O ensino remoto e suas implicações no ensino da matemática

This dissertation deals with the remote teaching of Mathematics during the Covid-19 pandemic. Its main objective is to investigate the development of mathematics teaching in remote education during the pandemic period, in addition to discussing the mathematics teacher training and the conditions that are decisive in teaching practice for teaching mathematics in basic education. Qualitative research, a study with teachers who teach mathematics from a private school in the city of Porto Nacional - Tocantins is used. In this , study, the collection instrument was the questionnaire that aimed to investigate, among others,how the teaching of the discipline of Mathematics has occurred in the model of remote classesin the teacher's perception. The results indicate that it was sought to offer teaching through technological mediation, in order to avoid school dropout. However, several factors interfere in this process so that teaching and learning are of quality.Esta dissertação aborda sobre o ensino remoto da disciplina de Matemática durante a pandemia do Covid-19. Tem como objetivo principal investigar o desenvolvimento do ensino de Matemática no ensino remoto durante o período da pandemia, além de discutir sobre a formação do professor de Matemática e as condições que são determinantes na prática docente para o ensino da Matemática na educação básica. Metodologicamente, foi utilizado a pesquisa qualitativa, que abordou professores que ensinam Matemática de uma escola da rede privada de ensino da cidade de Porto Nacional - Tocantins. Nesse estudo o instrumento de coleta foi o questionário que teve o intuito de investigar, entre outros, como tem ocorrido o ensino da disciplina de Matemática no modelo de aulas remotas na percepção do professor. Os resultados apontam que buscou-se ofertar o ensino por mediação tecnológica, tendo em vista evitar evasão escolar. Entretanto, vários fatores interferem nesse processo para que o ensino e a aprendizagem sejam de qualidade

Estudos sobre o ensino multisseriado: um debate (ir)relevante

School work in a multi-series format is very old in Brazil and is currently found in many realities, especially in rural areas. This type of organization consists of grouping different years (series) of teaching in one room, under the responsibility of a single teacher, which often makes this work complex and challenging. This research is related to the interest in knowing the available bibliographic production that can subsidize the pedagogical work in these schools, for that purpose the following magazines were selected: Educação & Realidade; Educação; Revista brasileira de Educação do Campo. It was established as a general objective: To analyze, in three education magazines, the scientific production that deals with multi-series teaching and its theoretical and methodological potential for schools in the early years. The specific objectives were: a) to know the guidelines that guide and provide the basis for multi-grade / rural schools; b) to survey and categorize articles that deal with the theme of multiseries teaching in three national scientific journals; c) discuss the theme of multi-series education in the context of rural education; d) subsidize reflections on teaching work in the context of multi-grade schools. In the first stage of data processing, a quantitative survey of articles was carried out using the following search terms: school (s) in the field, multiseries school (s) and education in the field, reaching a total of 66 articles. Then, a selection of 13 articles was made that dealt with the theme of the multi-grade school where a qualitative analysis was carried out. In general, it is concluded that the Brazilian scientific production leaves something to be desired about research on the subject, mainly in magazines that do not deal with a specific subject. Studies on the topic help to understand and weave solutions to the problems that multiseries face, so it is necessary to encourage and seek more about this topic within national production.O trabalho escolar em formato multisseriado é bem antigo no Brasil e é encontrado, atualmente, em muitas realidades, sobretudo nas áreas rurais. Esse tipo de organização consiste em agrupar diferentes anos (séries) de ensino em uma sala, sob a responsabilidade de um único professor, o que muitas vezes torna esse trabalho complexo e desafiador. Esta pesquisa está relacionada com o interesse em conhecer a produção bibliográfica disponível que pode subsidiar o trabalho pedagógico nessas escolas, contemplando as seguintes revistas científicas: Educação & Realidade; Educação; Revista Brasileira de Educação do Campo. Estabeleceu-se como objetivo geral: analisar, em três revistas de educação, a produção científica que trata do ensino multisseriado e seus potenciais teórico-metodológicos para as escolas dos anos iniciais. Os objetivos específicos foram: a) conhecer as diretrizes que norteiam e dão base para as escolas multisseriadas/do campo; b) levantar e categorizar artigos que tratam do tema do ensino multisseriado em três revistas científicas nacionais; c) discutir a temática do ensino multisseriado no contexto da educação do campo; d) subsidiar reflexões em torno do trabalho docente no contexto de escolas multisseriadas. Na primeira etapa do tratamento de dados, foi realizado um levantamento quantitativo de artigos por meio dos seguintes termos de busca: escola(s) do campo, escola(s) multisseriada(s) e educação do campo, chegando a um total de 66 artigos. Em seguida, realizou-se uma seleção de 13 artigos que tratavam do tema da escola multisseriada pela qual foi realizada uma análise qualitativa. De forma geral, conclui-se que a produção científica brasileira deixa a desejar sobre pesquisas sobre o tema, principalmente nas revistas, pois elas não tratam de um assunto específico. Os estudos acerca do tema ajudam a compreender e a tecer soluções para os problemas que as escolas multisseriadas enfrentam, portanto é necessário incentivar e buscar mais sobre esse tema dentro da produção nacional

