    The affirmative action policy through the provision of a 30 % quota of parliamentary seats has been passed three times in legislative elections2004, 2009, and 2014. Yet, the desired representation still cannot be achieved and even the figure of 20% has not been able to accomplish. Whereas, women representation in the parliamentary is something that very basic in order to meet womens political rights in the state. Men and women should have the equal opportunity to participate and to have control in running the government. However, there are still few women who plunge into politics. In addition to the dominant role of the party elite and inadequate recruitment system of the legislative candidates, political education is also still very minimal and a strong kinship system have made politics to be the last choice for women. Thus, womens lack of interest and desire to get involved in politics results in lack of womens representation quota in parliament

    Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a very important economic role in many countries, including in Indonesia. Many parties acknowledge that MSMEs has shown its toughness in every crisis. Consumer behavior is very open in VUCA era, along with advances in information technology and communication achieved by modern humans. MSMEs entrepreneurs must change and adapt quickly to such changes. The disruption phenomenon as a change that brings the future into present demand makes MSMEs entrepreneurs must change their mindset and behavior. This can happen through personal character change in focus of control and motivation to drives a high level of learning to increase business performance in global competition. This research aim is to examine the effect of locus of control and motivation on learning and the impact on MSMEs performance. It uses Purposive Sampling, data is done by questionnaire to 100 samples which then processed and analyzed. There are two stages for technical data analysis, i.e. Path Analysis and Regression Moderation Analysis (RMA). The research findings indicate the effect of locus of control and motivation on learning; the effect of locus of control and motivation on business performance; as well as the effect of locus of control and motivation on business performance with learning as moderation. The consumer behavior changesin disruption era demand the changes in personal character of MSMEs entrepreneurs through the focus of control and motivation and relentless learning.     Pengaruh Komunikasi Kerja dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT Nusantara Surya Sakti Banjarmasin di Masa Pandemi

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of work communication and the work environment on the performance of employees of PT Nusantara Surya Sakti Banjarmasin which was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic. The influence test between variables is carried out simultaneously or partially. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with data collection methods through questionnaires. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that work communication and work environment have a simultaneous or partial effect on employee performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Work communication and work environment simultaneously affect the performance of Nusanrata Surya Sakti Banjarmasin employees by 59.5%. While the partial effect of work communication on employee performance has an effect of 36.3% and the effect of the work environment on employee performance is 24.2%

    This study aims to analyze the level of employee engagement and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in CV Panca Bina Banua, located in the Sungai Loban district of Tanah Bumbu regency. Data was collected using a questionnaire administered to 32 randomly selected employees from the company's workforce. The results of the analysis indicate that the level of employee engagement in CV Panca Bina Banua falls into the moderate category, while the level of OCB is high. Furthermore, there is a significant relationship between employee engagement and OCB. The findings of this study are expected to provide insights to the management of the company on how to enhance employee engagement and OCB, which in turn can improve the overall performance of the company

The Performance is influenced by organizational commitment, work discipline, and  employee morale. To analyzing the influence  commitment, work discipline, and  employee morale to the performance need the research. This research uses quantitative method. The population is all members of this research 74 employee. The population are consist of 74 respondens. Technique of sampling is used census. This research sample  74 employee. The data collection technique is questioner. Data is analyzed by linier regression analysis The results of this research shows that commitment, work discipline, and  employee morale have influence significantly to the performance partially and together. So commitment, work discipline, and  employee morale are need to improve because these variables have influence significantly to the performance.Bank Kalsel Cabang Utama Banjarmasin selalu meningkatkan pelayanan kepada nasabah. Peningkatan tersebut membutuhkan kinerja karyawan yang tinggi. Kinerja tersebut dipengaruhi oleh komitmen organisasi, disiplin kerja, dan semangat kerja karyawan. Untuk menganalisis pengaruh komitmen, disiplin kerja, dan semangat kerja karyawan terhadap kinerja perlu dilakukan penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi adalah seluruh anggota penelitian ini 74 karyawan. Populasi sebanyak 74 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sensus. Sampel penelitian ini 74 karyawan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komitmen, disiplin kerja, dan semangat kerja karyawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja secara parsial dan bersama-sama. Sehingga komitmen, disiplin kerja, dan semangat kerja karyawan perlu ditingkatkan karena variabel-variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja

    Examining Teacher Job Satisfaction Levels During a Pandemic: The Role of Transformational Leadership, Work-Life Balance and Interpersonal Communication

