    Investigation of the Heating Processes and Temperature Field of the Frequency-controlled Asynchronous Engine Based on Mathematical Models

    The study of the temperature field of the engine for non-stationary modes is done. A numerical simulation of a non-stationary thermal process using dynamic EHD, the characteristic of the rate of rise of temperatures is done. An increase in the temperature of individual parts in the idle interval, when the power of heat release is significantly reduced, is established, and the reverse of the heat flow through the air gap is established. It is shown that the EHD method, in contrast to the FEM, is self-sufficient, which determines its practical value.     Deep neural networks have achieved great success in controlled learning problems, and MIL as a typical poorly controlled learning method is effective for many applications in computer vision, biometrics, natural language processing, etc. In this article, we review several neural networks with multiple instances ( MINN), which neural networks seek to solve MIL problems. MINNs perform MILs in the end, which take bags with different numbers of instances as input and directly output the tags of the bags. All parameters in MINN can be optimized by back propagation. In addition to revising old MINNs, we offer a new type of MINN for exploring bag representations, which differs from existing MINNs that focus on the evaluation of an instance label. In addition, recent tricks developed in deep learning have been studied in MINN; we find that deep supervision is effective for a better understanding of bag views. In experiments, the proposed MINNs achieve the most advanced or competitive performance on several MIL tests. Moreover, for testing and learning it is very fast, for example, it takes only 0.0.0 03 s to predict the bag and a few seconds to learn on the MIL datasets on a moderate processor. Initially, several instances (MILs) were proposed to predict bounce activity [1]. Now it is widely applied to many domains and is an important problem in computer training. Many multimedia data have a multiplier (MI) structure; For example, a text article contains several paragraphs, the image can be divided into several local areas, and gene expression data contains several genes.     A central issue in psychiatric genetics is whether positive findings replicate. Zubenko et al. (2002b, Mol. Psychiatry 7:460-467) reported an association of the 124-bp allele of D2S2944 with recurrent early-onset major depression for females. We tested for association of this allele to continuous measures of anxiety, depression and neuroticism in a Dutch sample of 347 males and 448 females, and to DSM-IV major depression in a subsample of 210 males and 295 females. The association of the 124-bp allele to depression in females was not replicated, but there were significant associations (not significant after correction for multiple testing) with anxiety and anxious depression in males. However, the association occurred in the absence of evidence for linkage in this region on chromosome 2. © 2006 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc

    Yeast axial-element protein, Red1, binds SUMO chains to promote meiotic interhomologue recombination and chromosome synapsis

    The synaptonemal complex (SC) is a tripartite protein structure consisting of two parallel axial elements (AEs) and a central region. During meiosis, the SC connects paired homologous chromosomes, promoting interhomologue (IH) recombination. Here, we report that, like the CE component Zip1, Saccharomyces cerevisiae axial-element structural protein, Red1, can bind small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) polymeric chains. The Red1–SUMO chain interaction is dispensable for the initiation of meiotic DNA recombination, but it is essential for Tel1- and Mec1-dependent Hop1 phosphorylation, which ensures IH recombination by preventing the inter-sister chromatid DNA repair pathway. Our results also indicate that Red1 and Zip1 may directly sandwich the SUMO chains to mediate SC assembly. We suggest that Red1 and SUMO chains function together to couple homologous recombination and Mec1–Tel1 kinase activation with chromosome synapsis during yeast meiosis

    Most analytical methods in metabolomics allow determination of relative intensities or require several internal standards of metabolites. For quantitative analysis, determination of absolute concentrations is required. For this purpose, the gas chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry methods are used, based on methyl chloroformate derivatization and quantification by spiking samples with metabolite standards separately derivatized with deuterated derivatization reagents. Described herein is the synthesis of deuterated methyl chloroformate – the reagent for absolute quantitative metabolite analysis by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The method allows preparation and isolation of deuteromethylchloroformate with high yields.Большинство аналитических методов метаболомики позволяют определить относительное содержание метаболитов в биологических образцах, либо требуют использования нескольких внутренних стандартов. Для количественного определения метаболитов необходимо определение абсолютных концентраций. Для этих целей применяютсягазохроматографические методы разделения продуктов взаимодействия метаболитов с метилхлорформиатом и их масс-детекция с использованием дейтерированных аналогов в качестве внутренних стандартов. Нами синтезирован дейтерированный метилхлорформиат – реагент для абсолютного количественного метаболомического анализа на основе газовой хроматографии с масс-детекцией.     Hyperphosphorylated tau in young and middle-aged subjects

    The brain tissue obtained from ninety-five cognitively unimpaired subjects, with ages ranging from 22 to 50 years upon death, were immunohistochemically assessed for neurodegenerative changes, i.e., hyperphosphorylated tau (HPτ) and β-amyloid (Aβ) pathology in predilection neuroanatomical areas. HPτ pathology was observed in the transentorhinal cortex and/or the locus coeruleus (LC) in 33% of the subjects, without any obvious risk factors known to alter the microtubule-associated protein. HPτ pathology was noted in the LC in 25 out of 83 subjects (30%), lacking concomitant cortical Aβ or transentorhinal HPτ pathology. This observation was present even when assessing only one routine section of 7 μm thickness. The recent suggestion of prion-like propagation of neurodegeneration and the finding of neurodegeneration being quite common in middle-aged persons is alarming. It is noteworthy, however, that a substantial number of neurologically unimpaired subjects even at a very old age display only sparse to modest extent of neurodegenerative pathology. Thus, only a subset of subjects with neurodegenerative changes early in life seem to progress to a symptomatic disease with ageing. This observation brings forth the notion that other, yet unknown modifying factors influence the progression of degeneration that leads to a symptomatic disorder. The known association between alterations in the LC and mood disorders, and the finding of the LC being frequently affected with HPτ pathology suggest that clinicopathological studies on young subjects both with or without mood disorders are warranted
