In the first decades of the 17th century, and due to the prosperous trade and the intensive traffic of merchant ships in the ports of Alicante and Cartagena, different pirates of the Protestant countries of the Atlantic carne, once they had signed a peace agreement or agreed to a truce with Spain. However, they did not find a suitable reply on the Spanish part

Masses and semileptonic decays of doubly heavy baryons in a nonrelativistic quark model

We evaluate masses and semileptonic decay widths for the ground state of doubly heavy Ξ\Xi and Ω\Omega baryons in the framework of a nonrelativistic quark model. We solve the three-body problem by means of a variational ansatz made possible by heavy-quark spin symmetry constraints. Our masses are comparable to the ones obtained in relativistic calculations and we get one of the best agreements with lattice data. Our simple wave functions are used to evaluate semileptonic decays of doubly heavy Ξ,Ξ′(J=1/2)\Xi, \Xi'(J=1/2) and Ω,Ω′(J=1/2)\Omega, \Omega'(J=1/2) baryons. Our results for the decay widths are in reasonable agreement with calculations done in a relativistic calculation in the quark-diquark approximation. We also check that our wave functions comply with what it is expected in the infinite heavy quark mass limit.Comment: 3 latex pages, two tables. To appear in the INPC07 proceeding

This article establishes certain important results for mathematical analysis, specifically related to conformable derivatives of fractional order, among them the following stand out: the chain rule, the Cauchy mean value theorem and L’Hopital’s rule. These results are expected to stimulate research in this area. Anomalous magnetic and weak magnetic dipole moments of the Ï„\tau lepton in the simplest little Higgs model

We obtain analytical expressions, both in terms of parametric integrals and Passarino-Veltman scalar functions, for the one-loop contributions to the anomalous weak magnetic dipole moment (AWMDM) of a charged lepton in the framework of the simplest little Higgs model (SLHM). Our results are general and can be useful to compute the weak properties of a charged lepton in other extensions of the standard model (SM). As a by-product we obtain generic contributions to the anomalous magnetic dipole moment (AMDM), which agree with previous results. We then study numerically the potential contributions from this model to the τ\tau lepton AMDM and AWMDM for values of the parameter space consistent with current experimental data. It is found that they depend mainly on the energy scale ff at which the global symmetry is broken and the tβt_\beta parameter, whereas there is little sensitivity to a mild change in the values of other parameters of the model. While the τ\tau AMDM is of the order of 10−910^{-9}, the real (imaginary) part of its AWMDM is of the order of 10−910^{-9} (10−1010^{-10}). These values seem to be out of the reach of the expected experimental sensitivity of future experiments.Comment: 23 pages, 11 figures, new analysis and References adde
