Características de la cultura exportadora en las empresas exportadoras de arándanos del Valle de Virú - Región La Libertad, para la exportación al mercado de China, Trujillo - 2018

RESUMEN La presente investigación ha tenido por objetivo analizar las características de la cultura exportadora que tienen las empresas exportadoras de arándanos de la provincia de Virú - Región La Libertad, para la exportación al mercado de China, 2018. La metodología aplicada fue descriptiva, con un diseño de investigación no experimental. Se aplicó una entrevista y lista de cotejo a las empresas exportadoras de arándanos del Valle de Virú, La Libertad, obteniendo los siguientes resultados donde finalmente se identificaron los requisitos y su cumplimiento de los mismos por parte de las empresas entrevistadas, es así que la empresa TALSA es quién cumple al 100% con el protocolo de envío, mientras que HASS Perú alcanzó un 96% de cumplimiento, no obstante DANPER logró un 74%.ABSTRACT The present research work has aimed to analyze the characteristics of the exporting culture of blueberry exporting companies in the province of Virú - La Libertad Region, for export to the Chinese market, 2018. The methodology applied was descriptive, with a non- experimental research design. An interview and checklist was applied to the cranberry export companies of the Virú Valley, La Libertad, obtaining the following results where the requirements were finally identified and their compliance by the companies interviewed, so the company TALSA is who complies 100% with the shipping protocol, while HASS Peru achieved 96% compliance, however DANPER achieved 74%. Histerectomía como complicación de la ligadura realizada en el servicio de Gineco - Obstetricia del Hospital Dr. Enrique Garcés

Desde hace algunas décadas se empezó a relacionar la ligadura con la aparición de alteraciones menstruales posteriores. En este estudio se propuso determinar la prevalencia de ligadura en pacientes en quienes se realizó histerectomía en el servicio de Gineco - Obstetricia del Hospital Dr. Enrique Garcés. Métodos: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo de prevalencia y de asociación cruzada, la muestra consta de 134 historias clínicas de pacientes en quienes se realizó histerectomía durante los años 2007 a 2011. Se realizó un análisis descriptivo y se uso como medida de significancia la prueba de Chi cuadrado con un valor de p<0.05. Approaches to Scaffolding in Teaching Mathematics in English with Primary School Students in Colombia

Teaching mathematics in a second-language (L2) environment requires teachers to understand both relevant mathematics concepts and the L2. Teachers must be aware that the explanations, clarifications, and development of mathematical language require that students have sufficient competence in the L2 to understand what is being taught. This implies teaching language to students in three specific ways, as suggested by Coyle, Hood, and Marsh (2010): language of learning, language for learning, and language through learning. Teaching mathematics also requires teachers to apply different types of scaffolding. This study seeks to identify the types of scaffolding and instructions used by the mathematics teacher at a bilingual school in Santa Marta, Colombia teaching first-grade students in English. Classroom observations, as well as interviews and classroom observation checklists, were carried out to determine what the mathematics teacher was already doing in the classroom in terms of scaffolding. The resultant data suggests that a range of visual aids and careful use of the L1 can play significant role in supporting the simultaneous development of content and linguistics competences

La satisfacción laboral y la productividad en el área operativa de una empresa de la industria maderera en el distrito de Trujillo, año 2021

El trabajo de investigación presente tiene el objetivo determinar de qué manera la satisfacción laboral influye en la productividad de los colaboradores en el área operativa del sector maderero del distrito de Trujillo en el año 2021. El alcance del estudio está fundamentado en la necesidad por parte de la empresa del sector maderero en mejorar la satisfacción de los colaboradores y verificar la influencia que tiene con la productividad, ya que está impactando en su desempeño. El tipo de investigación es descriptiva- explicativa de diseño no experimental – transeccional. Para las variables estudiadas se aplicó la técnica de entrevista a un colaborador del área administrativa y la de encuesta -Escala de Likert se validó en 25 colaboradores del área operativa de la empresa maderera del distrito de Trujillo. En la presente investigación se concluye que la satisfacción laboral si influye en la productividad de los colaboradores del sector maderero, es decir, la satisfacción al ser optima mejora la productividad de los colaboradores del sector maderero

