. The objective of this paper is to provide a theoretical and practical overview of the GEOPOL® binder system and introduce possible ways of moulds and cores production in foundries. GEOPOL® is a unique inorganic binder system, which is needed and welcomed in terms of the environment, the work environment, and the sustainable resources. The GEOPOL® technology is currently used in the foundries for three basic production processes/technologies: (1) for self-hardening moulding mixtures, (2) sand mixtures hardened by gaseous carbon dioxide and (3) the hot box technology with hot air hardening. The GEOPOL® technology not only solves the binder system and the ways of hardening, but also deals with the entire foundry production process. Low emissions produced during mixing of sand, moulding, handling, and pouring bring a relatively significant improvement of work conditions in foundries (no VOCs). A high percentage of the reclaim sand can be used again for the preparation of the moulding mixture.Web of Science19111610

Comparison of approaches and capabilities for strength calculations of pressure vessels in Ansys Workbench software and SolidWorks Simulation by using FEM

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na porovnání možností pevnostních výpočtu v programech ANSYS Workbench a SolidWorks Simulation. První část práce seznamuje s metodami návrhu tlakových nádob a jeho legislativou. V další části jsou podány základní informace o daných programech, ve kterých je následně provedena simulace pevnostního výpočtu tlakové nádoby. V poslední části jsou výsledky porovnány s normou ČSN EN 13 445.The bachelor thesis deals with comparison of approaches for strength calculation of pressure vessels in ANSYS Workbench and SolidWorks Simulation. First chapter introduces methods for design of pressure vessels and its legislation. The following chapter gives basic information about both compared software witch were used for following analysis of pressure vessel. Results were compared according to ČSN EN 13 445 in the last chapter.

Autonomous power supply with higher EMC requirements

Tato práce se zabývá návrhem mechanické části, elektrické části a otestováním autonomního napájecího zdroje. Skládá se z výběru materiálů, návrhu tvarů a výpočtů průchodek pro obal zařízení pro zajištění potřebných elektromagnetických vlastností. Dále obsahuje volbu elektronických součástí, porovnání DC-DC měničů a konstrukci filtrů se zaměřením na co nejvyšší elektromagnetickou odolnost a co nejnižší elektromagnetické emise.This paper deals with design of mechanical and electrical components of autonomous power supply and its testing. It consists of selecting of the materials, draft of shapes and calculations of feed-throughs for the source container to ensure the required electromagnetic characteristics. It also includes the selection of electronic components, comparison of DC-DC converters and filter design with focus on the highest electromagnetic immunity and the lowest electromagnetic emissions.

Preparing Ethical Code for XZY Company

Diplomová práce analyzuje problémy, které se vyskytují v souvislosti s etickými aspekty podnikání v konkrétní společnosti. Jejím základem je vyhodnocení analýzy etického a sociálního prostředí ve společnosti. Na základě výsledků této analýzy je navrhnuto další doporučení pro společnost a znění etického kodexu společnosti, jehož vytvoření bylo hlavní náplní diplomové práce.This master’s thesis analysis problems, which are related to ethical aspects of doing business in particular company. Controlled source of pulsed electric field

Cílem diplomové práce je návrh výkonového zdroje určeného pro generování pulsního elektrického pole pro potřeby technologického procesu elektroporace ovocných moštů a rmutů. Na základě požadovaných impulsů dále navrhnout síť přepínaných kapacitorů a induktorů. Navrhnout a realizovat základní řídicí jednotku spolu se spínacími tranzistory. Práce bude obsahovat výpočty a simulace využité při samotném návrhu doplněné o konstrukční řešení a naměřené hodnoty. Tato diplomová práce je rozdělena do několika základních částí. V první části jsou detailně rozebrány teoretické poznatky o procesu elektroporace, podle kterých jsou pak vybrány požadované vlastnosti generovaných pulsů. V druhé části jsou dopodrobna popsány jednotlivé části elektroporačního pracoviště, od zdroje přes kontrolní systém až po elektrodovou komoru. U každé z těchto částí jsou uvedeny různé, možné varianty řešení. V další části je již přistoupeno k samotnému návrhu zdroje. Jsou zde vypsány jednotlivé, požadované parametry pulsů a podle nich jsou postupně prováděny výpočty a návrh. Další část se zabývá simulacemi, které slouží pro ověření vypočtených hodnot a poměrů v elektroporovaném vzorku. Předposlední část se zabývá samotnou mechanickou konstrukcí pracoviště. Jsou zde popsány dílčí problémy konstrukce a oživování výrobku. Poslední část je věnována měření na samotném pracovišti a rozboru naměřených výsledků.The aim of this master thesis is to design a power source for generating pulsed electric field for the needs of the technological process of electroporation of fruit musts and mashes. To design further the network of switched capacitors and inductors based on the required pulse and to design and implement the basic control unit together with the switching transistors. The thesis will include calculations and simulations used in the draft, also design solutions and measured values. This thesis is divided into several basic parts. In the first part there is discussed in detail the theoretical knowledge of electroporation and the desired characteristics of generated pulses are chosen according to this knowledge. Each part of electroporation workplace is described in the second part of this thesis, beginning from the source through the control system to the electrode chamber. For each of these parts are given different possible alternatives. In the next chapter is already proceeded to the design of the source. There are listed required parameters of the pulses and according to them calculations and the design are gradually carried out. Another chapter deals with the simulations, which are used to verify the calculated values and conditions in the electroporated sample. Last but one part discusses the mechanical design of the workplace. There are described all problems of the construction and commissioning of the product. The last section is dedicated to the workplace measurement and analysis of the measured results.

Multispectral Map Building in Mobile Robotics

Dizertační práce pojednává o využití multispektrálního optického měření pro datovou fúzi, kterou je možné využít pro vizuální teleprezenci a mapování uvnitř budov i ve vnějším prostředí v systému složeném z heterogenních mobilních robotů. Pro fúzi jsou použity dálkoměrné optické snímače, termovizní kamery a barevné kamery. Popsané algoritmy jsou optimalizovány pro práci v reálném čase a implementovány na robotický systém CASSANDRA vytvořený naší robotickou skupinou.The dissertation deals with utilisation of multispectral optical measurement for data fusion that may be used for visual telepresence and indoor/outdoor mapping by heterogeneous mobile robotic system. Optical proximity sensors, thermal imagers, and tricolour cameras are used for the fusion. The described algorithms are optimised to work in real-time and implemented on CASSANDRA robotic system made by our robotic research group.

Hydraulics forceps for heavy manipulators: compare of design welding or casting constrution

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o kovářských manipulátorech a jejich použití při volném kování. Charakterizuje princip funkčnosti a složení těchto strojů, které slouží jako zvláštní příslušenství tvářecích strojů. Je zde popsána technologičnost konstrukce ohledně svařovaných a odlévaných konstrukcí. Následně je proveden návrh svařované a odlévané konstrukce kleští pro vybranou nosnost a je proveden základní návrhový výpočet. Poté jsou tyto konstrukce vyhodnoceny z pohledu technicko-ekonomického hlediska.This bachelor´s thesis discusses forging manipulators and their use in free forging. It describes principle of functionality and structure of these machines, which serves as a special accessory for forming machines. It describes the construction technology of casting and welding structures. It executes proposal of casting and welding construction pincers for selected load capacity and the basic design calculations are made according to this proposal. Then, these structures are evaluated in technical and economical view.
