La psychophysique appliquée à la clinique avec les humains peuvent fournir d'autres outils pour faciliter l'accès à l'objectif et quantifiable conditions internes du patient, qui ne pouvaient être obtenus autrement, à travers leurs récits et descriptions. Un exemple de ce partenariat et la mise en œuvre de psychophysique est l'unité commerciale C-Quant (Oculus Optikgeräte, Allemagne), dont la psychophysique méthode d'accès à la valeur de la diffusion de la lumière dans la rétine a été développé par le groupe de chercheurs néerlandais mené par le prof. Dr. Thomas van den Berg, Pays-Bas Institut de Neuroscience (NIN). L'accès à la quantité de diffusion de la lumière dans la rétine est utile pour le diagnostic de diverses maladies oculaires comme la cataracte. 　森で遊ぶ幼児は，自然物の中でも木の枝によく触れて遊ぶ。幼児は，枝を持ち，加工し，どのような，表現を生みだすのかを行動記録を手がかりに整理した。特に，道具を使い，枝を持つ対象児における手の動きの表しや，なぜそうするのかに着目して，考察を加えた。　枝に触れて，「いじる」だけの対象児の動きの記録からは，何かをつくろうとする遊びの出発点と想定できるのではないかと分析ができる。また，その時点で別の遊びをする他児による言葉の響きや，侍ごっこの勇壮な視覚情報が森のあちこちにあり，枯れ葉の斜面を勢いにまかせて走る足音や，ブランコを揺らして幼児同志がかかわる声や歓声の聴覚情報といった，様々な感覚情報が集まる。そこから対象児は，遊びの方向性を見出し，目的を生みだす。しばらくすると，対象児は内なる気持ちを，枝を叩く音で表し，自分で決めた目的をつぶやき言葉にする。この他に，対象児は，これまで人とのかかわりが多くはなかった他者への伝達を行うといった行為や，つくる目的に向かう対象児なりの身体の多様な動きが見られることなど，素朴ではあるが数分前とは違う対象児の変容を確認することができた

Impact of health concepts on healthcare-seeking practices of low-income population in South Coast of Bahia, Brazil / Impacto dos conceitos de saúde nas práticas de busca de atenção à saúde da população de baixa renda no litoral sul da Bahia, Brasil

Objective: By using geospatial and social perspectives, this paper aimed to show the most prevalent health self-concepts among inhabitants living near a specific community health centre in South Bahia, Brazil, in order to investigate the importance of social determinants and the association between health concepts and self-care habits. Methodology: A descriptive research based on the quantitative approach of using qualitative variables was carried out by using Chi-square and Cramer's V tests. A semi-structured questionnaire was administered to participants (N= 501) with geographic coordinates recorded for geospatial analysis. Results: The most prevalent health concepts were the positive and the most addressed care habits were of those in the ‘common sense’ category (p = 0.01). The associations with health concepts were considered statistically significant in terms of age (p = 0.001), level of education (p = 0.0004), and household income (p = 0.0125), and an additional criterion of presence or absence of any disease (p = 0.001). The majority of participants (n=323, CI 122–460 p<0.001) reported they have known the precise location of the community healthcare unit. However, those who lived a greater distance from the unit were unaware of its location. Conclusions: Our results on geospatial analysis corroborate the importance of space planning as an additional social framework for measuring the performance of health policy. Our findings suggest that a more structured and better planning based on health self-concepts and of health service promotion could drive effective strategies that would promote health outcomes in the low- and middle-income communities

Psychophysical Measurements of Luminance Contrast Sensitivity and Color Discrimination with Transparent and Blue-Light Filter Intraocular Lenses