“El viaje de Franco”: realización de video promocional para el centro de innovación y desarrollo emprendedor (CIDE-PUCP)

El presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional aborda el desarrollo creativo y las fases de realización audiovisual del video promocional “El viaje de Franco”, elaborado para el Programa Fast Entrepreneur Trip (FET) del Centro de Innovación y Desarrollo Emprendedor (CIDE) de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). La pieza fue realizada con el objetivo de incrementar el número de solicitudes de información sobre el Programa FET en Facebook en un 100% durante los 6 meses posteriores a su publicación. Se sustenta el trabajo a través de cinco etapas que comprenden la determinación del objetivo, la definición del concepto estratégico, el desarrollo y producción audiovisual, la validación e implementación de cambios realizados. Finalmente, como resultado obtenido, se logró duplicar el número de solicitudes de información sobre el Programa FET en los 6 meses posteriores a su publicación.This work of professional sufficiency addresses the creative development and audiovisual production phases of the promotional video "El viaje de Franco", developed for the Fast Entrepreneur Trip (FET) program of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development (CIDE) of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). The piece was created with the objective of increasing the number of requests for information about the FET Program on Facebook by 100% during the 6 months following its publication. The work is supported through five stages that include the determination of the objective, the definition of the strategic concept, the development and audiovisual production, the validation and implementation of changes made. Finally, as a result, the number of requests for information on the FET Program was doubled in the 6 months after its publication

Advances in the registration of farmers’ varieties: Four cases from the global South

Over the last few decades, there has been a growing appreciation of crop varieties developed by local farmers, commonly referred to as farmers’ varieties. These varieties often have attractive characteristics for both producers and consumers, such as adaptability to harsh environmental conditions and high nutritional values. Yet they are usually not sold in formal markets, and tend to be limited to farmers’ seed systems. This is partially due to national seed laws that, in an effort to guarantee good quality seed of uniform and stable varieties, create obstacles for farmers’ varieties to reach the market. This article describes the experiences of four countries—Bolivia, Laos, Nepal and Zimbabwe—that are developing alternative variety registration systems for farmers’ varieties. Most of these cases have never been documented before. The cases present the main drivers behind and approaches to the registration of farmers’ varieties in different legal contexts and at different stages of development. We conclude that farmers’ variety registration systems can generate benefits including faster and cheaper variety releases, improved farmer incomes, and a larger diversity of well-adapted varieties in the market—but some important issues are still to be resolved

ABA biosynthesis genes are down regulated while auxin and cytokinin biosynthesis genes are up-regulated during the release of grapevine buds from endodormancy

Auxin–cytokinin (CK) interactions have been extensively studied in the control of bud outgrowth in herbaceous plants. However, in temperate woody plants where the meristem of dormant buds can be repressed by either exogenous or endogenous factors, abscisic acid (ABA) has been suggested as a potential regulator of bud outgrowth. To investigate the involvement of ABA, CK, and auxin on bud sprouting in Vitis vinifera, single-bud cuttings were used under forced conditions. This artificial bud sprouting system mimics and hastens the natural sprouting process that occurs in spring. Our results showed that expression of the ABA biosynthesis gene VvNCED1 decreased during incubation, whereas expression of the ABA catabolism gene VvA8H3 remained unaltered. Expression of CK biosynthesis- related genes ISOPENTENYL TRANSFERASE (VvIPTs) and LONELY GUY (VvLOG1), CK catabolismrelated gene CYTOKININ OXIDASE (VvCKX3), and key auxin biosynthesis gene VvYUC3 increased with incubation time. Moreover, treatment with hydrogen cyanamide (HC), a compound that breaks vine latency, increased expression of VvIPTs and VvLOG1 and reduced expression of VvCKX3 and VvNCED1. These results are consistent with previous reports indicating that HC increases CK levels and decreases ABA levels in grapevine buds. Taken together, the results suggest that in the vine, bud sprouting is preceded by a decrease in ABA content and an increase in CK and auxin levels.FONDECYT project 114031
