The enhancements of CP-violating effects in resonance neutron transmissionthrough polarized targets are studied for 2 possible versions of experiment. The importance is stressed of error analysis and of pseudomagnetic effects' compensation.Comment: 11 pages, LaTeX + 4 PostScript figure

Extraction of bounds on time-reversal non-invariance from neutron reactions

Ratios involving on-resonance measurements of the three-fold and five-fold correlation cross sections for which the dependence on some of the unknown spectroscopic data is eliminated are considered. Closed form expressions are derived for the statistical distributions of these ratios. Implications for bounds on the variance of matrix elements of time reversal non-invariant nucleon-nucleon interactions are considered within a Bayesian framework and the competitiveness with bounds from other experiments is evaluated. The prospects for null five-fold correlation measurements improving by an order of magnitude or more upon the current bound on a parity-conserving T-odd interaction are good.Comment: 14 pages, to be published in Physics Letters

The British Library and STFC are working together to connect metadata relating to PhD theses to use of research facilities provided by STFC. Through the creation of a graph which connects metadata across EThOS, the UK national e-theses repository, the STFC insitutional repository ePubs and the Diamond Light Source repository, links between the theses, authors and institutions have been made. This pilot work has the potential to be extended to enhance the metadata stored within EThOS which is administered by The British Library. This work presents an exciting possibility for other institutions as this graph will present a method to enable the bi-directional updating of metadata held across different systems

Limits of Time-Reversal Violating Interaction from Compound Nuclear Experiments

Mean square matrix elements of the time reversal invariance violating (TRIV) interaction between the compound nuclear states are calculated within the statistical model, using the explicit form of the TRIV interaction via the ρ\rho-meson exchange. From the comparison of the calculated values with the data known for p+27Al24Mg+αp+ ^{27}Al \Leftrightarrow ^{24}Mg + \alpha reaction, and for γ\gamma-correlation measurements in 113Cd(n,γ)114Cd^{113}Cd(n,\gamma)^{114}Cd process, the bounds on the TRIV constant are obtained {\bar g}_{\rho} \alt 1.8 \times 10^{-2} and {\bar g}_{\rho} \alt 1.1 \times 10^{-2}. The sensitivity of the recently proposed detailed balance test experiments on isolated resonances in 32S^{32}S to the value of gˉρ{\bar g}_{\rho} is shown to be as high as to reach values gˉρ104{\bar g}_{\rho} \sim 10^{-4}.Comment: Phys. Abstract. In the modern world, when the number of traveling people is steadily increasing, Russia is striving to attract tourists by increasing the number of tourist exhibits. The logical answer to the constant increase in the number of tourists is an increase in the number of accommodation facilities, therefore the hotel business is among the priority areas for the development of the socio-cultural service. Since the geopolitical and economic situation is not conducive to the rest of the Russians in foreign resorts, an increasing number of our fellow citizens are choosing domestic placesfor recreation. Accordingly, we are witnessing the effect of two trends: the first is an increase in the tourist flow within Russia, the second is an increase in the number of collective accommodation facilities, which leads to increased competition in the hotel services market. In the current conditions of tough competition, those hotel enterprises that are able to satisfy and even anticipate the guests' needs win. At the same time, the struggle goes not only for the guest, but also for highly qualified staff, and the correct selection, evaluation of candidates, the adaptation of a new employee andcompetent staff training is the key to the success of a modern hotel enterprise. Despite the fact that the vector of modern scientific research has long since turned to the side of practical disciplines and the topic of personnel management has found multiple reflections in scientific works, still not all hotel enterprises in Kazan managed to build a competent personnel management system. The only exception is the international network hotels in the city, in which this problem is given special attention. Thus, this work can be used as a practical and methodical manual on competent personnel management in hotel enterprises. Keywords: hotel, company, manager, management, hotel enterprise, staff, influence

Abstract- In article the most important directions of development of territorial branding in Russia are considered based on the supply chain management. Importance and relevance of consideration of the matter taking into account strengthening of competition between regions and need of increase in their competitiveness is shown. Author's definitions of a territorial brand and territorial branding are given. Classification of the Russian territorial brands on the basis of population, living in the respective territory, in the city or the rural settlement was carried out. Authors give a large number of the illustrations opening the maintenance of territorial brands and disclose the main ideas which are been the basis for their designing. In conclusion of article the conclusion was drawn that development and advance of territorial brands significantly increases tourist and recreational and investment attractiveness of regions, and, therefore, promotes acceleration of rates of their social and economic development and improvement of quality of life of local population
