    Pengaplikasian 12 Prinsip Animasi Disney dan Motion Capture dalam Animasi “Gob And Friends”

    Di Surabaya terdapat studio yang memproduksi animasi bernama Hompimpa Animation Studio yang dilengkapi dengan teknologi motion capture untuk membatu proses produksi animasi. Animasi yang diproduksi oleh studio ini salah satunya adalah Gob and Friends. Serial animasi Gob and Friends merupakan serial animasi untuk anak-anak bergenre komedi. Gob and Friends pernah mendapatkan penghargaan dari Indonesian Film Trailer Awards (IFTA) pada tahun 2015. Animasi tersebut meraih dua penghargaan dalam ajang bergengsi tersebut. Penghargaan yang diraih antara lain sebagai Best Project Trailer dan Audience Favorite. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan proses pembuatan, karakteristik, dan pengaplikasian 12 prinsip animasi Disney  dengan motion capture dalam proses produksi animasi Gob and Friends.  Penelitian ini menjawab hubungan antara 12 prinsip animasi Disney yang telah menjadi acuan bagi sebagian besar animator dengan Animasi lokal asal Surabaya yang berjudul Gob and Friends dengan perangkat motion capture menggunakan kaidah yang terdapat dalam metode penelitian.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik dan proses dalam memproduksi animasi Gob and Friends, kemudian mencari relasi serta relevansi dengan 12 prinsip animasi Disney dan motion capture dengan mengumpulkan data-data dari Hompimpa Animation Studio sebagai kreator dari animasi Gob and Friends. Hasil dari penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang karakteristik visual delapan tokoh utama Gob and Friends. Animasi Gob and Friends  menjadikan 12 prinsip animasi Disney sebagai fundamental dalam proses produksi. Prinsip tersebut dikombinasikan dengan perangkat motion capture untuk produksi yang lebih cepat dan efisien. Karakteristik visual Gob and Friends dibuat dengan gaya kartun dengan visualisasi lingkungan khas Indonesia. Pengaplikasian 12 Prinsip animasi Disney dan motion capture yang saling terintegrasi dan saling mendukung membuat Hompimpa Animation Studio mampu membuat dengan kualitas gerakan yang baik dengan waktu yang relatif cepat.   Kata Kunci : Animasi, Motion Capture, Surabaya &nbsp

The management of community-based forests called PHBM (in forest management with the community) is management with cooperation between villagers forest (MDH) with kph perhutani. This research mendiskripsikan about how partnership yamg interwoven and supporting factors and inhibitors of between KPH Perhutani and LMDH. This research using methods qualitative. Collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. This data obtained by involving parties KPH Perhutani, asper boyolangu, the office of a village Jengglungharjo, and LMDH. Analysis of data on the model of interactive Miles Huberman. The result showed that the partnership, which occurs not run well prove to be wood, still the occurrence of a burglary the use of land, Public participation are still not enough, and still the people who disagree with the agreement of the partnership.     THE APPLICATION OF CONSTRAINT PROPAGATION TECHNIQUE FOR CONCEPTUAL AIRCRAFT DESIGN

    In conceptual aircraft design phase, the aircraft configuration and several design variables are frequently changed and starting points are depended on any most probable design conditions. Therefore, it is required a design tool having flexibility to response to different starting points. The implementation of the constraint propagation supported by an object-oriented programming could result in a computer application that considerably accommodates the need of flexibilities.  Moreover, the implementation of some graphical user-interfaces and filter are not only to make it become user-friendly but also it may perform good filters to validate all inputs from the user. Use case diagram and class diagram are utilized as tools for designing the computer application using Microsoft Visual C++ 6. For a case study, some relations of basic aircraft geometry are implemented by selecting the six constraints and fourteen design variables. The result of this work shows that the application of constraint propagation is right and proper to handle any frequent changes during the conceptual design phase

    Oral Cancer Awareness and its Determinants among a Selected Malaysian Population

    Objective: To assess oral cancer awareness, its associated factors and related sources of information among a selected group of Malaysians. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted on all Malaysian ethnic groups aged >= 15 years old at eight strategically chosen shopping malls within a two week time period. Data were analysed using chi-square tests and multiple logistic regression. Significance level was set at alpha<0.05. Results: Most (84.2%) respondents had heard of oral cancer. Smoking was the most (92.4%) recognized high risk habit. Similar levels of awareness were seen for unhealed ulcers (57.3%) and red/white patches (58.0%) as signs of oral cancer. Age, gender, ethnicity, marital status, education, occupation and income were significantly associated with oral cancer awareness (p<0.05). Conclusions: There was a general lack of awareness regarding the risk habits, early signs and symptoms, and the benefits of detecting this disease at an early stage. Mass media and health campaigns were the main sources of information about oral cancer. In our Malaysian population, gender and age were significantly associated with the awareness of early signs and symptoms and prevention of oral cancer, respectively.Article Link: http://koreascience.or.kr/article/ArticleFullRecord.jsp?cn=POCPA9_2013_v14n3_195

