The Transformation of Balinese Satua Values: Strengthening the Character Education of the Alpha Generation

The study aims at describing the transformation of the Balinese satua values for strengthening the alpha generation (Gen A)’s character education in Kindergarten Saraswati Tabanan. The method used was qualitative research with a Cultural Studies approach. The results showed that Masatua (storytelling) was carried out for twenty minutes every “Thursday Cultures"  in Balinese, such as Masatua Siap Selem, and Ni Bawang Teken Ni Kesuna. They were very happy to listen to stories because they were supported by pictures media, the narrator were hilarious and familiar, interspersed with dialogues and Balinese folk songs. Previously, the characters of the Gen A was relatively less independent or less confident, spoiled, and egocentric. After Gen A were given Balinese storytelling continuously, there were process internalization of balinese satua values, which can influence the strengthening of the character of children, such as children become independent, confident, religious, honest, disciplined, tolerant, creative, and responsible. In conclusion, the Balinese satua contains noble moral values that can be told to children with practical ways, and pragmatic manner in a pleasant atmosphere. Masatua was carried out sustainable so that it became a habit, culture and can strengthen the characters of Gen A, and also preservation and development of local wisdom

Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi, Struktur Organisasi, PemanfaatanTeknologi Informasi, dan SIA Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Lembaga Perkreditan Desa Se- Kecamatan Abiansemal

Employee performance is an importan element that the company pays attention to in order to achieve its goals. Seeing the importance of performance, the author would like to write a paper that contains the factors that cause performance improvement both from an organizational culture, the structure within a company, the benefits of using technology, or AIS. The LPD in Abiansemal sub-district has 33 active LPDs with 311 employees who make up the population. The sample was selected using a purpose sampling technique with the results of 132 respondents. Later observations will use regression techniques to manage the data. Observers find research results that reveal that performance is influenced by the culture that is applied and carried out in the organization. The organizational structure, the use of a technology, and SIA also participate in the factors that cause employee performance improvement. &nbsp

SPECIFIED 21ST CYBER-BASED LEARNING ACTIVITIES: PERSPECTIVES FROM JHS EFL TEACHERS IN INDONESIAN EFL CONTEXT

This study aimed at investigating the specified 21st Cyber-based learning activities. The emergence of using specified 21st cyber-based learning activities is due to the integration of digital literacy and the 4Cs. The method of the study is descriptive qualitative study with SWOT data analysis technique. Then, to ensure the validity and reliability of the data analysis, methods triangulation was used to check the consistency of findings generated by different data collection methods. The data were collected through documents analysis, classroom observation, and interview section. The result of the study showed that JHS EFL teachers have different perspectives about the specified 21st cyber-based learning activities due to cultural attributes of Indonesian EFL learners which have society’s perspective behavior of collectivism, reticence and passivity. However, in line with the use of specified 21st century-based learning activities, another result showed that students need EFL learning activities which implementing the subskills of the 4Cs. Additionally, the EFL learning activities should be integrated with the 4Cs both in the cyber-based and classroom-based learning to answer the education challenge in 21st century education

Challenges Encountered by an Active Bilingual Child in Productive Skills

The purpose of this study was to describe the bilingual child's ability and challenges in speaking and writing in two languages: Bahasa Indonesia and English. This research was designed by using a case study. The subject of this research was an 11-year-old, who communicated in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. Data were collected through observation, interview, video recording of the child’s speaking English and Bahasa Indonesia, and document analysis. The result showed that the subject was an active bilingual child because he actively spoke Bahasa Indonesia as his mother tongue and English as his second language. In English speaking, he had constraints in pronouncing /wɑː.zənt/, /bɑːt/. In speaking Bahasa Indonesia, he missed spealing some words, such as Hari,  Dermaga, Bermain. In, writing English, he had difficult in writing words. He dominantly had challenge in writing the Indonesian Language, especially in developing content, vocabulary used, and in grammar used

The consumer's decision to use a product must be considered by the company to increase its competitiveness in the market. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of word of mouth, service excellence and consumer trust on service use decisions at PT. Nusa Trans Bali in Denpasar. The total population is as many as 40 people so that all of them are used as research samples. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that simultaneously or partially, word of mouth, service excellence and consumer trust influence the decision to use services at PT. Nusa Trans Bali in Denpasar is positive and significant. To PT. Relationship Between Physical Activity and Blood Pressure in Hypertensive Elderly at UPTD Puskesmas Susut I

