The metaphorical sections of the Russian sub-systems and typical models of the semantic derivation in the scientific text are analysed. The scientific metaphor is viewed as an epistemic phenomenon. The cognitive approach lets comprehend the semantic of the space as a language embodiment of the world model which exists in the Russian speakers’ consciousness and expressed by a system of metaphorical nominations. The two concepts of space are introduced on the basis of which the semantic classes “space-container” and “space-construction” are singled out. These classes include several groups which are characterised by the difference of the space relations in the initial meaning and the created metaphorical images. The author analyses the lexical units which are regularly employed for the metaphorical formation of terms. The space meaning of these lexical units becomes the motivation ground for the nomination of the non-space sphere phenomena. The role of the metaphorical transfer axiological components is shown. This role is determined by the reinterpretation of the objects’ spatial characteristics.

CLINICAL DIAGNOSTIC VALUE OF AUTOANTIBODIES IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF AUTOIMMUNE LIVER DISEASES

    Get PDF
We are studied the 15 patients with autoimmune liver diseases and 36 patients without autoimmune pathology found the diagnostic value of antinuclear and antimitochondrial autoantibodies (AMA-M2) tests, and antibodies to asialoglycoprotein receptor (anti-ASGPR). Based on the ROC analysis showed that the diagnostic sensitivity and diagnostic specificity of AMA-M2 was 73% and 100% and for anti-ASGPR – 60% and 77%, respectively. Therefore, the test for anti-ASGPR in autoimmune diseases of the liver showed no advantages over standart tests, and its using in clinical practice requires clarification

DNA authentication technologies for product quality monitoring in the wine industry

    Get PDF
Identification of wine product authenticity is a topical question in theRussian Federation. A solution to this problem can be DNA authentication of wines, which is a technological process of product authenticity control using genetic identification of the main plant ingredient — wine grape varieties. This type of wine verification is carried out by analyzing residual amounts of Vitis vinifera L. nucleic acids extracted from cell debris of final products by molecular genetic methods. The aim of this work is the analysis of the existing methods for extraction of nucleic acids from grapes, wine raw materials and commercial wines, as well as description of the molecular genetic approaches to technical genetic identification of grape varieties and authentication of wines made from them. The obtained data suggest suitability of DNA authentication of wine products as a supplement to earlier approved analytical methods (documentary, visual, sensory, physico-chemical)

Toxic properties and allelopathic activity of Melilotus officinalis (L.) Pall.

Melilotus officinalis (L.) Pall., known as yellow sweetclover (Fabaceae), is widely used in medicine and agriculture. At the same time, yellow sweetclover is a weed and invasive plant in Siberia. In Russia, M. officinalis is cultivated as a valuable medicinal, fodder and honey plant. Its widespread use is due to its high ecological plasticity. In recent years, an interest in cultivation of M. officinalis as a low maintenance multipurpose crop has increased in biological agriculture. The herb M. officinalis contains a rich complex of biologically active compounds. However, along with positive properties, this species, though with a rich chemical composition and high physiological activity, is toxic towards different groups of living organisms. The toxic effect of M. officinalis extracts is primarily due to the presence of coumarin. A high allelopathic activity of M. officinalis was revealed. The phytotoxic effect of herb extracts on germination of crop and weed seeds was studied in detail. Data on the fungicidal and insecticidal activity of M. officinalis were obtained. Laboratory and in situ studies showed that the aboveground part of M. officinalis is a potential source of biopesticides with a broad-spectrum effect (bioherbicidal, insecticidal and fungicidal)

The research of uranium monoxide-oxide dissolution process in nitric acid

    Get PDF
The kinetics of concentrates of uranium monoxide-oxide dissolution process by nitric acid solutions of 5...9 mole/l in the range of 11...90 °C has been studied. It is stated that initial nitric acid concentration increasing results in some uranium dissolution degree increasing only at the first process stage. Temperature increasing significantly raises uranium dissolution degree at the first stage as well. Uranium dissolution degree increases for all studied temperatures with increasing of the process period. The main feature of the studied process is that while dissolving uranium monoxide-oxide the behavior of iron, molybdenum, silicon additives is adequate to that of uranium. The equation of the reducing sphere describes the uranium leaching process from its nitric acid concentrate

Insufficiency  of the  knee  joint  extensor  mechanism  is the  absolute  contraindication for total  knee  arthroplasty. Therefore, it is necessary to restore the extensor  mechanism before arthroplasty or to change the treatment approach.Purpose of the study  – to evaluate  the  outcomes  of surgical  reconstruction of the  knee joint  extensor  mechanism during primary or revision knee arthroplasty.Materials and methods. 25 reconstructions of extensor  mechanisms  (24 patients) were performed  in the period from 2006 to 2015. Five procedures out of 25 were performed in primary TKA and 20 in revision TKA. Indications for extensor mechanism  reconstruction were as follows: patellar  tendon  rupture in 15 cases (60,0%),  fracture  of patella  in 5 cases (20,0%), quadriceps tendon  rupture in 3 cases (12,0%) and other indications in 2 cases (8,0%). One of the following four techniques was used to restore  the extensor  mechanism: “Frame / Loop” allograft of patellar  tendon  in 6 cases (24,0%); bone – patellar  tendon  – bone allograft in 9 cases (36,0%); quadriceps tendon  – patella-patellar tendon  – bone allografts in 7 cases (28,0%); weber’s internal fixation of patella in 3 cases (12,0%).Results.  All patients were  evaluated based  on  clinical  examination,  KSS  and  WOMAC  scores  (18  patients), and standard x-rays (13 patients). The mean follow-up  period  in the  present  study  was 44 months  postoperatively. Reconstruction of the knee joint extensor  mechanism  resulted  in a significant  reduction of pain in 38.8% of patients, the knee stability was restored  in 83,3% of patients and the active  knee extension  improved  significantly  in the vast majority  of patients.Conclusion. Despite  the  objective  improvement of the  knee  joint  function  after  the  reconstructions of extensor mechanism,  the  KSS and WOMAC evaluation scores remained  low which  should  be taken  into  consideration during preoperative planning

Projectile fragmentation at Fermi energies with transport simulations

    Get PDF
Projectile fragmentation at Fermi energies is an important method to produce radioactive beams for the study of isospin asymmetric nuclear matter. Fragmentation is usually parametrized successfully by empirical phase space models. In this contribution we apply a microscopical method, semiclassical transport theory, to study in detail the reaction mechanism of the fragmentation process. We apply it to experimental data of 18O on 181Ta at E/A = 35 MeV measured in Dubna. We calculate consistently the excitation energy of the primary fragments and take into account their decay by a statistical model. It is found that the dissipative part of the fragment spectra is well described by transport theory. However, there are in addition important direct and collective contributions
