Comparison of the Effect of Different Anesthesia Maintenance on Hemodynamics in Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Surgery: A Retrospective Cohort Study
Objective:General anesthesia management in coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABGC) should preserve myocardial function, prevent ischemic damage, and maintain stable hemodynamics. There is not a universally accepted technique for anesthetic management during CABGC. Drugs or drug combinations and maintenance of infusions are decided based on the pathophysiological condition of the patient and the individual preference and experience of the anesthesiologist (1). Although there are many studies about an anesthesia induction in CABGC, studies about anesthetic maintenance are very limited. In this study, we compared the hemodynamic effects of three different methods that were used in anesthetic maintenance in CABGC.Method:The retrospective records of 108 patients in ASA II-III group who underwent elective CABGC were divided into 3 groups according to their anesthetic maintenance methods. Group I was maintained with 1-3% sevoflurane and fentanyl 4 mcg/kg/hour infusion, group II with propofol 1.5-4 mg/kg/hour and fentanyl 4 mcg/kg/hour infusion, and group III with propofol 1.5-4 mg/kg/hour and remifentanil infusion of 0.03 mg/kg/hour. Systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure (MAP) and heart rate (HR) were measured and recorded after induction (T0), after sternotomy (T1), after pericardiotomy (T2), 5 minutes after cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) (T3), after thorax closure (T4), at the end of the operation (T5). The vasodilator requirements in the time period before CBP and the inotropic agent requirements after CPB were noted. Results:Data of 108 patients (88 men/20 women) were analyzed. Demographic characteristics of the patients were similar in all the groups. Statistical analysis was made among the groups depending on coronary artery bypass graft number, cross-clamp time, total fluid administration, total blood transfusion, total urine volume, inotropic agent requirement after CPB, postoperative central venous pressure, and pre- and postoperative lactate levels; however, there was no statistical difference. There was not change more than 20-25% in MAP and HR in group I than the others. Conclusion:Better hemodynamic results were achived with sevoflurane and fentanyl in the anesthetic maintenance of CABGC