Introduction: Hypertension is a common problem experienced by some elderly due to several changes in the body's system. This condition is also influenced by several other factors such as decreased activity ability in old age. This study aimed to determine the relationship between physical activity and blood pressure in hypertensives elderly at the Working Area of UPTD Puskesmas Susut I. Method: This study used a correlational analytic design with a cross sectional approach. This study involved 83 samples selected through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using the Physical Activity Scale for Elderly (PASE) questionnaire and analyzed using the Rank Spearman test. Result: The results showed that the physical activity of the elderly had an average value of 11.43 or categorized as mild physical activity with an average systolic blood pressure was 157 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure was 97 mmHg. There is a relationship between physical activity and blood pressure in hypertensives elderly at the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Susut I (p-value = 0.000). Conclusion: There is a relationship between physical activity and blood pressure in hypertensives elderly. Hubungan Pola Asuh Orang Tua di Rumah Bentuk Authoritative Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Disiplin Belajar Pada Diri Siswa Kelas V SD

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ditemukannya ada beberapa siswa yang nilai karakter disiplinnya rendah terutama pada disiplin belajar. Pada masalah ini lingkungan keluarga khususnya orang tua yang menjadi peranan penting dalam membantu pembentukan karakter disiplin belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua di rumah bentuk authoritative terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin belajar pada diri siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini digolongkan kedalam rancangan penelitian (ex post facto). Analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis yaitu menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Namun sebelum itu dilakukan uji prasyarat terlebih dahulu yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji autokorelasi dan uji heterokedastisitas. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode non tes berupa kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan yang signifikan pola asuh orang tua di rumah bentuk authoritative terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin belajar pada diri siswa kelas V di SD Gugus 1 Kelurahan Gianyar, dimana F hitung = 128,15 > F tabel = 3,90 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF INNOVATIVE WORK BEHAVIOR IN INDONESIA

This research endeavors to achieve two primary objectives: first, to systematically map extant studies on innovative work behavior, and second, to elucidate emerging trends within these studies, emphasizing the Indonesian milieu. The researcher employed a bibliometric analysis, augmented by the PRISMA protocol, and conducted a comprehensive exploration of the Scopus database. The importance of this study is underscored by the distinctive innovative culture of Indonesia and its relative underrepresentation in global innovation indices. Our analysis of a curated set of 35 articles indicates a pronounced focus, predominantly spanning from 2017 to 2023, signaling an upswing in research interest or contributions during this period in Indonesia. The distribution of articles across diverse journals further corroborates the burgeoning relevance of the subject in the Indonesian context. Additionally, key terms such as "Innovative Work Behavior," accompanied by "Knowledge Sharing" and "Job Performance," dominate the discourse, underlining their pivotal role in the research landscape. Moreover, the prevailing inclination towards quantitative research methodologies, in the absence of qualitative ones, creates a methodological void. The disproportionate representation of public and business organizations in the dataset also signifies a population gap, highlighting the need for public administration research to address this gap promptly. Significantly, this study endeavors to bridge the gap in academic literature by referencing globally reputed works on innovative work behavior, with a particular emphasis on the Indonesian context, which has been largely underrepresented in scholarly discussions

EXPLORING STUDENTS’ AND LECTURERS’ ANXIETY IN LEARNING ENGLISH DURING EMERGENCY REMOTE TEACHING IN A PUBLIC UNIVERSITY IN NORTH BALI

This study aimed to investigate students' and lecturers’ anxiety in learning English during emergency remote teaching in a public university in North Bali. This study was formed in a quantitative study. The data were collected by doing a survey and giving the questionnaire that was developed based on the FLCAS (Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale) for the participants. There were 200 university students and 9 lecturers of English Language Education in the research setting as the participants. The study found that the university students’ level was mildly anxious or indicated a moderate level of anxiety. Meanwhile, the lecturers’ anxiety level was very relaxed or indicated as low anxiety level. From the results, it can be concluded that most of university students did not feel afraid and happy. Meanwhile, the lecturers felt joy in teaching and learning English during the emergency remote teaching

Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan Dan Nilai Pelanggan Terhadap Kepuasan Anggota Koperasi

The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of service quality and customer value on member satisfaction either partially or simultaneously. This research was conducted at KSP Putra Jaya Mandiri. The number of samples taken was 60 respondents. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, literature and questionnaires. While the data analysis techniques are validity, reliability, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, multiple correlation, t test (t test), determination, and f test (f test). The test results show that there is a positive and significant influence between service quality on member satisfaction, which is seen from the t-test results obtained by t1-count is 3.389 greater than the t-table of 1.671 and a sig value of 0.001. There is a positive and significant influence between customer value on member satisfaction. It can be seen from the t-test results that the t-test is 4.254, which is greater than the t-table of 1.671 and the sig value of 0.000. There is a positive and significant influence between service quality and customer value on member satisfaction as seen from the F-count is 44.303 which is greater than the F-table of 3.15.
