    Effects of EMR on Community Health Center Communication

    Electronic medical record (EMR) systems impact healthcare communication in a significant number of ways. The physical presence of the EMR in the examination room can negatively impacts patient-provider communication. This research examined the impact of EMR on patient-provider communication within the microcosm of the community health center. The data for this research was collected via a quantitative survey using a random sample of 513 (10%) of the 5,101 patients of the Northwest Community Health Center (August 2021 to August 2022). These participants were at least 18 years of age and had seen their medical provider in the previous 12 months. Many themes arose from the research participants who were uncomfortable with the EMR or the use of technology in the exam room. Understanding the benefits or even the general functionality of the EMR allows the patient to feel more comfortable with its use and to become more tolerant of the presence and use of technology during the physician encounter. Furthermore, as the possession and use of current technologies diminishes amongst the study’s participants, so does their preference for their provider to use an EMR. To comprehend the impact EMR knowledge has on the patients’ perception of its utilization, a crosstabulation between staff and non-staff patients underlined the fundamental difference. When asked what type of chart they would prefer their medical provider to use, a quarter of non-staff patients preferred electronic medical records, whereas two-thirds of the staff, who are also patients of the community health center, preferred the same. These findings indicate a need to educate patients about the benefits of the EMR and the advantage of accessing the EMR in the exam room. Furthermore, enhancing the providers’ communication skills will help them comprehend the prevalent communication barriers created by accessing the EMR in the exam room. The quality of the interaction between the patient and provider is critical to the patient’s health outcomes. Improved communication leads to better emotional and physiological health, compliance with treatment recommendations, pain management, and symptom resolution

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri, komitmen, dan motivasi berprestasi dengan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan survai. Sampel penelitiannya atlet renang Jawa Barat berjumlah 35 orang dan diambil melalui teknik random. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara: (1) konsep diri dan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas; (2) komitmen dan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas; (3) motivasi berprestasi dan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas; dan (4) konsep diri, komitmen, dan motivasi berprestasi secara bersama-sama dengan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas

    Discourse on artificial intelligence runs noticeably along with the developments of computing technology. At the same time, the business environment become more uncertain, ambiguous, and competitive, which requires organizations to innovate for their sustainability continuously. This paper aims to broaden innovation management knowledge, particularly in applying artificial intelligence. The behavioural Theory of the Firm is a framework for writing this conceptual inquiry. To do so, artificial intelligence can assist organizations in processing information companies need to create incremental and radical innovations. Specifically, artificial intelligence is useful in overcoming barriers to innovation (during information processing and search processes) and generating and developing ideas and solutions. Furthermore, adopting artificial intelligence in innovation management is determined by the level of organizational capability in information processing, which consists of three levels: exploitation, expansion, and exploration. Then, economic, technological and social forces are argued as factors that can push organizations to adopt artificial intelligence. The challenges faced in the adoption process can come from technical aspects of technology, individual aspects, and interaction between technology and humans. The final part of this manuscript describes the future research agenda that can be carried out related to artificial intelligence and innovation management

    Opioid and the usage in chronic non cancer pain

    The use of opioid in various guidelines for chronic non-cancer pain is controversial because evidence of their long-term benefits is weak. The potential for serious adverse effects and local regulations warrant caution in both prescribers and users. However, opioids have a role in the management of chronic non-cancer pain in carefully selected patients with regular monitoring and as a part of multimodal therapy. Common adverse effects should be treated promptly to improve patient compliance. We believe that opioid therapy at low doses is beneficial in some patients. It should not be denied but carefully considered on a case-by-case basis

