EDUKASI PENCEGAHAN DAN PENGENDALIAN INFEKSI UNTUK MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN

Abstrak: Selama masa pandemi COVID-19, perlindungan terhadap infeksi atau kontrol penularannya menjadi sangat penting baik di masyarakat ataupun tenaga kesehatan. Peserta didik calon tenaga kesehatan baik mahasiswa kedokteran, keperawatan dan terapis lainnya perlu mendapatkan pendidikan tentang kontrol infeksi dengan baik. Meskipun pandemi COVID-19 di dunia telah berlalu atau menjadi status endemis, banyak hal yang menjadi kebiasaan baru yang tetap harus dibiasakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Mahasiswa Kedokteran merupakan bagian dari masyarakat yang dalam pencapaian profesinya sering berhubungan dengan risiko penularan infeksi sehingga sangat perlu dibekali pengetahuan dan kebiasaan untuk perlindungan terhadap infeksi di masa depan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diikuti oleh 20 peserta mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran UMY Angkatan 2022. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengisi kuesioner pengetahuan tentang pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi, dimana terjadi peningkatan menjadi 85% yang terjawab benar oleh seluruh peserta. Evaluasi ketrampilan melalui kemampuan peserta untuk melakukan cuci hidung secara mandiri dengan pengawasan sebanyak 80% peserta, sehingga dapat disimpulkan kegiatan pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini berlangsung dengan baik.Abstract: During the COVID-19 pandemic, protection against infection or control of its transmission is very important both in the community and in health workers. Students of prospective health workers, both medical students, nursing students and other therapists, need to get proper education about infection control. Even though the COVID-19 pandemic in the world has passed or has become endemic, many things have become new habits that still have to get used to in everyday life. Medical students are part of the community whose professional achievements are often associated with the risk of infection transmission, so they really need to be equipped with knowledge and habits to protect against future infections. The lectures and workshops were attended by 20 student participants from the UMY Faculty of Medicine Class of 2022. The evaluation was carried out by filling out a knowledge questionnaire about infection prevention and control, where there was an increase to 85% which were answered correctly by all participants. Evaluation of skills through the ability of participants to perform nose washing independently with supervision of 80% of participants, so that it can be concluded that the implementation of community service activities is going well and is beneficial

Pengaruh Edukasi Keluarga terhadap Kemampuan Keluarga dalam Merawat Klien dengan Isolasi Sosial

The purpose of this research is to know what happened in RSKJ Soeprapto Bengkulu, which is domiciled in Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative research. The type of this research approach is quasi experimental research with One-Group Pre-test and post test design. The sample in this study were 15 patients who underwent outpatient at RSKJ Soeprapto Bengkulu which is domiciled in Bengkulu City, the sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate the influence of family education on family ability in treating patients with social isolation disorder in RSKJS Bengkulu Province with P = 0,000 (<0,05). Based on the results of this study, can be used as information for families in caring for patients who treat social disorders at the time of the family visited the Hospital.   Keywords: Family Education, Family’s Ability, Social Isolation&nbsp

Efektivitas Perbedaan Terapi Deep Breathing dan Senam Bugar Lansia terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah pada Pasien Hipertensi

This study aims to determine the differences in the effectiveness of deep breathing therapy and fitness for the elderly to reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the elderly at the Fish Market Health Center in Bengkulu City. This study uses quantitative research with experimental methods, using pre-experimental designs with pretest-posttest design. The results showed that there was no difference in effectiveness between deep breathing therapy and fitness for the elderly. Systolic blood pressure after deep breathing therapy and fitness for the elderly, p value = 0.136 and diastolic blood pressure p value = 0.716 (<0.05). Conclusion, there is no difference in the effectiveness of deep breathing therapy and fitness for the elderly to reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the elderly at the Fish Market Health Center in Bengkulu City.   Keywords: Deep Breathing, Hypertension, Exercise Fitness, Elderly, Blood Pressur

Perancangan Mobile Website Mengenai Cara Merawat Leopard Gecko untuk Orang Tua Pemilik Leopard Gecko

Di masa pandemi, kesempatan untuk berinteraksi dengan orang lain semakin berkurang yang berdampak pada kondisi psikologis dan fisik. Banyak orang memutuskan untuk memiliki hewan peliharaan demi interaksi. Menurut sebuah penelitian di Indonesia, terjadi peningkatan pencarian mengenai hewan peliharaan, salah satu hewan peliharaan yang lagi trending adalah Leopard Gecko Leopard Gecko cenderung mudah dipelihara, namun karena informasi cara merawatnya masih beragam, bisa jadi ada kesalahpahaman, menyebabkan banyak masalah seperti gangguan kesehatan pada Leopard Gecko, dan juga dapat mempengaruhi pemiliknya juga. Dari hasil penelitian seperti wawancara dan FGD, banyak yang tidak diketahui oleh penulis mengenai Leopard Gecko, dari segi jenis Leopard Gecko yang memiliki penyakit bawaan, pentingnya kebersihan dalam merawat Leopard Gecko, dan bagaimana cara merawat yang gagal. satu juga akan mempengaruhi pemilik. Hal ini membuat penulis berpikiran terbuka terhadap Leopard Gecko sebagai reptil "pemula", tidak bisa diremehkan begitu saja

Comparison of linear and nonlinear implementation of the compartmental tissue uptake model for dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI.

Purpose: Fitting tracer kinetic models using linear methods is much faster than using their nonlinear counterparts, although this comes often at the expense of reduced accuracy and precision. The aim of this study was to derive and compare the performance of the linear compartmental tissue uptake (CTU) model with its nonlinear version with respect to their percentage error and precision. Theory and Methods: The linear and nonlinear CTU models were initially compared using simulations with varying noise and temporal sampling. Subsequently, the clinical applicability of the linear model was demonstrated on 14 patients with locally advanced cervical cancer examined with dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging. Results: Simulations revealed equal percentage error and precision when noise was within clinical achievable ranges (contrast-to-noise ratio >10). The linear method was significantly faster than the nonlinear method, with a minimum speedup of around 230 across all tested sampling rates. Clinical analysis revealed that parameters estimated using the linear and nonlinear CTU model were highly correlated (ρ ≥ 0.95). Conclusion: The linear CTU model is computationally more efficient and more stable against temporal downsampling, whereas the nonlinear method is more robust to variations in noise. The two methods may be used interchangeably within clinical achievable ranges of temporal sampling and noise

Penurunan Tekanan Darah pada Lansia dengan Senam Ergonomis

This study aims to determine the influence of ergonomic exercise on reducing blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Center for Sponsorship and Elderly Care. The method used in this research is the quasi-experiment method with one group pre and post-test design. The results of the analysis showed that there were differences in the average systolic blood pressure before and after the ergonomic exercise was 14.00, and the diastolic blood pressure before and after the ergonomic practice was 8.00. Bivariate test results obtained a p-value of 0.00. In conclusion, there is the influence of ergonomic exercise intervention on the reduction of blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Center for Support and Care for the Elderly.   Keywords: Hypertension, Elderly, Ergonomic Gymnastic
