Data-Driven Approximation of Transfer Operators: Naturally Structured Dynamic Mode Decomposition

In this paper, we provide a new algorithm for the finite dimensional approximation of the linear transfer Koopman and Perron-Frobenius operator from time series data. We argue that existing approach for the finite dimensional approximation of these transfer operators such as Dynamic Mode Decomposition (DMD) and Extended Dynamic Mode Decomposition (EDMD) do not capture two important properties of these operators, namely positivity and Markov property. The algorithm we propose in this paper preserve these two properties. We call the proposed algorithm as naturally structured DMD since it retains the inherent properties of these operators. Naturally structured DMD algorithm leads to a better approximation of the steady-state dynamics of the system regarding computing Koopman and Perron- Frobenius operator eigenfunctions and eigenvalues. However preserving positivity properties is critical for capturing the real transient dynamics of the system. This positivity of the transfer operators and it's finite dimensional approximation also has an important implication on the application of the transfer operator methods for controller and estimator design for nonlinear systems from time series data

Implementation Of Character Education In The Student Council

This study aims to find out about "the implementation of character education in OSIS 1 Pontinak State High School". The method used is descriptive method with qualitative research. The data source of this research is the Student Council Supervisor, student council members and ordinary students who are not student council members. Data collection techniques used were observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation, while the data collection tools used were observation guides, interviews and documentation tools. There are 11 informants in this research. The results showed that the implementation of character education at OSIS Pontianak 1 High School was through student coaching activities that instill character values towards student council members who were realized by the student council through programmed activities. Character values that emerge are religious character values, responsibility, independence, tolerance, social care and environmental care. Evaluation of character education in OSIS Pontianak 1 High School is done by the OSIS Trustees by observing directly the behavior of students in a continuous manner in every planning and implementation activity and behavior of daily students in the school environment

Abstract: The approval of the DPR in the appointment and dismissal of the Chief of Police of the Republic of Indonesia by the President reaps the Pros and Cons of various academics and practitioners of Constitutional Law, is one of the reasons for the writing of this thesis. The type of research in the writing of this thesis is juridical normative with the legal interpretation method used by the author is the grammatical, functional and systematic interpretation of the mechanism for the appointment and dismissal of the Police Chief of the Republic of Indonesia so that it can be seen how the considerations of the forming of Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Indonesian National Police in The appointment of the Police Chief of the Republic of Indonesia must obtain the approval of the DPR and to find out how Siyasah views the appointment and dismissal of the National Police Chief. Based on the research results, the mechanism for the appointment and dismissal of the Chief of Police is the authority of the President after obtaining approval from the DPR. Whereas in the Siyasah Fiqh the process of appointing and dismissing the Police Chief (Shahib asy-Syurthah) is directly appointed by the caliph / head of the State without any interference from other institutions.Keywords: Police Chief Appointment; DPR approval; Fiqh Siyasah

Analisis Kepuasan Pelanggan Menggunakan Algoritma C4.5

Gas Lpg merupakan  bahan bakar  yang ditetapkan pemerintah  dan  didistribusikan oleh oleh pangkalan untuk disalurkan kepada masyarakat, yang terkadang belum mengetahui tingkat kepuasan para pelanggan. Berdasarkan data yang di analisis pada tingkat kepuasan pelanggan dapat di ambil atribut berupa pelayanan, fasilitas dan kualitas produk yang dijual. Pada pangkalan Gas Elpiji 3kg Darmawati membutuhkan sistem analisis untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan para pelanggan. Analisis sistem yang dibuat menggunakan bahasa pemrograman visual basic 2010 dan metode yang digunakan yaitu Algoritma C4.5. Teknik pengambilan data yang didapat menggunakan metodologi observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Tahapan dalam sistem kepuasan dengan metode algoritma C4.5 yaitu pengambilan data pelanggan dan data atribut dari kuisioner, perhitungan nilai entropy dan gain, serta hasil kepuasan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kuisioner yang dibagikan kepada 20 pelanggan terdapat 15 pelanggan dengan hasil puas dan 5 pelanggan dengan hasil tidak puas. Effect of Work Movements, Job Promotion, and Compensation towards Employee Performance