    ABSTRAKSalah satu tantangan besar yang dihadapi oleh pemerintah khususnya pemerintah daerah adalah bagaimana menampilkan aparatur yang profesional, memiliki etos kerja yang tinggi, menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Peran dari aparat pemerintah sangatlah penting karena untuk terlaksananya roda pemerintahan yang baik serta pelayanan kepada masyarakat dibutuhkan sikap profesional dari setiap aparat pemerintah  baik pimpinan  sampai  pada bawahan. Sikap profesional yang melekat pada setiap aparat pemerintah tentunya akan dapat meningkatkan produktifitas kerja dan terwujudnya kesejahteraan masyarakat lewat pelayanan yang baik. Namun pada kenyataannya yang dihadapi adalah sulitnya menggerakkan setiap aparatur pemerintah agar senantiasa mau dan bersedia mengerahkan kemampuan terbaiknya untuk kepentingan organisasi serta pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Apabila kinerja aparatur pemerintah baik maka akan membangun opini publik yang baik, sebaliknya jika kinerja aparatur pemerintah kurang baik maka hal ini juga akan membentuk opini publik yang tidak baik juga. Hal ini akan sangat mempengaruhi kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap aparatur pemerintah itu sendiri. Hal inilah yang terjadi di Kabupaten Maybrat, dmana kinerja pemerintah daerah dalam hal ini Bupati dinilai oleh masyarakat kurang baik, terlihat dari opini masyarakat yang terbentuk terhadap kinerja bupati. Hal ini perlu di carikan solusi agar tidak berlarut dan dapat menciptakan kepercayaan masyarakat kepada legitimasi pemerintahan di kabupaten Maybrat. Realita yang terjadi di kabupaten Maybrat selama kepemimpinan pak Bupati Drs. Bernard Sagrim M.M, sebagai pejabat bupati periode 2017-2022, banyak sekali ditemukan masalah- masalah yang menghambat pembangunan kemajuan pemerintah didaerah tersebut. Permasalahan yang terjadi antara lain: pelayanan admistrasi yang belum berjalan dengan baik, yang disebabkan karena Kabupaten Maybrat hingga saat ini belum ada kantor bupati, kantor sekertaris daerah, kantor DPRD milik kabupaten. Selain itu, pelayanan adminstrasi juga yang belum berjalan dengan baik, pembangunan infrastruktur  jalan antara desa dan distrik yang belum berjalan dengan baik, yang menghambat proses pelayanan transportasi masyarakat di kabupaten Maybrat. Sementara di bidang ekonomi dikabupaten Maybrat sendiri belum punya pasar umum milik pemerintah daerah, hal ini yang menjadi salah satu penghambat kemajuan ekonomi masyarakat pemerintah kabupaten Maybrat. Sedangkan di bidang pendidikan banyak fasilitas bangunan sekolah yang sudah rusak dan tidak diperhatikan oleh pemerintah daerah, dibidang kesehatan hingga sekarang pemerintah belum memiliki rumah sakit umum milik pemerintah daerah dan lain-lain sebagainya.  Permasalahan ini perlu dicarikan solusi agar kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap legitimasi pemerintahan dapat terjaga dan agar tidak terjadi kekacauan di tengah masyarakat sebagai akibat dari kepemimpinan bupati.  Kata Kunci: Opini Publik: Kinerja: Aparat Pemerintah   PUBLIC OPINION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF GOVERNMENT PERSONNELIN MAYBRAT DISTRICT, WEST PAPUA PROVINCE  ABSTRACTOne of the big challenges faced by the government, especially local governments, is how to present a professional apparatus, have a high work ethic, carry out their duties and functions in realizing people's welfare. The role of the government apparatus is very important because for the implementation of good governance and service to the community, a professional attitude is needed from every government apparatus, both leaders and subordinates. The professional attitude inherent in every government apparatus will certainly be able to increase work productivity and the realization of community welfare through good services. However, in reality what is faced is the difficulty of moving every government apparatus so that they are always willing and willing to mobilize their best for the benefit of the organization and service to the community. If the performance of the government apparatus is good, it will build good public opinion, on the other hand, if the performance of the government apparatus is not good, this will also form a bad public opinion as well. This will greatly affect public confidence in the government apparatus itself. This is what happened in Maybrat Regency, where the performance of the local government, in this case the Regent, was judged by the community to be poor, as seen from the public opinion formed on the regent's performance. It is necessary to find a solution so that it does not drag on and can create public trust in the legitimacy of the government in Maybrat district. The reality that happened in Maybrat district during the leadership of the Regent Drs. Bernard Sagrim M.M, as regent official for the 2017-2022 period, found many problems that hindered the development of government progress in the area. The problems that occur include: administrative services that have not been running well, which is because Maybrat Regency does not yet have a regent's office, regional secretary office, and district-owned DPRD office. Apart from that, administrative services are also not running well, road infrastructure development between villages and districts is not yet running well, which hinders the process of community transportation services in Maybrat district. Meanwhile, in the economic sector, Maybrat Regency itself does not yet have a public market owned by the regional government, this is one of the obstacles to the economic progress of the Maybrat district government community. Meanwhile, in the education sector, many school building facilities have been damaged and have not been paid attention to by the local government. In the health sector, until now the government has not had a public hospital owned by the local government and so on.     