    PROSES PEMBUATAN POROS TRANSMISI PADA MESIN PENGUPAS KULIT ARI KEDELAI

    Poros transmisi merupakan salah satu komponen pendukung mesin pengupas kulit ari kedelai. Tujuan dari laporan Proyek Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan dan peralatahan yang digunakaan pada pembuatan poros transmisi. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui total waktu dan biaya yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pembuatannya Metode yang digunakan dalam proses pembuatan mesin pengupas kulit ari kedelai diawali dengan identifikasi gambar kerja, identifikasi bahan, identifikasi alat yang digunakan, pemotongan bahan, pembubutan, pengefraisan, dan perakitan. Bahan untuk membuat poros transmisi adalah baja ST 60 ukuran Ø25,4 x 300 mm. Peralatan yang digunakan untuk proses pembuatan poros transmisi meliputi mesin gergaji, mesin bubut, mesin frais, pahat HSS, end mill, jangka sorong, mistar baja, high gauge, bor senter, dan peralatan keselamatan kerja. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian mesin pengupas kulit ari kedelai yang telah dilakukan, poros transmisi yang dibuat dengan ukuran Ø19,05x280 mm dapat bekerja sesuai dengan fungsinya yaitu sebagai dudukan puli dan penerus daya motor listrik ke bagian penggilas. Poros transmisi yang telah dibuat terjadi tirus pada ujungnya, putaran poros tidak rata serta tidak balance. Penyimpangan dimensi terjadi pada salah satu ujung poros sebesar 0,52%. Mesin pengupas kulit ari kedelai ini mampu mengupas dengan kapasitas volume 4 kg/menit dalam sekali proses dengan prosentase hasil kupasan 20%. Untuk memperleh hasil pengupasan yang maksimal dilakukan 5 kali proses. Biaya pembuatan poros transmisi sebesar Rp 92.400,00. Waktu keseluruhan proses pembuatan poros transmisi berdasarkan pengukuran langsung dilapangan memerlukan waktu 160 menit

    The Early-7 (E7) protein of HPV binds to the underphosphorelated form of the tumor suppressor protein – pRb and displaces the E2F transcription factor that is normally bound by pRb. The latent membrane protein-1 (LMP-1) of EBV prevents apoptosis of B cells by up regulating the expression of bcl-2, and it activates growth promoting pathway that are normally triggered by T cell – derivate signal. The aims of this study to know that in cervical cancer stay HPV and EBV. DNA was isolated from nineteen sample cervical cancer tissues frozen section. Diagnose related with HPV and EBV was made by Polymerase Chains Reaction (PCR). The result of this experiment showed that from 19 samples diagnosed as cervical cancer, 17 samples are positive HPV and 13 samples had HPV and EBV positive. The conclusion of this experiment is 89% of cervical cancers are infected with HPV and 68% also infected with HPV and EBV

    Basic track problems in most of the villages in Wonosobo Regency Government are the recruitment and selection practices of other villages have not been able to encourage the inception of the village with the required standards of competence. This research aims to analyze the system of recruitment and selection of other villages, supporters and restricting factors, as well as establishing a proper and contextual model in Wonosobo Regency over the approach to the management of human resources. With descriptive method, this study found that the standard of competence has not been a consideration for the Government since the beginning of the planning process, to recruitment and selection. Almost the entire selection process, starting from the determination of the criteria of candidates, selection of administration until the written exams tend not based on competence. In addition, the necessary of the village according to the preference of the villagers also has yet to be fulfilled, thus still encountered complaints from the public. The study also identifies some of the factors supporting the recruitment and selection competency-based, among others, regulation and community support. Later, inhibitor factor, among others, the quality of human resources and organizational needs analysis Committee. Based on these conditions, the model recommendations in this study encourages the process of recruitment and selection apply competency β€” based in practice, in order to be able to support organizational performance towards the village government is better. Start the process of sourcing, attracting, through screening, based on the needs the competence and analyzed scientifically. Community preference is also a consideration in that process in order to involve the public opinion and build public confidence to the results of the selection.     Pembuatan Vermikompos Menggunakan Limbah Fleshing Di Industri Penyamakan Kulit

