Filters with Multi-Loop Feedback Structure in Current Mode

    Get PDF
Universal multifunctional (low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, band-reject and all-pass) nth-order active RC filters in current mode are presented in this paper. The filters are based on several multi-loop feedback and state-variable structures. Their modification and implementation using multi-output transconductors (OTA) and current followers are given

    All-Pass Filters in Current Mode

    Get PDF
Analogue first, second and high-order all-pass active filters in the current mode, with constant group delay and magnitude responses, are presented in this paper. These filters are based on a modification of the multi-loop feedback canonical structures using signal flow graphs. Implementations by multi-output transconductors, namely classical OTAs and novel CDTAs are given

On Canonical Structures of ARC Biquadratic Filters with Single Transconductor

    Get PDF
The paper deals with simple canonical structures of the second order ARC filters employing only single transconductor (OTA) and passive components R and C. A systematic design procedure of this circuits based on the given autonomous networks is described. Several appropriate general autonomous circuits are presented and studied

This thesis deals with design of twin-fluid atomizers. The main task is to categorize atomizers, mainly to sort and describe recent types of twin-fluid atomizers. The thesis describes operating advantages/disadvantages, complexity of designs of selected nobles. The thesis compares nozzles with the quality and method of atomization. Based on the knowledge was created technical drawings of two selected nozzles with internal mixing.

“We Are Authors”: A Qualitative Analysis of Deaf Students’ Writing During One Year of Strategic and Interactive Writing Instruction (SIWI)

    Get PDF
This article expands on prior Strategic and Interactive Writing Instruction (SIWI) research by examining students' development as writers. Findings from a qualitative analysis of the writing development of 20 middle-school deaf and hard of hearing students over one year of instruction is reported. Implications and future directions are discussed

Geochemistry of Ordovician volcanic rocks of the Tetagouche Group of southwestern New Brunswick

    Get PDF
The Lower to Middle Ordovician volcanic suite of the Tetagouche Group from the southwestern part of the Miramichi Terrane in the Woodstock-Meductic area in southwestern New Brunswick is composed of a bimodal basalt-rhyolite association. The basaltshave calc-alkalic characteristics and were emplaced on the continental crust in a volcanic arc or back-arc environment. The rhyolites were probably derived by melting of an amphibolite-facies crust. The basalts differ from those of the Tetagouche Group from the Bathurst area which include within-plate basalts and MORB. However, they both may be part of a single Ordovician arc-back-arc system. In re J.J. Re–Bar Corp.: The Application of the Anti-Injunction Act

    Get PDF
(Excerpt) The Anti–Injunction Act is a provision of the U.S Code that prohibits any court from impeding the Internal Revenue Service from collecting an assessed tax. The Circuits have applied the Anti–Injunction Act to bankruptcy proceedings in two different ways. When the IRS seeks to assess a tax against a corporate fiduciary of a bankrupt corporation, as when the IRS tries to collect a penalty associated with unpaid payroll taxes, the Circuits have held that the Anti–Injunction Act allows the IRS to collect the funds it is entitled to without any interference. However, when the IRS attempts to collect unpaid income taxes from debtors without allowing the Bankruptcy Court the opportunity to directly assess the validity of the debt, the Circuits have found that the Anti–Injunction Act does not prohibit a court from enjoining the IRS’s collection efforts. Two cases illustrate these different applications of the Anti–Injunction Act: J.J. Re–Bar Corp. v. United States, 644 F.3d 952 (9th Cir. 2011) and Bostwick v. United States, 521 F.2d 741 (8th Cir. 1975)

Design Methodology for Testing the Possibility of Electricity Meters according to EN 50160

    Get PDF
This bachelor thesis examines electricity meters and their ability to measure the quality of electricity. Also, it observes a proposal of a method for testing selected parameters. Moreover, it describes the characteristics of a low voltage supplied from public distribution networks and their limits according to which the quality of electricity is determined. Afterwards, there are the electricity meter’s properties considering the measurement of quality parameters investigated and a methodology of testing according to valid standards for selected instruments is developed. Furthermore, this work describes the implementation of practical tests and in the conclusion of this work evaluation of the results.450 - Katedra kybernetiky a biomedicínského inženýrstvívelmi dobř

    Igneous Rock Associations 10. Komatiites

    Get PDF
Komatiites are ultramafic volcanic rocks that occur mainly in Archean and Paleoproterozoic greenstone belts. These olivine-rich rocks are assumed to have crystallized from magmas that have about 28–30 wt% MgO. They are characterized by spinifex texture - platy or skeletal crystals of olivine set in a glassy matrix. Chemically, komatiites resemble peridotites and have high MgO but low SiO2, TiO2