ABSTRAK Pendapatan Asli Daerah merupakan seluruh penerimaan daerah yang berasal dari perekonomian daerah. Pendapatan Asli Daerah yang terdiri dari pajak daerah, retribusi daerah, hasil pengelolaan kekayaan daerah yang dipisahkan, lain-lain pendapatan asli daerah yang sah. Penelitian dilakukan pada Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Kota Padang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif, kontribusi, dan pertumbuhan dari pajak daerah dan retribusi daerah terhadap PAD. Data penelitian ini adalah realisasi, target, dan penerimaan pajak daerah dan retribusi daerah tahun 2011 – 2015. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pajak daerah dan retribusi daerah dalam pengelolaan bagus, sehingga terus mampu mengalami peningkatan penerimaan.     Negara Indonesia adalah negara yang berdasarkan hukum. Hal ini dinyatakan dalam Pasal 1 ayat (3) Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 Amandemen ke-4 disebutkan bahwa : “ Negara Indonesia adalah negara hukum”. Salah satu ciri negara hukum adalah adanya peradilan administrasi yang berdiri sendiri. Tujuan diadakannya Peradilan administrasi atau Peradilan Tatat Usaha Negara adalah untuk memberikan pengayoman hukum dan kepastian hukum, baik bagi rakyat maupun administrasi negara dalam arti terjaganya keseimbangan kepentingan masyarakat dengan kepentingan individu. Peradilan Tata Usaha Negara tersebut dimaksudkan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan secara hukum yaitu adanya benturan kepentingan yang mungkin saja terjadi antara Badan atau Pejabat Tata Usaha Negara dengan orang atau badan hukum perdata sebagai akibat dikeluarkannya Keputusan Tata Usaha Negara yang dianggap merugikan orang atau badan hukum perdata (pihak Penggugat), walaupun dalam rangka pelaksanaan pemerintahan atau pembangunan. Penyelesaian masalah tersebut dilakukan melalui adanya gugatan Tata Usaha Negara yang diajukan pihak yang merasa dirugikan atas dikeluarkannya Keputusan Tatat Usaha Negara oleh pejabat tata usaha negara. Pejabat tersebut harus menaati dan melaksanakan putusan hakim PTUN. Namun dalam prakteknya banyak pejabat TUN yang tidak melaksanankan putusan TUN tersebut, seperti Pemerintah Kota Bogor yang tidak melaksanakan amar putusan Pengadilan Tata Usaha Negara Nomor 98/G/2015/PTUN-BDG terhadap Izin Mendirikan Bangunan (IMB) Hotel Salak Tower. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, mengkaji dan menganalisis hambatan ambatan dalam pelaksanaan putusan Peradilan Tata Usaha Negara Nomor 98/G/2015/PTUN-BDG terhadap Izin Mendirikan Bangunan (IMB) Hotel Salak Tower dan upaya yang dilakukan Pengadilan Tata Usaha Negara (PTUN) Bandung dalam pelaksanaan putusan PTUN Bandung terhadap Izin Mendirikan Bangunan (IMB) Hotel Salak Tower. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptip-analitis dengan metode pendekatan normatif. Tahap penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan dengan data sekunder dan studi lapangan dengan data primer. Pengumpulan data ini diperoleh dengan melakukan inventarisasi terhadap bahan-bahan yang telah diperoleh dengan cara studi dokumen. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan yuridis-kualitatif. Hambatan yang dapat menghalangi pelaksanaan putusan PTUN adalah kekurangan-kekurangan yang terdapat dalam Pasal 116 Undang-Undang Nomor 51 Tahun 2009 tentang PTUN yang tidak memiliki peraturan pelaksana yang salahsatunya terkait dengan penerapan sanksi administrasi. This research was motivated by a plan from the Geological Survey Center, Geological Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2019, which was the need for the availability of GIC Buildings and Interiors specifically for the East Belitung district. The facility will later function as an Information Center regarding the diversity of rock types contained in the earth of Belitung, which will become one of the geotourism destinations. The purpose of this research is to produce an Interior design of the East Belitung GIC that applies the cultural characteristics of Belitung, with a form that combines modern style in Modern Facilities with elements of local culture as a distinctive feature.     The purpose of this research is to know and analyze: (1) Organizational Culture; (2) Work Motivation; (3) Lecturer Performance; and (4) The Influence of Organizational Culture and Work Motivation on the Performance of Management Study Program Lecturers at the University of Persada Indonesia, YAI, both simultaneously and partially. The research method used in this study was a descriptive survey and an explanatory survey. The unit of analysis in this study was a lecturer at the University of Persada Indonesia YAI's Management Study Program with a sample of 41 people. This type of research is causality, and the time span in this study is cross-sectional.Based on the results of the study it was found that the Organizational Culture at the University of Persada Indonesia, YAI, in fact, some lecturers gave quite good responses; Persada Indonesia University Lecturer Work Motivation YES in general it can be said that it is not good; The performance of lecturers at Persada Indonesia University, YES, is currently not good.     Companies are no longer only faced with a single bottom line that centers on financial conditions, but companies must adjust to the triple bottom line concept. One form of environmental responsibility for corporate management for stakeholders and shareholders is by disclosing greenhouse gas emissions. Company value is also a very important factor because it can describe the business processes in a company. A high company value will provide a strong interest for investors to buy shares. An increase in stock prices will also increase the value of a company. This study aims to test and obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of greenhouse gas disclosure, profitability and leverage on firm value. The population of this research is mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014-2018 period. The sample selection in the study using purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the variable of greenhouse gas disclosure and profitability has a significant positive effect on firm value. The leverage variable does not have a significant effect on firm value, this is because the amount of debt held by the company is not a major concern for investors because investors are more concerned with how management uses the debt effectively and efficiently for use in developing the compan
