Synthesis and structure of pentamethylcyclopentadienyltin(II) tetraphenylborate

The title compound (Cp*Sn)BPh 4 was obtained by the metathesis reaction of Cp*SnCl with NaBPh4and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction as well as solution and solid-state 119Sn nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. The coordination modes are best described as (ν 5-C5Me 5)Sn(μ-ν6-Ph) 2BPh2

Execução da pena privativa de liberdade para mulheres : a urgência de regime especial

Analisa o problema do crescimento contínuo da população de prisões femininas e problemas específicos referentes ao cárcere de mulheres, as quais no ambiente das prisões estão submetidas a um poder discriminativo e opressivo. Alerta sobre os dois lados deste problema: a natureza fáctica, a origem das dificuldades relacionadas ao crescimento da criminalidade e o cárcere de mulheres; e a natureza legal, constituída nas normas explícitas insuficientes para garantir a efetividade de direitos de cárcere para mulheres. Apresenta estudos que comprovam o real crescimento da população feminina nas prisões e a presença de um número expressivo de mulheres em idade reprodutiva e com filhos, enfatizando a necessidade de execução criminal que respeite os direitos sexuais e reprodutivos das mulheres, bem como o direito de viver com os filhos. Por fim, propõe uma revisão da Lei Criminal de Execuções a fim de explicitar na legislação, os direitos das mulheres prisioneiras, para garantir a efetividade, definindo, ainda, os acordos especiais para implementação da penalidade das mulheres

Reinvestigation of Reactions of HgPh<inf>2</inf> with Eu and Yb Metal and the Synthesis of a Europium(II) Bis(tetraphenylborate) †

Europium bis(tetraphenylborate) [Eu(thf)7][BPh4]2⋅thf containing a fully solvated [Eu(thf)7]2+ cation, was synthesized by protolysis of “EuPh2” (from Eu and HgPh2) with Et3NHBPh4, and the structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Efforts to characterize the putative “Ph2Ln” (Ln = Eu, Yb) reagents led to the synthesis of a mixed-valence complex, [(thf)3YbII(μ-Ph)3YbIII(Ph)2(thf)]⋅2thf, resulting from the reaction of Yb metal with HgPh2 at a low temperature. This mixed-valence YbII/YbIII compound was studied by 171Yb-NMR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and the oxidation states of the Yb atoms were assigned

Rompendo Barreiras: A Experiência do Projeto de Atendimento à s Mulheres em Situação de Violência Doméstica e Familiar na Ceilândia.

O artigo apresenta a experiência do Projeto de Extensão de Ação Contínua Atendimento às Mulheres em Situação de Violência Doméstica e Familiar, iniciado em 2007, no Núcleo de Extensão da Ceilândia. Após a identificação do Projeto são expostas suas premissas e/ou propostas: o compromisso com assessoria jurídica para emancipação e autonomia das mulheres; a violência doméstica e familiar contra as mulheres como violência de gênero estruturante da sociedade patriarcal; a prática pedagógica feminista, o atendimento interdisciplinar; a crítica a lógica punitiva e o aprendizado de habilidades. Por fim é trazido o ponto de vista de mulheres atendidas. Conclui-se que a experiência da extensão rompe as barreiras da educação elitista realizando uma prática pedagógica feminista. Abstract:&nbsp;The article presents the experience of the Project of Extension of Continuous Action Attendance to the Women in Situation of Domestic and Familiar Violence, beginner in 2007, at the Center of Extension of Ceilândia. After the identification of the Project they are displayed its premises and/or proposals: the commitment with legal assessorship foremancipation and autonomy of the women; family and domestic violence against women as gender violence of patriarchal society; the pedagogical feminist practice, the interdisciplinary attendance; the critic to the punitive logic and the learning of abilities. Finally the point of view is brought of attended women. The conclusion is that the experience of the extension breaches the barriers of the practical elitist education accomplishing a pedagogical practice.&nbsp

Functional polyoxometalates from solvothermal reactions of VOSO4 with tripodal alkoxides – a study on the reactivity of different “tris” derivatives

We report a study on the structure directing effects of functional groups and counterions. The aim was to find a facile and high yielding synthetic procedure to obtain polyoxometalate (POM) building blocks for post- functionalisation. Therefore, solvothermal reactions of VOSO4 with various tris(hydroxymethyl)methane derivatives in alkaline methanolic solutions were investigated. In doing so, new POM fragments were isolated and characterised. The binding modes of the functionalised tripodal alkoxides turned out to be surprisingly different
