Export strategy of ŠKODA AUTO A.S. and its positioning on Indian market

This thesis is focused on export strategy of a Czech car company named ŠKODA AUTO a.s and its positioning on the Indian market. Firstly, it introduces the company ŠKODA AUTO in detail. Furthermore, it describes different types of possibilities of market entries, export strategy of Czech Republic and characterises different factors about India, but most importantly it describes Indian automotive industry, which is crucial for this thesis. The last part focuses on the positioning of ŠKODA AUTO on the Indian market via its subsidiary SKODA AUTO India Pvt. Ltd. The main aim is to assess whether the entrance to Indian market was a strategic move for this company. This is done with the help of a detailed analysis of Indian market and SWOT analysis of this positioning of ŠKODA AUTO, which is based on the information from the thesis as well as from an interview done with product marketing manager of ŠKODA AUTO India.Tato práce je zaměřena na exportní strategii české společnosti ŠKODA AUTO a.s. a její umístění na indickém trhu. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnotit, zda bylo rozšíření společnosti na indický trh správným krokem. K naplnění tohoto cíle byla použita analýza indického trhu a SWOT analýza umístění společnosti na tomto trhu. Nejdříve se čtenář podrobně seznámí s automobilkou ŠKODA AUTO včetně její exportní strategie. Dále práce popisuje různé možnosti vstupů na zahraniční trhy, exportní strategii ČR a v neposlední řadě charakterizuje Indii, především indický automobilový trh. Na indickém trhu je česká automobilka zastupovaná svou dceřinou společností SKODA AUTO India Pvt. Ltd, jejíž fungování a umístění na tomto trhu je věnována poslední část práce

Automotive industry in the European Union and its connection to other world centres

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na automobilový průmysl v Evropské unii v porovnání s ostatními významnými světovými centry. Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat současný stav evropského automobilového průmysl a vyhodnotit jeho konkurenceschopnost. První kapitola je zaměřena teoretický úvod do tématu, kam spadá historická exkurz nebo moderní vývoj včetně současných trendů tohoto odvětví jako jsou například elektrické vozy nebo sdílená mobilita. Praktická část práce nejdříve podrobně analyzuje automobilový průmysl v EU na základě důležitých faktorů jako je výroba, prodej, export, zaměstnanost v sektoru nebo investice do výzkumu a vývoje osobních vozů. Poslední část práce zkoumá, na základě stejných faktorů, automobilový průmysl ostatních světových center, mezi které patří Čína, USA, Japonsko a Indie. Závěrem práce je vyhodnocení konkurenceschopnosti automobilového průmyslu v evropské unii na základě komparace hlavních faktorů s ostatními světovými centry.This diploma thesis focuses on the automotive industry in the European Union in comparison with other major world centers. The aim of this thesis was to analyze the current state of the European automotive industry and then evaluate its competitiveness. The first chapter focuses on a theoretical introduction which comprises historical excursion or modern development, including current trends in the industry such as electric cars or shared mobility. The practical part firstly analyzes in detail the automotive industry in the EU based on important factors such as production, sales, exports, employment in the sector or investment in research and development of passenger cars. The last part of the thesis examines, based on the same factors, the automotive industry in other regions, which are China, the USA, Japan and India. The conclusion of this thesis is the evaluation of the competitiveness of the automotive industry in the EU based on a comparison s with other world centers

Evaluation impact of the landscape structures on erosion and runoff conditions in given catchment area

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jaký vliv měly změny krajiny, a jejího využívání na erozi v povodí. V tomto případě je hodnoceno katastrální území Kamence u Poličky. Změny kultur a uspořádání polností jsou vyhodnoceny z roku 1954, kdy na sledovaném území nebylo zemědělské družstvo, a pozemky nebyly sjednoceny ve velké celky. Dále v roce 2015, kdy jsou změny ve využití krajiny značné, a pohled do budoucna. Využívání těžké mechanizace a špatné obdělávání půdy vede k jejímu zhutnění a tím ke zhoršení K faktoru. K vyhodnocení ztrát půdy jsem použila metodu USLE s pomocí programu ArcGIS.The aim of this Thesis is to determine the impact of landscape change and erosion in given watershed. This case is evaluating Kamenec cadastral area. Changes in crops and spatial distribution of the fields are evaluated first in 1954, when the monitored area was without agricultural cooperative farms and land was used in a smal land parcels. This was compared to the evaluation in 2015 when land was part of agricultural cooperatives and was used in large units. The changes in landscape and its use were imense. Land exploatation, heavy machinery and non conservation cultivation led to its soil compaction and deterioration of the K factor.To evaluate soil losses I used a method USLE and program ArcGIS

Holidays and Traditions as a Part of Multi-Cultural Instruction

This páper concerns the study of culture of the foreign nations in our country and also the usage of the collected information for the multicultural education in the schools.. Children of foreigners often have speciál requirements and the teachers have to be prepared to solve them. This concerns mutual identifícation of the participating cultures' traditions, avoiding and solving of the intercultural problems and integration of foreigners into the class society. This work can clarify the traditions and holidays of the foreign cultures and thus bring the teacher closer to the thinking of their members. It includes also the field research among the foreigners living here and their teachers. This research forms the basis of the recommendations for the teachers mentioned in the finál part. Several statistics are included to describe the subject of this work