    A research on utilization of fleshing waste at the tannery industry by vermicomposting have been conducted. The growth media consist of dung, fleshing waste, and stubbles. Ratio of dung and fleshing waste were varied at 100:0; 90:10; 80:20; 70:30; 60:40; and 50:50 respectively. All the media were fermented for three weeks and then proceeded by incubation process of earthworm for another six weeks. The changes of the volume per weight of media, the earthworm weight, C, N, and C/N ratio were observed and measured every week. The result showed that media volume per weight value were decreased in direct proportional to weight of the fleshing waste added in the media, those were 1.66; 1.64; 1.53; 1.50; 1.39; and 1.31 cm3/g, respectively. C/N ratio were below 15 for all combination of media ratio after two weeks incubation. The optimum result was achieved for compost with dung and fleshing waste ratio of 60:40

    The use of earthworm as a source of income and a means for managing organic solid waste such as fleshing waste has been widely applied. The aim of this research was to find the optimum ratio between fleshing waste and cow dung in the growing medium of Eisenia fetida sp. This research was conducted by growing the E. fetida sp. earthworm in the medium containing fleshing waste mixed with cow dung. The ratio of fleshing waste and cow dung was varied at 0:100; 10:90; 20:80; 30:70; 40:60; and 50:50. In addition, 2 parts of chopped stubbles per part of every sample was added as a carbon source. The prepared media were fermented for three weeks with EM4 as a starter, followed by incubation of the earthworm for six weeks. The weight and the number of earthworm were evaluated every two weeks. The optimum growth of earthworm was achieved at the 2nd week of incubation with 185.48% and 121.10% increase of weight and number of earthworm, respectively, at 40:60 ratio of fleshing waste and cow dung in the growing medium

    A research was performed to treat the treated tannery wastewater using mexican swordplant(Echinodorus palaefolius) in constructed wetland. It was designed by uplow system with 3m x 1 m x 1 m in dimension equal with 3 m3 in volume, whereas the media consist of 0.3 m thickfirst layer of rock in the bottom; 0.3 m thick gravel in second layer and 0.1 m third layer of Blacksugar-palm fiber and at the top was sand layer with 0.3 m in thickness. The experiment was run byCOD and BOD loading varied at 0.137; 0.137; 0.392; 0.409; 0.643; 0.648 kg/d for COD and0.049; 0.051; 0.125; 0.133; 0.464; 0.467 kg/d for BOD. Effectivity of constructed wetland wasdetermined by COD and BOD removal. Optimum effectivity of COD removal by 68.75% wasfound by operational condition of influent debit 0.576 m3/d ; detention time 2 days and 2 hours;COD loading 0.405 kg/d, whereas optimum effectivity of the BOD removal by 61.79 % was foundby operational condition at influent debit1.440 m3/d ; detention time 1 days 13 hours and 30minutes and COD loading 0.466 kg/d and reducing constant (k) = 0.008 d-1

    Pengurangan Nitrogen Pada Limbah Cair Terolah Industri Penyamakan Kulit Menggunakan Sistem Wetland Buatan

    Recently constructed wetland have been widely used in wastewater treatment because of its low energy consumption and its simple operation. A research for removing nitrogen in the treated tannery wastewater by using constructed wetland have been conducted. Two unit of constructed wetland were used. Each unit was vegetated with Equisetum hyemale and Echinodorus palaefolius respectively. Both unit were then operated with subsurface flow system by varying the residence time at 3.125; 2.083; and 1.563 days. The results showed that the optimum effectiveness of nitrogen reduction were 83.67% with a residence time of 3.125 days and 70.29% with a residence time of 2.083 days for Equisetum hyemale and Echinodorus palaefolius respectively. Nitrogen reduction rate constant of 0.275 by using the formula of the USEPA was only suitable for wetland with Equisetum hyemale with R2 of 0.880