The role of human resources has a critical and strategic position in the organization to achieve goals. Human resources are essential for companies in managing and utilizing employees to function productively to achieve company goals. This study's objectives are to analyze and provide empirical evidence on the effect of work movements, job promotion, and compensation on employee performance at the Ibnu Sina Simpang Empat Islamic Hospital. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. This study's population was all Islamic Hospital Ibnu Sina Simpang Empat, totaling 239 employees, and the final sample counted as many as 150 employees. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. This research aims to analyze and provide empirical evidence on work movements, job promotion, and compensation on employee performance at the Ibnu Sina Simpang Empat Islamic Hospital, Pasaman Barat, Sumatera Barat with yields as follows: (1) Work Movements is not affect employee performance significantly. (2) Job Promotion is affecting employee performance significantly. (3) Compensation is affecting employee performance significantly. (4) Work Movements, Job Promotion, and Compensation is affecting employee performance simultaneously. Work Movements, Job Promotion, and Compensation to employee performance variables have contributed a level of strength, i.e., 52,6 percent

Advances in the management of HPV-related oropharyngeal cancer

Patients with human papillomavirus- (HPV-) related oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) have a better prognosis than HPV-negative OPSCC when treated with standard high-dose cisplatin-based chemoradiotherapy. Consistent with this assertion and due to younger age at diagnosis, novel approaches tominimize treatment sequelaewhile preserving survival outcomes become of paramount importance. Here, we critically reviewed the evidence-based literature supporting the deintensification strategies in HPV-related OPSCC management, including radiotherapy dose and/or volume reduction, replacement of cisplatin radiosensitising chemotherapy, and the use of transoral surgery. Undoubtedly, further researches are needed before changing the standard of care in this setting of patients

Clinical significance of epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition in laryngeal carcinoma: Its role in the different subsites

Background: During epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, cancer cells lose adhesion capacity gaining migratory properties. The role of the process on prognosis has been evaluated in 50 cases of laryngeal carcinoma. Methods: E-cadherin, N-cadherin, β-catenin, α-catenin, γ-catenin, caveolin-1, and vimentin immunohistochemical expression were evaluated using a double score based on staining intensity and cellular localization. Results: Cytoplasmic E-cadherin and α/γ catenin staining were associated with a decrease in survival, cytoplasmic β-catenin was associated with advanced stage, and N-cadherin and vimentin expression were associated with poor differentiation and tumor relapse. On the basis of cancer cells, epithelial or mesenchymal morphological and immunophenotypic similarity we identified 4 main subgroups correlated with a transition to a more undifferentiated phenotype, which have a different pattern of relapse and survival. Conclusion: The negative prognostic role of epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition has been confirmed and a predictive role in glottic tumors has been suggested, leading us to propose epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition as an additional adverse feature in laryngeal carcinoma

Strength of Fiduciary Deed in the Implementation of Bad Credit Execution by Financial Institutions

As a result of a Fiduciary Guarantee that is not made a fiduciary certificate or in authentic form before a Notary Public, the Fiduciary Guarantee object has no immediate execution rights. When there is default or congestion from the consumer, the financial institution cannot execute the object of the guarantee. Financial institutions actually execute unilaterally without going through relevant government agencies and based on applicable laws. The making of a fiduciary deed by a notary is carried out through two stages in accordance with Law Number 42 of 1999 Concerning fiduciary guarantees, namely through the stages of loading and registration. Charges with fiduciary guarantees are made with a notarial deed, the notary is required to make a fiduciary guarantee deed by taking into account the procedure for loading, loading fees and the period of loading. After the fiduciary guarantee deed has been signed by the parties concerned, after that the registration of the fiduciary deed will be registered at the fiduciary registration office. As a result, the strength of the fiduciary deed made by a notary setting the position of the fiduciary deed and the role of the notary in making fiduciary deed. 1) Law Number 42 of 1999 concerning Fiduciary Guarantee states that the person authorized to make a Fiduciary Deed is a notary, while Article 17 of Law Number 2 of 2014 amendments to Law Number 30 of 2004 concerning Notary Position stipulates that the Notary Public is only authorized to make an authentic deed in the jurisdiction or jurisdiction.Obstacles in the settlement of bad debts, namely the existence of resistance by the debtor against the execution auction plan that does not have a clear legal basis, because it is only based on unilateral recognition without proof or acknowledgment from the Debtor.
