As an issue, it is a test for existing anonymization methodologies to accomplish security protection on security touchy extensive scale information sets because of their inadequacy of adaptability. In this paper, we propose a versatile two-stage top-down specialization (TDS) methodology to anonymize huge scale information sets utilizing the Map reduce schema on cloud. Experimental evaluation results demonstrate that with our approach, the scalability and efficiency of TDS can be significantly improved over existing approaches

    A comparison of repetitive corrugation and straightening and high-pressure torsion using an Al-Mg-Sc alloy

    A comparative study was conducted to evaluate the influence of two different severe plastic deformation (SPD) processes: repetitive corrugation and straightening (RCS) and high-pressure torsion (HPT). Samples of an Al-3Mg-0.25Sc alloy with an initial grain size of ∼150 μm were processed by RCS through 8 passes at room temperature either without any rotation during processing or with a rotation of 90° around the longitudinal axis between each pass. Thin discs of the alloy were also processed for up to 5 turns by HPT at room temperature. The results show that both procedures introduce significant grain refinement with average grain sizes of ∼0.6–0.7 μm after RCS and ∼95 nm after HPT. Measurements of the Vickers microhardness gave values of ∼128 after RCS and ∼156 after HPT. The results demonstrate that processing by HPT is the optimum processing technique in achieving both high strength and microstructural homogeneity

    Use of Petroleum Coke as an Additive in Metallurgical Coke Making

    The use of petroleum coke as an additive in coal blends has been tested and established successfully to produce metallurgical coke of acceptable quality at JSW. The performance of coke produced from coking coal blends containing petroleum coke was successfully tested in Blast furnaces. The amount of petroleum coke that may be incorporated in the blend without impairing the coke quality considerably depends mainly on the particle size and the rheological properties of the coal blend. The addition of petroleum coke produces a decrease in Maximum Fluidity (MF) in the blend due to the liberation of low molecular weight substances during heating within the plastic range and hydrogen containing species available to generate fluidity in co carbonization system. The use of low volatile petroleum coke as an additive resulted in better yield and reduction of coke ash.The ability of petroleum coke to interact with coal during plastic stage to impart good bonding between components and maintain the coke quality to match the Blast Furnace requirements is well established through laboratory studie

    DUS characterization of rice (Oryza sativa L.) germplsm

    Thirty six traditional rice cultivars conserved in germplasm collection of Regional Agricultural Research Station, Nandyal, Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University were characterized for 23 qualitative and six quantitative characters following the Distinctiveness, Uniformity and Stability (DUS) descriptors, as per PPV & FRA, 2007 during kharif 2020. Out of 29 characters studied five characteristics were found monophormic, ten were dimorphic, five were of trimorphic, seven were tetramorphic and decorticated grain shape recorded five states of expression. This study will be useful for farmers for identification of varieties and researchers for selecting desirable genotypes for breeding programmes and also to register varieties under PPV & FR Act of 2001. Hybridization between parents selected from cluster III and cluster IV followed by cluster I and cluster IV and cluster II and cluster IV with the importance to traits like stem length, test weight and decorticated grain length in segregating populations can be suggested for development of better varieties from this 36 genotypes

    ADP-Ribosylation Factor 6 Expression and Activation Are Reduced in Myometrium in Complicated Pregnancies

    ARF6 (ADP-ribosylation factor 6) small GTP binding protein plays critical roles in actin cytoskeleton rearrangements and membrane trafficking, including internalisation of G protein coupled receptors (GPCR). ARF6 operates by cycling between GDP-bound (inactive) and GTP-bound (active) forms and is a potential regulator of GPCR-mediated uterine activity during pregnancy and labour. ARF6 contains very low intrinsic GTP binding activity and depends on GEFs (guanine nucleotide exchange factors) such as CYTH3 (cytohesin 3) to bind GTP. ARF6 and CYTH3 were originally cloned from human placenta, but there is no information on their expression in other reproductive tissues.The expression of ARF6, ARF1, and CYTH1-4 was investigated by measuring mRNA (using RT-PCR) and protein levels (using immunoblotting) in samples of myometrium obtained from non-pregnant women, and women with normal pregnancies, before or after the spontaneous onset of labour. We also analysed myometrial samples from women with spontaneous preterm labour and from women with complicated pregnancies requiring emergency preterm delivery. The GST)-effector pull down assay was used to study the presence of active ARF6 and ARF1 in all myometrial extracts.ARF6, ARF1 and CYTH3 but not CYTH1, CYTH2 and CYTH4 were expressed in all samples and the levels did not change with pregnancy or labour. However, ARF6 and CYTH3 but not ARF1 levels were significantly reduced in complicated pregnancies. The alterations in the expression of ARF6 and its GEF in human myometrium indicate a potential involvement of this signalling system in modulating the response of myometrial smooth muscle in complicated pregnancies. The levels of ARF6-GTP or ARF1-GTP did not change with pregnancy or labour but ARF6-GTP levels were significantly decreased in women with severe complications of pregnancy.We have demonstrated a functional ARF6 system in human myometrium and a correlation between ARF6 level and activity in uterine and abnormal pregnancy

    Genetic diversity of maize genotypes on the basis of morpho-physiological and simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers

    In this investigation, an attempt was made to assess the genetic diversity among 91 maize (Zea mays L.) genotypes using morpho-physiological and molecular markers. Variability was observed for six morpho-physiological traits namely, SPAD chlorophyll meter reading, canopy temperature, plant height, yield per plant, fodder yield and plant biomass as well as with simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers. All the amplification products with 40 SSRs were in the range of 58 to 410 bp. A total of 124 alleles were generated and the number of alleles scored for 40 SSR loci ranged from 2 to 5 with a mean of 3.1 alleles per locus. Polymorphism information content ranged from 0.054 to 0.82 with a mean of 0.55 suggesting that all the selected genotypes possessed high level of polymorphism. The study indicates that five genotypes, RJR-247, RJR-159, NSJ-179, RJR-55 and Z101-15 were most diverse, so it is suggested that they may be used as genetic resources for maize improvement programme in future quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping for different agronomic traits and for developing new varieties with adaptation to a broad range of environments.Key words: Maize, SSR markers, genetic diversity, dendrogram

    Photo-induced charge transfer and its kinetics were investigated in Bi12SiO20 in 10-300 K temperature range, using EPR of Fe3+ centre, underin situ illumination with copper vapour laser (CVL). The decay kinetics was found to follow double exponential behaviour. Relaxation of the photo-induced electron transfer to the preillumination condition occurred even at 10 K. Shallow traps were, therefore, associated with the electron trapping, leading to a better understanding of the fast photorefractive response of BSO
