Design of a Wideband Inductively Coupled Loop Feed Patch Antenna for UHF RFID Tag

A planar wideband patch antenna for ultra-high frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) tag for metallic applications is presented in this research work. Three different shape patches are inductively coupled to a triangle loop to form wide impedance bandwidth for universal application UHF (860-960 MHz) RFID. The structure of proposed antenna exhibits planar profile to provide ease of fabrication for cost reduction well suited for mass production. The simulation of the antenna was carried out using Finite Element Method (FEM) based software, Ansoft HFSS v13. The simulated and measured impedance bandwidth of 113 MHz and 117 MHz (Return Loss≥6 dB) were achieved to cover the entire UHF RFID operating frequency band worldwide. The simulated and measured radiation patterns at the operating frequency of 915 MHz are in good agreement. Moreover the simulated minimum antenna gain at the bore sight direction in free space and when mounted on 200 x 200 mm2 metal plate are -15 dBi and -14dBi respectively which is enough to provide reasonable read range over the entire UHF RFID system operating band

Religious Social Movement (Social Construction Hizb Against Religious Relations with States)

Modernization engenders secularism into a journey of historical facts of modern western society. The phenomenon that will be the object of research is Hizb ut-tahrir that positioned itself as an organization supporting the Islamic Khilafat movement with ideological-political nature. From the point of sociology of religious movements, the Hizb ut-tahrir develop patterns of social interaction is tension conflict limit. Therefore the theory of Social Construction of the primary analysis used a knife to dissect how far the perception of members of Hizb ut tahrir about the concept of religion and the state as the primary domain of qualitative research affects their interaction with the community in order to bring public awareness that the caliphate is a solution to solve the problem in Indonesia.This study aims to (1) Reveal patterns and strategies of religious social movements particularly with regard to the relationship between religion and state by Hizb ut tahrir. (2) Reveal the meaning and attitude of members of Hizb ut-tahrir (3) Disclose organization Hizb ut tahrir social interaction. This study used qualitative research methods with phenomenological approach. Location research is devoted to the area of Makassar. As for the study using data gathered by in-depth interviews.The findings of this study indicate that (1) Hizb ut-tahrir referring to the typical ideological discourse of religion relations with countries where Hizb ut tahrir have a basic view that religion must be the basis of a country's concept of the Islamic caliphate. While the pattern and strategy of the movement Hizb ut-tahrir with socialization and infiltrate the student organizations, community and religious figures about the concept of the Islamic Caliphate (2) Meaning and attitude members of Hizb ut-tahrir against religious militancy social movement which is very strong by a very high social cohesiveness (3) social relationships built with other group Hizb ut tahrir built intense, because the foundation of the Islamic caliphate that realization would not be established without the support of all parties. . Construction theoretical propositions based on this research have the character irreversible linkage with type determinant. Thus the argument is found (1) A religious social movements are determined by ideology or perspective adopted by a religious organization (2) ideology based on religion-state relations will bind members of the group in an ideological attachment, cognitive, emotional and social strong (3) Institute of ideological, cognitive, emotional and strong social cohesion will lead to high militancy and for its members to realizing these ideals contained in ideology. Scalable and Cost Efficient Algorithms for Virtual CDN Migration

Virtual Content Delivery Network (vCDN) migration is necessary to optimize the use of resources and improve the performance of the overall SDN/NFV-based CDN function in terms of network operator cost reduction and high streaming quality. It requires intelligent and enticed joint SDN/NFV migration algorithms due to the evident huge amount of traffic to be delivered to end customers of the network. In this paper, two approaches for finding the optimal and near optimal path placement(s) and vCDN migration(s) are proposed (OPAC and HPAC). Moreover, several scenarios are considered to quantify the OPAC and HPAC behaviors and to compare their efficiency in terms of migration cost, migration time, vCDN replication number, and other cost factors. Then, they are implemented and evaluated under different network scales. Finally, the proposed algorithms are integrated in an SDN/NFV framework. La ciencia de la cultura: implicaciones para las investigaciones de las Ciencias Sociales en el fenómeno africano contemporáneo

Este artículo discute la cultura como una unidad de análisis dentro de la investigación en las ciencias sociales y su tratamiento más sistemático como un modelo dinámico e idiosincrático para el desarrollo humano, modelo cuya disposición lógica de axiomas interpretativos de “estructuras profundas” cosmológicas y ontológicas (axiomas de existencia para la organización colectiva y su funcionamiento) configura el objetivo y la naturaleza de conductas y praxis sociales abiertas (incluyendo símbolos, lengua, costumbres) e informa un plan general de vida que guía el comportamiento individual y las prácticas colectivas. Este enfoque conductista permite una rica elaboración de la cultura aclarando sus fundamentos cosmológicos, ontológicos y psicológicos, y las influencias en su naturaleza y papel en la formación, organización y funcionamiento de conglomerados humanos. Además, ofrece un examen de las implicaciones teóricas para la estabilidad social en axiomas antitéticos de estructura profunda, los cuales fragmentan una previa existencia social teleológica dentro de un arreglo de símbolos y rituales sociales fragmentarios lista para la cosificación. Y, a través de ello, se propone cómo el fenómeno contemporáneo de la globalización –y el paradigma económico neoclásico que lo sustenta—engendra un modelo de la realidad y del vivir idiosincrático basado en lo económico, modelo que no es ni una conceptualización humana comúnmente compartida, ni un objetivo universal deseado.Abstract: This paper discusses culture as a unit of analysis within social science inquiry, and its more systematic treatment as a dynamic, idiosyncratic model for human development; one whose logical arrangement of interpretative “deep structural” cosmological and ontological axioms of existence for collective organization and functioning configures the scope and nature of overt social behaviors and praxes (including symbols, language, customs) and informs a general plan for living that guides individual behavior and group praxes. This behavioral approach allows for a richer elaboration of culture by clarifying its cosmological, ontological, and psychological foundations and influences on its nature and role in the formation, organization and functioning of human aggregates. In addition, it offers an examination of the theoretical implications for social stability of antithetical deep structural axioms that fragments an erstwhile teleological social existence into an assortment of disjointed cultural symbols and rituals ripe for commodification. And, through it, the contemporary phenomenon of globalization -- and the neoclassical economic paradigm that grounds it -- is found to engender an idiosyncratic, market-based model of reality and for living that is neither a commonly shared human conceptualization nor universally desired pursuit
