Etnosentrizm ve Tüketici İlişkiselliği: Yerli Otomobil Satın Alma Niyetinin Öngörüsü

Tüketici bireylerin satın alma niyetleri üzerine yapılan araştırmalar etnosentrizm ile milliyetçilik arasında anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğunu ifade etmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışma etnosentrizm bağlamında “Malatya Ticaret ve Sanayi odasına kayıtlı aktif üyelerin Türkiye’nin Otomobili Girişim Grubu TOGG projesine yönelik tutum ve davranışları ve yerli ve milli elektrikli otomobil TOGG markasını satın alma niyeti üzerinde etnosentrizmin önemi nedir?” temel sorunsalına cevap aramayı konu edinmektedir. Araştırmanın metodolojisi bağlamında nicel araştırma yöntemi ve anket tekniği aracılığıyla ampirik bir çalışma gerçekleştirilerek tüketicilerin yerli otomobile yönelik tutum ve davranışları ve satın alma niyetlerine yönelik elde edilen nicel ham veri setine SPSS 25 programında frekans, faktör ve yapay sinir ağı analizi uygulanmıştır. Araştırma bulguları etnosentrizm bağlamında bireylerin TOGG projesinin başarılı olacağını ve TOGG marka yerli ve milli elektrikli otomobilin Türkiye ve dünya otomobil sektöründe talep göreceğini düşündüklerini gösterirken, ön sipariş verme niyetlerinin yüksek olacağını, mevcut otomobillerini yerli ve milli elektrikli otomobil TOGG markası ile değiştireceklerini göstermekle birlikte satın alma niyetlerinde milliyetçi ve vatansever duyguların önemli olacağını öngörmektedi

NEW MEMBERS OF DECAPOD FAUNA IN FINIKE BAY, TURKEY

Shrimp fishing is done by trawling in the deep waters of Antalya and Finike Gulfs. The shrimp species generally caught during this fishing are Aristaeomorpha foliacea, Aristeus antannatus, Plesionika edwardsii, P. martia.  Besides these species, Pasiphea multidentata and P. sivado, which have no economic value, are rarely caught. Two different shrimp species were caught during trawling in the 400-500 m deep waters of Finike Bay on February 7, 2022. Since the fishermen did not know the shrimp species they caught, they wanted the species to be identified. It has been determined that these shrimp species caught in the deep waters of Finike Bay are Oplophoroidae family members i.e. Acanthepyra eximia and A. pelagica. These caught shrimps are pelagic species. With the discovery of these species in the Finike Bay, two more species were added to the Decapod fauna of the Finike Bay

Effect Of G2706A and G1051A polymorphisms of the ABCA1 gene on the lipid, oxidative stress and homocystein levels in Turkish patients with polycystıc ovary syndrome

<p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Obesity, insulin resistance and hyperandrogenism, crucial parameters of Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) play significant pathophysiological roles in lipidemic aberrations associated within the syndrome. Parts of the metabolic syndrome (low HDL and insulin resistance) appeared to facilitate the association between PCOS and coronary artery disease, independently of obesity. ABCA1 gene polymorphism may be altered this components in PCOS patients.</p> <p>In this study, we studied 98 PCOS patients and 93 healthy controls. All subjects underwent venous blood drawing for complete hormonal assays, lipid profile, glucose, insulin, malondialdehyde, nitric oxide, disulfide levels and ABCA genetic study.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>In PCOS group fasting glucose, DHEAS, 17-OHP, free testosterone, total-cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL-cholesterol and fibrinogen were significantly different compare to controls. The genotype ABCA G2706A distribution differed between the control group (GG 60.7%, GA 32.1%, AA 7.1%) and the PCOS patients (GG 8.7%, GA 8.7%, AA 76.8%). The frequency of the A allele (ABCAG2706A) was higher in PCOS patients than control group with 13,0% and 23,2%, respectively. In this study, the homocystein and insulin levels were significantly higher in PCOS patients with ABCA G1051A mutant genotype than those with heterozygote and wild genotypes.</p> <p>Conclusions</p> <p>We found higher percentage of AA genotype and A allele of ABCA G2706A in PCOS patients compare to controls. The fasting insulin and homocystein levels were significantly higher in PCOS patients with ABCA G1051A mutant genotype than those with heterozygote and wild genotypes.</p

The efficacy of cinacalcet in the treatment of hyperparathyroidism in Turkish hemodialysis patient population

WOS: 000393291900012OBJECTIVE: Cinacalcet reduces parathyroid hormone levels by increasing the sensitivity of the parathyroid gland to calcium. in this study, we firstly aimed to evaluate the efficacy of cinacalcet in Turkish hemodialysis patients. MATERIAL and METHODS: 4483 hemodialysis patients were screened and 469 patients who had used cinacalcet were included in the study. the patients were divided into 4 groups according to drug usage durations (Group 1: 3 months, Group 2: 6 months, Group 3: 9 months and Group 4: 12 months). the patients' Parathormone, Ca, P and CaxP levels at the 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th months were compared to the start of treatment and previous months. RESULTS: the levels of Parathormone, Ca, P and CaxP significantly decreased compared to their initial levels in all groups (from 1412 pg/ml to 1222 pg/mL for Parathormone, p< 0,001) in the 3rd month. However, this reduction was not continued in the subsequent months (Parathormone: 1381 pg/ml for the 12th month). CONCLUSION: Cinacalcet may not provide adequate benefit in control of hyperparathyroidism in Turkish hemodialysis patient population