    A noninvasive molecular approach: exploiting species-locus-specific PCR primers in defeating numts and DNA cross-contamination of cercopithecidae

    The lack of a standardized, noninvasive molecular approach to studying genetic aspects of primates has made it hard for primatologists to decode the evolutionary history of these species. Researchers must optimize their own techniques to fully exploit the available samples. Lack of species-locus-specific primers also contributes to difficulties in using noninvasive genetic samples. Thus, the objectives of this study were to develop a standardized technique to collecting samples noninvasively, propose newly designed species-locus-specific primers, and optimize conditions for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for Macaca fascicularis, M. nemestrina, Trachypithecus cristatus, and T. obscurus. Nine new species-locus-specific primers for three different loci of mitochondrial DNA, namely D-loop, cytochrome oxidase subunit I (COI), and cytochrome b, were successfully designed. These primers proved to be efficient in amplifying larger datasets (up to ~1,000 bp) of the targeted species in the optimized PCR conditions. The species-locus-specific primers are able to anneal to host DNA alone in highly contaminated feces of highlighted species. They can also offer alternatives measures in avoiding contamination related to nuclear insertion of mitochondrial pseudogenes (numts)

    The purpose of the research is to know about political communication ethics in a demonstration. Political communication ethics is one of the efforts to prevent anarchic actions in demonstrations. In a demonstration, there are ways of expressing opinions to understand. Anarchic demonstrations can cause the goal of the demonstration not to be achieved. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. In this research, researchers use data analysis to explain political communication ethics in the demonstration in Indonesia. The results of this study show that in political communication ethics there is politeness. Therefore, demonstrating is required to understand ethics in expressing opinions. This political ethic is influenced by social, cultural, political, and economic factors developed in society. An ethical demonstration can lead to the achievement of the objectives of the demonstration. The result of this research's discussion is that political communication ethics adhere to politeness, so that political communication ethics requires political communication actors to understand the social, cultural, political, and economic influences on political communication. By understanding the ethics of political communication, it will create a peaceful demonstration

Therefore the improvement for both quantity and quality are not only the responsibility of the Institutions of Skill Service Provider. On the contrary, the supervision of Construction Service Experts implementation in the field must receive appreciation and commitment from the Local Construction Agents, with support of good plans from the the Regulator. Challenges of the fulfillment of worker demands of construction service industry must be viewed from the context of regulation, through the aspects of law, policy, infrastructure, as well as the Construction Management itself. Thus a holistic evaluation study toward the projection of the number of workers and the existence quality in construction service industry in South Kalimantan is obtained

    The overall purpose of this study aims to describe and analyze the compensation and school organizational climate on job satisfaction of teachers Madrasah Aliyah in Bandung Barat. study reason to reveal important aspects related to job satisfaction of teachers who are directly affected by compensation and school organizational climate. The result is expected to benefit both practically and teoretis.Metode used in this research is survey method with quantitative approach. Data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The subjects were sampled Madrasah Aliyah is non-civil servant teachers who are in the neighborhood Bandung Barat. Finding study showed that the general picture variable compensation at Bandung Barat in fairly good condition. As for school organizational climate variables and variable job satisfaction. Simultaneously, compensation and organizational climate and significant positive impact on job satisfaction of teachers. This proves that the compensation and organizational climate on job satisfaction of teachers Madrasah Aliyah in Bandung Barat which has a positive determination

    DEVELOPMENT OF AUTO-GENERATING AERODYNAMIC LOADS FOR WING-BOX FINITE ELEMENT MODEL BASED ON SCHRENK METHOD

    This paper describes the development of computer application for computing the wing lift distribution and auto-locating each sectional lift force to the appropriate nodes of wing-box finite element model (FEM). In Catia-V5 environment, Visual Basic .Net is intensively utilized to access several Catia's Component Object Models (COMs) by implementing several user interfaces for collecting flight data from user and for linking to the wing-box finite element model that already created in the previous work. The distribution of lift force is governed by Schrenk method, where the distribution is multiplied by limit load factor and safety factors in order to conform to the airworthiness requirement. The lift force is computed for each rib-space area and located on a point of quarter chord called a Handler. Correspondingly each upper wing surface of rib-space called Agent conducts as media to transform each lift force from a handler into their associated nodes of FEM. To demonstrate this work, a hypothetical N250 wing box structures is utilized for a case study. The result of this work is very useful to be utilized for wing design involving aerodynamic and structure analysis
