This study aims at exploring the role of satisfaction and trust in online purchase and evaluating the impact that may happen due to customized information. The study proposes a model that satisfaction and trust are both mediated by customized information to achieve high intention of online purchase. Data from Egypt, as an example of the developing countries is collected and used to determine the relationship between both; satisfaction and trust on one side and online purchase intention of textiles on the other side. It was found that both; satisfaction and trust are mediated by the customized information provided. Keywords: Virtual Business, Customized Information, Customer Satisfaction, Online Purchase

Design, Synthesis and Antibacterial Evaluation of some new 3,5-Diphenylcyclohex-2-en-1-one Derivatives

    Get PDF
The moiety of cyclohexene has been showed highly antibacterial activity. New compounds were synthesized from diphenylcyclohexenone via reaction with a variety of reagents to afford branched chain of 1,3-diphenylcyclohexene or fused heterocyclic systems including pyrazole, chromen and pyrrole derivatives. Cyclic ketoketene s,s-acetal can be prepared by reaction with CS2/MeI under PTC conditions which in turn used as starting material for the synthesis of pyrazolyl and benzothiszolyl derivatives. Most of new synthesized compounds were characterized by using spectral data and were screened for their antibacterial activity

Starting from 3-amino-5-(2-hydroxyphenyl) amino acid coupled triazoles 1a-e, new 3-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-3H-imidazo[2,1-c][1,2,4]triazol-6(5H)-one 2a,b, 3b,d, 6a and 3-N-arly(alkyl) amino acid coupled triazoles 4b,d, 7a,c,d,e have been synthesized as potential antileishmanial agents. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed using elemental and spectral analyses (FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and MS). The in vitro antileishmanial potency of the synthesized compounds was evaluated compared to Amphotericin B deoxycholate and miltefosine as lead references. Compounds 2b, 7d and 7e showed perfect IC50 values corresponding to amphotericin B and more patent than miltefosine against L. aethiopica promastigotes.               KEY WORDS: Amino acids, Coupled, Imidazo-1,2,4-Triazole, Promatigote, Antileishmanial Bull. Eco-Friendly Synthesis, Biological Evaluation, and In Silico Molecular Docking Approach of Some New Quinoline Derivatives as Potential Antioxidant and Antibacterial Agents

A new series of quinoline derivatives 5–12 were efficiently synthesized via one-pot multicomponent reaction (MCR) of resorcinol, aromatic aldehydes, β-ketoesters, and aliphatic/aromatic amines under solvent-free conditions. All products were obtained in excellent yields, pure at low-cost processing, and short time. The structures of all compounds were characterized by means of spectral and elemental analyses. In addition, all the synthesized compounds 5–12 were in vitro screened for their antioxidant and antibacterial activity. Moreover, in silico molecular docking studies of the new quinoline derivatives with the target enzymes, human NAD (P)H dehydrogenase (quinone 1) and DNA gyrase, were achieved to endorse their binding affinities and to understand ligand–enzyme possible intermolecular interactions. Compound 9 displayed promising antioxidant and antibacterial activity, as well as it was found to have the highest negative binding energy of -9.1 and -9.3 kcal/mol for human NAD (P)H dehydrogenase (quinone 1) and DNA gyrase, respectively. Further, it complied with the Lipinski’s rule of five, Veber, and Ghose. Therefore, the quinoline analogue 9 could be promising chemical scaffold for the development of future drug candidates as antioxidant and antibacterial agents

    3-Amino-5-(piperidin-1-yl)thiophene-2,4-dicarbonitrile

In the title compound, C11H12N4S, the thiophene ring is roughly planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.012 (1) Å for the S atom, and makes a dihedral angle of 7.89 (8)° with the mean plane of the piperidine ring, which is in a chair conformation. The crystal packing is stabilized by pairs of centrosymmetric intermolecular N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds, which results in the formation of a step-wise chain parallel to [10]

The Antioxidant Activity of New Coumarin Derivatives

The antioxidant activity of two synthesized coumarins namely, N-(4,7-dioxo-2- phenyl-1,3-oxazepin-3(2H,4H,7H)-yl)-2-(2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yloxy)acetamide 5 and N-(4-oxo-2-phenylthiazolidin-3-yl)-2-(2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yloxy)acetamide 6 were studied with the DPPH, hydrogen peroxide and nitric oxide radical methods and compared with the known antioxidant ascorbic acid. Compounds 5 and 6 were synthesized in a good yield from the addition reaction of maleic anhydride or mercaptoacetic acid to compound 4, namely N′-benzylidene-2-(2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yloxy)acetohydrazide. Compound 4 was synthesized by the condensation of compound 3, namely 2-(2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yloxy) acetohydrazide, with benzaldehyde. Compound 3, however, was synthesized from the addition of hydrazine to compound 2, namely ethyl 2-(2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yloxy)acetate, which was synthesized from the reaction of ethyl bromoacetate with 4-hydroxycoumarin 1. Structures for the synthesized coumarins 2–6 are proposed on the basis of spectroscopic evidence

    Get PDF
Service quality has played an essential role in the hotel industry for decades. Accordingly, it is essential that service providers recognize customer perceptions and expectations in addition to the factors that influence their satisfaction with the service provided. Hotel industry is growing in Egypt. Taking into consideration the competition among hotels, hotel managers are concentrating on enhancing the factors related to service quality for the hotel industry customers' in Egypt. The hotel industry service quality is an essential factor of flourishing business.   By o0ffering quality service, companies can maintain customers’ loyalty and competitive edges more than their competitors. This study explores the effects of different hotel industry factors that affect customer satisfaction. Mostly all researchers adopted Parasuraman, Zeitaml, & Berry’s (1988) service quality model and adopted their SERVQUAL instrument, based upon the conception that service quality varies among industries. This study includes additional dimensions, identified by customers, which supposed to be integrated into the service quality construct it measures the level of importance of each particular dimension for the of hotel services users in Egypt.