The purpose of this study was to measure luminance contrast sensitivity and color vision thresholdfs in normal subjects using a blue light filter lens and transparent intraocular lens material. Monocular luminance grating contrast sensitivity was measured with Psycho for Windows (version 2.36; Cambridge Research Systems) at 3.0, 6.0, 12.0, 20.0, and 30.0 cycles per degree of visual angle (cpd) in 15 normal subjects (eight female), with a mean age of 21.6 years (SD = 3.8 years). Chromatic discrimination was assessed with the Cambridge colour test (CCT) along the protan, deutan, and tritan color confusion axes. Both tests were performed in a darkened room under two situations: with a transparent lens and with blue light filter lens. Subjective impressions were taken by subjects regarding their visual experience under both conditions. No difference was found between the luminance contrast sensitivity measured with transparent and blue light filter. However, 13/15 (87%) of the subjects reported more comfortable vision with the blue filter. In the color vision test, tritan thresholds were significantly higher for the blue filter compared with the transparent filter (p = 0.003). For protan and deutan thresholds no differences were found. Blue-yellow color vision is impaired with the blue light filter, and no impairment occurs with the transparent filter. No significant differences in thresholds were found in the luminance contrast sensitivity comparing the blue light and transparent filters. Facilidades e dificuldades das enfermeiras gerentes na implementação da gerência do cuidado no ambiente hospitalar Facilities managers and difficulties of nurses in the implementation of environmental management of care hospital

Objetivo: Analisar as facilidades e dificuldades das enfermeiras gerentes na implementação da gerência do cuidado no ambiente hospitalar. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa realizado no período de outubro a novembro de 2012, em um hospital público de nível terciário da cidade de Fortaleza-CE. A coleta de dados foi feita através de entrevista semiestruturada, a técnica utilizada para a interpretação dos dados foi à análise de conteúdo. Resultados: Foram encontrados como fatores facilitadores no desenvolvimento da gerência do cuidado o apoio da líder do setor de enfermagem do hospital e a relação dialética entre os membros da equipe. Como fatores impeditivos observaram-se a estrutura física do hospital e a falta de pessoal.  Conclusão: O estudo busca sensibilizar a discussão sobre a gerência do cuidado, pois a articulação entre as atividades gerenciais e de cuidado, é importante para inovação e renovação do processo de trabalho do enfermeiro

A prática do sujeito ou o sujeito da prática? Uma abordagem psicanalítica da formação de professores

Se concordarmos que há uma certa circularidade na produção teórica no que concerne à formação de professores, não seria demais considerar que precisamos de novas chaves de leitura para interrogar não só a prática do sujeito, como também o sujeito da prática. Numa lógica retilínea, a formação do professor passa por abordagens pedagógicas que consideram a atividade docente como um processo centrado apenas nos aspectos técnicos, didáticos, instrumentais e racionais ligados ao exercício de um saber-fazer profissional. Entretanto, os elementos teóricos e técnicos se mostram insuficientes para fundamentar a ações subjetivas dos sujeitos. Temos presenciado nos cursos de formação e nas salas de aula, o desinteresse, a apatia, as inibições de aprendizagem de professores e alunos nas situações de ensino. Neste artigo, pretendemos discutir as questões: O que é isso do professor que escapa aos processos formativos? Que saídas o professor encontra quando propostas idealizadas não se cumprem? Tendo como referencial teórico e prático a Psicanálise, abordaremos o desenvolvimento profissional, a partir de uma análise das dimensões psicanalíticas do desejo de ensinar, da relação educativa, da relação com o poder e com o saber. Para tanto, trabalhamos com o Método Clínico de investigação-intervenção, que opera com os processos psíquicos, na maioria, inconscientes, nas situações profissionais estudadas. Women's feelings about the changes caused by mastectomy

Objective: to analyze the feelings of women in a support group for the changes caused by mastectomy. Method: descriptive study with a qualitative approach, performed in a support group for women with mastectomies in Cajazeiras, in the state of Paraíba, Brazil, in June and July 2014, with 20 subjects. It was used a semi-structured interview for data collection. The analysis was performed using the methodological process of the Collective Subject Discourse. Results: it was evident that women have adopted a unique way of face the breast cancer varying between negative feelings, concern about a move away from their children, closer spirituality and natural acceptance of the disease. Conclusions: importantly, from the understanding of these feelings, the nurse can build an appropriate care plan for the health needs of this target audience, thus providing a more efficient, effective and humane action