    Abstract: Objectives: The main objective of this study is to determine the contribution of transformational leadership, work-life balance, and interpersonal communication in encouraging teacher job satisfaction. Methods: The sample in this study amounted to 110 respondents. Data analysis using the SPSS application by displaying the results of data processing through research instrument testing with validity and reliability tests, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. Findings: Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that transformational leadership and interpersonal communication contributes positively and significantly to job satisfaction. The results of subsequent studies confirmed that work-life balance contributed positively but not significantly to job satisfaction. Conclusions: The role of transformational leadership supported by interpersonal communication and good work life balance is needed by teachers to carry out activities, especially during the current pandemic.Keywords: transformational leadership, work-life balance, interpersonal communications, teacher job satisfaction.Abstrak: Tujuan: Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontribusi dari kepemimpinan transformasional, work life balance dan komunikasi interpersonal dalam mendorong kepuasan kerja guru. Metode: Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 110 responden. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS dengan menampilkan hasil pengolahan data melalui uji instrumen penelitian dengan uji validitas dan reabilitas, analisis regresi berganda, koefisien determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Temuan: Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan yang menyatakan transformational leadership dan interpersonal communication berkontribusi positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian selanjutnya mengkonfirmasi work life balance berkontribusi positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kesimpulan: peran kepemimpinan transformasional yang didukung dengan komunikasi interpersonal dan work life balance yang baik sangatlah dibutuhkan oleh para guru untuk menjalankan aktivitas khususnya di masa pandemi saat ini.Kata kunci: kepemimpinan transformasional, work life balance, komunikasi interpersonal, kepuasan kerja guru.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i2.20220

    The effect of customer’s orientation of service employee on customer’s satisfaction of health services

    Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of customer's orientation of service employee (COSE) on customer satisfaction as well as its impact on the customer loyalty in C type of private hospitals in Surakarta, Central Java. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study uses three variables, namely customer's orientation of service employee (COSE), customer's satisfaction, and customer loyalty. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as research method, and data analysis technique using AMOS 23.0. Findings: The result of the study shows that COSE had influenced the customer's satisfaction and the customer's loyalty. In conclusion, the customer's satisfaction is an intervening variable that can mediate the effect of variable COSE on the customer's loyalty. Practical Implications: COSE is something important to affect the performance of the resulting service which will provide customer's satisfaction that will affect customer's loyalty and improve the higher sustainable interaction between service providers (hospital) and patients. Originality/Value: This is part of a research on the effect of COSE on customer's satisfaction on health services, especially for private hospitals in Indonesia.peer-reviewe

    MANAJEMEN PELAYANAN PUBLIK APARATUR TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KEPUASAN MASYARAKAT

    ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the management of public services that have been carried out by the Banjarmasin City Government through a survey method conducted at 125 SKPD/Badan/Unit Pelayanan consisting of 34 SKPD/Badan/Unit pelayan/Perusahaan Daerah (regional companies) with a population. the city of Banjarmasin is 700,689. Through the Krejcie and Morgan Formulation, the final sample size was 781 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there are 17 SKPDs / service units up from the SKM B category to A. There are 16 SKPD/Badan/Unit Pelayanan up from the SKM C category to B. There are 67 SKPD/Badan/Unit Pelayanan down from the SKM A category to B. There are 53 SKPD/Badan/Unit Pelayanan decreased from SKM A category to C. There were 9 SKPD /service units down from SKM B category to C. There were 39 SKPD/Badan/Unit Pelayanan that did not experience a change in quality in the SKM A category, and 16 SKPD/Badan/Unit Pelayanan did not experience a change in quality in the SKM B category. There is 1 service unit that is new in 2019 by SKM, namely PD PAL. Overall, the service quality in the Very Good (A) category decreased 0.22% so that the average SKM value in 2019 was 83.16 with B (Good) quality. Keyword: survey, community satisfaction, public servic

    Testing the Relationship between Employee Engagement and Employee Performance: The Urgency of Self Efficacy and Organizational Justice as Predictors

    The urgency of employee engagement in creating a new employee spirit aims to create a strong relationship with each employee. This relationship will also make employees focus on the achievement they want to achieve, build solid teamwork, and don’t forget to express gratitude and appreciation for achievements between divisions. Employees will always think positively in doing their jobs and provide great ideas for team development and long-term company goals. This study aims to determine the relationship between employee engagement and employee performance with self-efficacy and organizational justice as predictors.The sample used in this study were workers belonging to the Millennial generation with 190 respondents using a purposive sampling approach to determine the sample. Data collection uses a questionnaire instrument which is then distributed online through social media. A structural equation modeling (SEM) approach using partial least squares (PLS) is used to test elationship between employee engagement and employee performance with self-efficacy and organizational justice as predictors. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is concluded that self-efficacy and organizational justice have a significant effect on employee engagement. Then, the next hypothesis test explains that self-efficacy, organizational justice, and employee engagement significantly affect employee performance.