Economic Optimization of Cross-flow Staggered Plain Tube Bank Heat Exchangers

Çapraz akışlı saptırılmış boru demeti ısı değiştiricileri kolay temizlenebilir olmaları, hacimsel ısı transferinin büyük olması dolayısıyla ısı geri kazanımında ve kuru tip soğutma kulelerinde en çok tercih edilen ısı değiştiricilerinden biridir. Bu çalışmada, mahal olarak Türkiye'nin 2. bölgesinden bir şehir seçilerek, ısı değiştiricisi için ilk yatırım, işletme ve toplam giderler araştırılarak ekonomik optimizasyon yapılmıştır. İlk yatırım giderlerinde pompa, vantilatör ve ısı değiştiricisi fiyatları, işletme giderlerinde pompa ve vantilatörün harcadığı elektrik enerjisi dikkate alınmıştır. Ancak işletme giderleri bugünkü değere göre belirlenmiştir. Çeşitli parametrelere göre elde edilen sonuçlar grafikler şeklinde gösterilmiştir.Cross-flow staggered tube bank heat exchangers are among the most commonly used heat exchangers in heat recovery systems and closed type cooling towers due to resistance to fouling and high rate of volumetric heat transfer. In this study, initial investment cost, operating cost and total cost for economic optimization of heat exchanger is investigated in a city of 2. climatic zone of Turkey. For initial investment cost, pump, ventilator and heat exchanger prices, and for operating cost electricity consumption of pump and ventilator are taken into consideration. But present values are used for operating costs. Results to be obtained are shown graphically for different parameters

Determination of Chart for Friction Pressure Drop Gradient for Heating System Using Plastic Pipes with Application to a Sample Project

Isıtma sistemlerinde son yıllarda plastik borular hafif ve korozyona karşı dirençli olduğundan dolayı tercih edilmeye başlamıştır. Isıtma tesisatında kullanılacak pompanın seçimi için bilindiği üzere kazan çıkışındaki su debisi yanında kritik devrenin toplam basınç kaybının da bulunması gerekmektedir. Çelik borular için sıcaklık farkı ( ) ve için sürtünme basınç kaybı gradyanı (SBKG) R (Pa/m) çizelgesi bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ise plastik borular için standartlarda verilen boru çapları kullanılarak için sürtünme basınç kaybı gradyanı çizelgesi çıkartılmış olup, örnek bir tesisatta hem çelik boru hem de plastik boru kullanılması durumundaki basınç kaybı değerleri karşılaştırılmıştır.In last years, plastic pipes are most preferred because they are light and resistant to corrosion. Mathematical expression of the cooling coil surface temperature at the central station air handling unit

Bu çalışmada tam havalı merkezi iklimlendirme sistemlerinde soğutma grubu seçimini doğrudan etkileyen soğutma serpantini yüzey sıcaklığını veren bir eşitlik elde edilmiştir. Bu eşitlikle serpantin yüzey sıcaklığı, ortalama su sıcaklığı ve ortalama hava çıkış sıcaklığına göre hesaplanmaktadır. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmada; elde edilen eşitlikle, farklı durumlardaki ortalama su sıcaklıkları ve hava çıkış sıcaklıklarına göre serpantin yüzey sıcaklığı bulunmuştur.In this study, an equation is obtained which gives cooling coil surface temperature affected by chiller system at the central station air handling unit in all air system. The cooling coil surface temperature depended on outlet air temperature and mean water temperature is calculated using this equation. As a consequence of this study, the cooling coil surface temperature is found bv this equation for different conditions which are outlet air and mean water temperatures

SOME FİSH SPECİES SHOWİNG COMMENSALİSM TRAİTS WİTH LONG-SPİNED SEA URCHİN (Diadema setosum Leske, 1778) İN GULF OF ANTALYA

This research was carried out with a rocky (Cliffs: 36°53'3.13"N; 30°41'49.78"E) stony and gravelly bottom (Konyaaltı beach: 36°53'0.07"N; 30°4043.36"E) in two different regions of Gulf of Antalya. This study was intended to determine the fish species that use the long-spined sea urchin (Diadema setosum Leske, 1778) as a shelter. In the study, the fish that use the sea urchin in the rocky area as a sheltered area Chromis Chromis, Cheilodipterus novemstriatus, Thalassoma pavo, Coris julis, Tripterygion melon rum, Gobius bucchichi. Of these species, only C. novemstriatus is exotic. Others are native species of the Mediterranean. C. Chromis juveniles were the densest among the sea urchin spines in the rocky region, while C. novemstriatus formed the second crowded species. In the study carried out in the second area, which has a stony and gravelly bottom structure, fish species that use sea urchins as shelter are C. novemstriatus, Siganus rivulatus, Apogonichthyoides pharaonic, Pteragogus pelycus, Parupeneus forsskali, Pterois miles, Sargocentron rubrum, Epinephelus aeneus and C. julis. Of these species, only E. aeneus and C. julis were determined to be native species of the Mediterranean. All other species are Red Sea species, with Rabbitfish (S. rivulatus) fry as the densest species, C. novemstriatus in the second place and A. pharaonis in the third place are. It was determined that adult and juvenile individuals of C. novemstriatus, A. pharaonic and P. pelycus used sea urchins as shelter, and only juveniles of other species. In addition, among the sea urchin spines, most of the C. novemstriatus, and A. pharaonis individuals were found to carry eggs in their mouths. According to the findings obtained in this study, it can be said that the long-spined sea urchin, which increases its population rapidly in the Mediterranean, also contributes to the increase in their population in the Mediterranean by creating a shelter for some fish species of Red Sea origin that cannot be economically evaluated and invaded