The Sariçiçek Howardite Fall in Turkey: Source Crater of HED Meteorites on Vesta and İmpact Risk of Vestoids
The Sariçiçek howardite meteorite shower consisting of 343 documented stones
occurred on 2 September 2015 in Turkey and is the first documented howardite fall. Cosmogenic
isotopes show that Sariçiçek experienced a complex cosmic ray exposure history, exposed during
~12–14 Ma in a regolith near the surface of a parent asteroid, and that an ~1 m sized meteoroid
was launched by an impact 22 ± 2 Ma ago to Earth (as did one third of all HED meteorites). SIMS
dating of zircon and baddeleyite yielded 4550.4 ± 2.5 Ma and 4553 ± 8.8 Ma crystallization ages
for the basaltic magma clasts. The apatite U-Pb age of 4525 ± 17 Ma, K-Ar age of ~3.9 Ga, and
the U,Th-He ages of 1.8 ± 0.7 and 2.6 ± 0.3 Ga are interpreted to represent thermal metamorphic
and impact-related resetting ages, respectively. Petrographic, geochemical and O-, Cr- and Tiisotopic
studies confirm that Sariçiçek belongs to the normal clan of HED meteorites. Petrographic
observations and analysis of organic material indicate a small portion of carbonaceous chondrite
material in the Sariçiçek regolith and organic contamination of the meteorite after a few days on
soil. Video observations of the fall show an atmospheric entry at 17.3 ± 0.8 kms-1 from NW,
fragmentations at 37, 33, 31 and 27 km altitude, and provide a pre-atmospheric orbit that is the
first dynamical link between the normal HED meteorite clan and the inner Main Belt. Spectral data
indicate the similarity of Sariçiçek with the Vesta asteroid family (V-class) spectra, a group of
asteroids stretching to delivery resonances, which includes (4) Vesta. Dynamical modeling of
meteoroid delivery to Earth shows that the complete disruption of a ~1 km sized Vesta family
asteroid or a ~10 km sized impact crater on Vesta is required to provide sufficient meteoroids ≤4
m in size to account for the influx of meteorites from this HED clan. The 16.7 km diameter Antonia
impact crater on Vesta was formed on terrain of the same age as given by the 4He retention age of
Sariçiçek. Lunar scaling for crater production to crater counts of its ejecta blanket show it was
formed ~22 Ma ago
Investigation of carbonates in the Sutter's Mill meteorite grains with hyperspectral infrared imaging micro-spectroscopy
Synchrotron-based high spatial resolution hyperspectral infrared imaging technique provides thousands of infrared spectra with high resolution, thus allowing us to acquire detailed spatial maps of chemical molecular structures for many grains in short times. Utilizing this technique, thousands of infrared spectra were analyzed at once instead of inspecting each spectrum separately. Sutter's Mill meteorite is a unique carbonaceous type meteorite with highly heterogeneous chemical composition. Multiple grains from the Sutter's Mill meteorite have been studied using this technique and the presence of both hydrous and anhydrous silicate minerals have been observed. It is observed that the carbonate mineralogy varies from simple to more complex carbonates even within a few microns in the meteorite grains. These variations, the type and distribution of calcite-like vs. dolomite-like carbonates are presented by means of hyperspectral FTIR imaging spectroscopy with high resolution. Various scenarios for the formation of different carbonate compositions in the Sutter's Mill parent body are discussed. (C) 2018 Elsevier B.V. Synchrotron-Based FTIR Micro-spectroscopy of Martian Meteorites
Martian meteorites from SNC group were studied with synchrotron-based FTIR spectroscopy with ~1 µm spatial resolution in the mid-infrared region (4000-850 cm-1). Silicate region in EET A79001, ALH 84001, and Nakhla present three prominent bands, while Chassigny has a different spectral profile. The infrared spectra reveal that some of the grains contain aliphatic type organic molecules as well as OH. According to the spatially resolved distribution maps, these molecules appear to be heterogeneously distributed in the samples. This points to complex parent body processes.SNC grubundan Mars meteoritleri ~1 ?m yüzeysel çözünürlüklü sinkrotron-tabanlı FTIR spektroskopi ile orta-kızılotesi alanda incelendi (4000-850 cm-1).

amacı garson’a yönelik performans değerlendirme kriterlerini tespit etmektir.
Employees working in hotel businesses are expected to love the job, to offer the best service to the customers, to satisfy them and
to meet expectations. It is also expected that employees will be able to improve themselves and to be successful in human relations.
One of the employees who come face to face with the customer in the hotel business are the waiters. In this context, it is important
for the waiter to do his job well. The aim of this study is to develop performance appraisal criteria for the waiter’s profession. This
study has an importance in terms of developing performance appraisal forms “peculiar to the vocation”, which takes differences of
departments and jobs into consideration, in contrast to uniform ones “peculiar to hotels”. Low and midlevel managers at 5-star
hotels in Ankara province compose range of application of the study. First, 4 managers are interviewed after scheduled appointments,
later on, a pilot study with 4 managers is conducted, and questionnaires are applied to 14 managers in the context of developing
performance appraisal criteria. During developing performance appraisal criteria for waiter’s, three common top criteria/dimension,
(1) personality traits, (2) vocational knowledge and skills, and (3) personal behaviour, are defined, and subordinate criteria and their
weightings over 100 points depending on their significances are respectively elicited

The Influence of CSR Practices on Lebanese Banking Performance: The Mediating Effects of Customers’ Expectations
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) issues in developing markets have acquired a lot of attention. Organisations around the globe apply a diversified set of technologies to approaching customer expectations through banking performance. This study examines the impact of CSR on Lebanese banking performance. Primary data from questionnaires were used. A total of 1000 observations were collected using a 5-point Likert scale method adopted to formulate the items. The questionnaire was tested to assess its trustworthiness regarding data collection. Partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was used to test the hypothesis. The overall results demonstrated the significance of CSR in terms of meeting customers’ expectations and maintaining banking performance. All CSR dimensions demonstrated a positive impact on customer expectations and Lebanese banking performance. Moreover, customer expectations proved to be a mediator between CSR and banking performance, although there was partial mediation between CSR and banking performance
