The IACOB spectroscopic database of Galactic OB stars

We present the IACOB spectroscopic database, the largest homogeneous database of high-resolution, high signal-to-noise ratio spectra of Northern Galactic OB-type stars compiled up to date. The spectra were obtained with the FIES spectrograph attached to the Nordic Optical Telescope. We briefly summarize the main characeristics and present status of the IACOB, first scientific results, and some future plans for its extension and scientific exploitation.Comment: 2 pages. The IACOB project: A grid-based automatic tool for the quantitative spectroscopic analysis of O-stars

We present the IACOB grid-based automatic tool for the quantitative spectroscopic analysis of O-stars. The tool consists of an extensive grid of FASTWIND models, and a variety of programs implemented in IDL to handle the observations, perform the automatic analysis, and visualize the results. The tool provides a fast and objective way to determine the stellar parameters and the associated uncertainties of large samples of O-type stars within a reasonable computational time.Comment: 8 pages, 2 figures, 1 table. Tractament amb ultrasons per obtenir microestructures globulars (no dendrítiques) en l´aliatge d´alumini EN AC-46500 (L-2630)

La finalitat d´aquest projecte és estudiar l’efecte dels paràmetres de conformació en estat semi-sòlid de l´aliatge d´alumini EN AC-46500 (L-2630), mitjançant agitació per ultrasons. Gràcies a les investigacions en els últims anys, s´ha desenvolupat aquesta nova tècnica de preparació de material que proporciona característiques de fabricació per a peces del sector transport entre d’altres, com espessors canviants i propietats mecàniques més bones. Actualment les línies de recerca van adreçades a investigar nous aliatges per ser conformats en estat semi-sòlid així com estudiar les variables que proporciona aquest mètode de preparació per a la conformació. Per això, en aquest projecte s’estudia l’obtenció de la microestructura globular, en l´aliatge d´alumini EN AC-46500 (L-2630) , amb l’aplicació d´ones ultrasòniques. Les mostres estudiades han estat obtingudes mitjançant un procés experimental, durant el qual s´han dut a terme mesures de temperatures, temps d’agitació amb ultrasons i amplituds, s’ha analitzat la microestructura de solidificació a través de la microscòpia òptica recolzat de tècniques de anàlisis

Yours and mine, just like ours?: characteristics and patterns of coexistence among stepfamilies

[Resumen] Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado analiza la emergencia y la composición de las denominadas académicamente como “familias reconstituidas”. Este modelo familiar representa a aquellos hogares en los que conviven una pareja con hijos de uniones conyugales anteriores. En concreto la finalidad de esta investigación consiste en: Análisis descriptivo en la evolución e incidencia de las familias reconstituidas en España, de-construir el propio concepto de familia tradicional que vincula a los parientes por medio de lazos de sangre, identificar las pautas de reconstitución familiar, su tipología, su impacto emocional en los parientes más próximos (hijos, abuelos y parejas) y analizar las relaciones inter-generacionales de convivencia y las nuevas dinámicas paterno-maternofiliales y las conclusiones al respeto.[Resumo] Este Traballo de Fin de Grao é para analizar a emerxencia e a composición das denominadas academicamente como “familias reconstituidas”. Este modelo familiar representa a aqueles fogares nos que conviven unha parella con fillos de unións conxugais anteriores.
