Utilization of biodegradable waste

Cílem této práce je shrnutí aktuální situace problematiky využívání biologicky rozložitelných odpadů. Úvodní kapitoly se zabývají popisem druhů biologicky rozložitelného odpadu. V hlavní části jsou popsány způsoby zpracování tohoto odpadu. Pro jednotlivé druhy odpadu jsou uvedeny návrhy jejich nejvhodnějšího zpracování a dalšího využití. Důraz je přitom kladen na legislativu nakládání s těmito odpady i na legislativu pro zpracovávací zařízení.The aim of this paper is to summarize the current situation of the problem using biodegradable waste. The introductory chapters deal with descriptions of different types of biodegradable waste. The main part describes ways of handling this waste. For various types of waste are listed by their most appropriate treatment and further use. Emphasis is placed on legislation dealing with that waste legislation on the processing equipment.

Transformer-based encoder-encoder architecture for Spoken Term Detection

The paper presents a method for spoken term detection based on the Transformer architecture. We propose the encoder-encoder architecture employing two BERT-like encoders with additional modifications, including convolutional and upsampling layers, attention masking, and shared parameters. The encoders project a recognized hypothesis and a searched term into a shared embedding space, where the score of the putative hit is computed using the calibrated dot product. In the experiments, we used the Wav2Vec 2.0 speech recognizer, and the proposed system outperformed a baseline method based on deep LSTMs on the English and Czech STD datasets based on USC Shoah Foundation Visual History Archive (MALACH).Comment: Submitted to ICASSP 202

The czech broadcast conversation corpus

This paper presents the final version of the Czech Broadcast Conversation Corpus that will shortly be released at the Linguistic Data Consortium (LDC). The corpus contains 72 recordings of a radio discussion program, which yields about 33 hours of transcribed conversational speech from 128 speakers. The release does not only include verbatim transcripts and speaker information, but also structural metadata (MDE) annotation that involves labeling of sentence-like unit boundaries, marking of non-content words like filled pauses and discourse markers, and annotation of speech disfluencies. The MDE annotation is based on the LDC's annotation standard for English, with changes applied to accommodate phenomena that are specific for Czech. In addition to its importance to speech recognition, speaker diarization, and structural metadata extraction research, the corpus is also useful for linguistic analysis of conversational Czech

Household fermentor design

Cílem práce je návrh fermentační jednotky speciálně uzpůsobené pro provoz v domácnostech. Jednotka zpracovává kuchyňský a zahradní biologicky rozložitelný odpad, při požadavcích na co nejnižší pořizovací i provozní náklady a náročnost obsluhy. Přínosem této jednotky je výroba bioplynu, který bude přímo v domácnosti využit, a zpracování biologicky rozložitelného odpadu na kvalitní organické hnojivo. První část je věnována popisu procesu anaerobní fermentace a shrnutí provozních podmínek, jež je nutné pro kvalitní fermentaci dodržovat. Hlavní část se zabývá potenciálem výroby bioplynu v konkrétní domácnosti, pro kterou je jednotka navrhována, dále návrhem fermentačního zařízení, návrhy na využití získaného bioplynu a finančním zhodnocením celého projektu.The aim of this thesis is to design a fermentation unit specially adjusted for household operating. Unit processes kitchen and garden biodegradable waste with requirements of low acquisition costs, operating costs and demands of service. Benefits of this unit are production of biogas, which will be utilized in household, and processed of biodegradable waste to nutritious manure. The first part of the work is aimed on description of anaerobic fermentation process and summary of operating conditions. The main part deals with potential of household and garden biodegradable waste for production of biogas and design of fermentation unit. Proposals for biogas utilization and economy of whole project are mentioned.

Vehicle with ecological drive

Cílem této práce bylo navrhnout třístopé vozidlo s ekologickým pohonem. První kapitola pojednává o historii tříkolových vozidel od počátku jejich vývoje. Druhá kapitola mapuje současnou produkci a třetí kapitola je věnována vlastnímu návrhu koncepce vozidla.This work is focused on design of three-wheeler with ecological drive. The first chapter discusses the history of three-wheelers from beginning of their development. The second chapter is a survey of present production and the third chapter is devoted to separate design of vehicle conception.

The Issue of Shunting of the Affected Phase in Compensated Medium Voltage Networks

Permanently increasing size of the capacitive currents in medium voltage networks becomes a limiting factor in their operation. This negative trend is manifested especially in the mixed networks, where the proportion of cable gradually increases in comparison with the overhead medium voltage lines. The residual currents in the one-pole insulation faults in the medium voltage system, in insulation fault site are continually increasing. Large investment funds are necessary for full elimination of the fault currents, while other known ways used in the partial elimination of the size of the fault currents have some technical limitations. Altitmeter for RC aircraft models

Předmětem mé bakalářské práce je návrh výškoměru, který využívá pro záznam letové polohy modelu RC letadla vyhodnocování aktuálního atmosferického tlaku. Údaje jsou po dobu letu ukládány do paměti, odkud je možné je po skončení záznamu přes rozhraní USB uložit v PC. Software na PC zajišťuje komunikaci se zařízením a přepočet zaznamenaného tlaku na nadmořskou výšku RC modelu.The aim of my bachelor thesis is to design an altimeter, who uses to record the attitude of the model "RC plane" evaluation of the current atmospheric pressure. The data are saved during the flight into the memory.The data can be transferred to PC after recording through the USB . The software on PC communicates with the device and ensuring the conversion of recorded pressure to altitude RC model.

Application of GIS for the Control of Major Accident Hazards

The presentedstudy discussesthe importance of GIS in assessing the fire and explosion modellinginvolved in major accident hazards. The simulation of toxic dispersions in the atmosphere is especially dangerous fordensely inhabited areas, or close to the sensitive environment,which arecalled the target systems. Therefore, mathematical-physical predictions from hazard modellingprograms such as Areal Locations of Hazardous Atmospheres (ALOHA) have to be combined with a Geographic Information System (GIS) such as ArcGIS. This multidisciplinary approach allows expertsto couple the consequences and the target systems in one representation of major accident hazards. This unique combination of the two programs allows us to calculate the consequences to human life for a real accident scenario case study. Description of methodical approach and four accident scenarios are investigated based on ALOHAs models for carbon monoxiderelease combined with ArcGIS for Liberty Ostrava a.s. as a case study
