For an aim to prevent Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a candidate recombinant vaccine has been developed. This vaccine – (RPV) was based on two protective proteins of P. aeruginosa: the outer membrane protein F (OprF) and the recombinant truncated form of the Exotoxin A (toxoid) that were adsorbed on the aluminum hydroxide. The optimal immunization schedule for mice included two intraperitoneal administrations with a two-week interval. RPV promoted to increase survival rates in challenged immunized mice and stimulated humoral and innate immune responses. During preclinical studies, we confirmed the immunogenicity of the vaccine that had not pyrogenicity, acute and chronic toxicity, allergenicity and immunotoxicity. Keywords: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, outer membrane protein F (OprF), toxoid, Pseudomonas Recombinant Vaccine (PRV

The paper discusses the urgent problem of secondary vocational school teachers’ readiness to solve the problems of vocational education on the basis of four main labor functions allocated in the professional standard “Vocational School Teacher, Vocational Education and Supple-mentary Vocational Education”. Based on the analysis of Professional standard we singled out 37 parameters, which describe the level of the duties performance. This pedagogical research revealed that the absence of pedagogical education my cause a teacher serious problems. Most of the problems arise because of poor knowledge of modern learning technologies: modular training, case method, problem-based and project technologiesВ статье авторы обращаются к актуальной проблеме измерения уровня сформированности у преподавателей СПО, не имеющих профессионально-педагогического образования, готовности к решению задач профессионального обучения на основе выделенных в профессиональном стандарте «Педагог профессионального обучения, профессионального образования и дополнительного профессионального образования» четырьмя трудовыми функциями.

The aim of the paper is to develop a model of changes in morphological characteristics of young males and females body structure at the beginning of the 21st century. For this purpose the results of Moscow students’ annual screenings from 2000 to 2018 were analyzed (total number of 17–18-year-olds − 6,433 individuals). As a result, five factors describing the trends of changes were revealed and further analysis demonstrated variants of their values over time. An original model was developed, which reflected real morphological transformations in the body parameters of the young generation for the last 20 years. For both sex groups a trend towards macrosomia (gr. macros − big, soma- body) was revealed. For the boys some increase in linear traits was found with a decrease in muscularity. In girls, parabolic association between athletic characteristics and the year of investigation was found: the decrease in muscularity for the first decade, and its increase for the second one

The article describes the clinical case of TB/HIV coinfection in the pregnant woman and newborn. The discussion of the management tactics included main issues on which treatment success depended on: the right choice of chemotherapy regimen, correct decision on the time of delivery due to life-threatening conditions of the mother, timely diagnostics of tuberculosis in the newborn. It is necessary to develop cross-disciplinary guidelines by professional medical communities on the management of pregnant women with TB/HIV coinfection which will allow enhancing the quality of medical care to pregnant women and newborns at all stages of follow-up

© 2018 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group. Cephalopods are an important, abundant and taxonomically diverse component of the bathypelagic realm. However, their biology, ecology and distribution are poorly known. Specimens of Mastigoteuthis agassizii (Mastigoteuthidae) have been captured in the southern part of the Denmark Strait, which is at approximately 65°N. This site is approximately 550 km north of the previously most northern known border of the Mastigoteuthidae range. The main goal of this paper is to provide an extended morphological description and biological analysis of M. agassizii, the first species of the Mastigoteuthidae caught in the Subarctic Atlantic. Despite sample collection at 534 deep-water stations in the area, only two specimens were captured, indicating the rarity of this species in the northern part of its range. We suggest that the typical range of this species is bathyal depths throughout the North Atlantic to the Subarctic, but not through the Denmark and Davis Straits to the Arctic. These findings coincide with the geographic border of the Northern Atlantic boreal bathyal province, which is warmer and more saline compared to the Arctic province further to the north. We also provide the first descriptions of the radula and reproductive system of M. agassizii. The female had synchronous ovulation, fecundity of approximately 23,000 oocytes, oocyte resorption having not been found, most likely due to the early maturity stage of the female. The males, as proven by our sample and additional photo in other source, were found to have the distal part of the penis enlarged, divided into two valves and pigmented, possibly indicating they can protrude outside the mantle cavity. This enlarged valved part, as it is supposed in the literature for other deep-water squid families having it, may be used as an analogue to the lacking hectocotylus

Some properties of lithium-indium complex phosphates in the previously investigated Li3PO4-Na3PO4-InPO4 ternary system were studied. Ionic conductivity of isolated phases at 300ºC was measured. Vibration spectra of the investigated compounds were registered for 6Li → 7Li substituted samples from 1400 to 200 cm-1 frequency range. Isotope shifts under 6Li → 7Li substitution were observed for all the complex phosphates. The obtained results allowed to reveal intrinsic lithium sublattice vibration and to relate complex phosphates structure to ionic conductivity magnitude.