Development of an ELISA test for Salmonella serological monitoring in Brazil

EMBRAPA/CNPSA developed an ELISA test based on LPS antigens from Salmonella Typhimurium. After the optimal dilution determination of the test components, four sera were chosen as controls. The interplate variation was controlled by a coefficient correlation between standard and daily curves of control sera and the coefficient variation of sample sera triplicates. The cut-off was determined by a dispersion analysis in a nursery piglet population proved to be salmonellae negative. The test performance was evaluated in experimentally and naturally S. Typhimurium infected pigs and in animals vaccinated with other Salmonella serovars. The seroconversion was observed after two weeks post inoculation in experimentally infected and vaccinated animals. In naturally infected animals, which were sampled twice during the finishing period, at the first sampling 75 % of pigs were eliminating salmonellae in feces and 25 % were positive in the ELISA. At the second sampling 76.9 % became serologically positive. These results suggest that the developed test can be used for Salmonella Typhimurium monitoring programs in swine

RELATO DA APLICAÇÃO DE UMA UNIDADE DE ENSINO POTENCIALMENTE SIGNIFICATIVA (UEPS) DE CONTEÚDOS DE TERMOLOGIA

Este artigo traz a descrição de uma Unidade de Ensino Potencialmente Significativa (UEPS) como produto educacional que busca ofertar subsídio para a abordagem dos conceitos de termologia no contexto dos Anos Finais do Ensino Fundamental. Durante esse período, foram realizadas atividades como a exibição de vídeos, a realização de aulas experimentais, a exploração e discussão de conceitos, bem como a promoção de atividades colaborativas. Para finalizar a unidade, uma palestra sobre Astronomia foi utilizada como estratégia para a reconciliação integradora, com uma nova apresentação de significados dos conceitos de termologia em situações-problema de complexidade mais alta. A UEPS foi elaborada seguindo a sequência de passos proposta por Moreira (2011), e consistiu em nove encontros conduzidos em uma turma de oitavo ano. Após a aplicação da UEPS, foi possível constatar indícios dede Aprendizagem Significativa na maioria dos participantes. O objetivo principal deste artigo é relatar a sequência didática aplicada, destacando como ela foi implementada no contexto escolar

An Overview on the Studies of Organizational Culture in Journals Indexed in the Business Administration Area (2008-2013)

The literature, especially in the areas of Administration, Psychology and Sociology, has paid attention to the values as guides of human and organizational behavior in private and public companies. This study has aimed to present how the organizational culture has been studied through a review of scientific journals that have published articles on the subject, comprising the years from 2008 to 2013 and making a comparison between the reality of Brazilian and international publications. Seeking to provide some perspective on the current scenario in the theme, this work is characterized as a bibliometric study. A research for some specific words was conducted. The Brazilian and international articles found were analyzed separately to keep the keywords as chosen by the authors, not losing anything for translations and also as a way to compare Brazilian publications with international ones. Some authors notice the need for studies comprising the understanding of how organizational culture is perceived by the literature and how are being held the studies in this area. Through some studies, it becomes apparent that there is still room to develop further research to understand the publications in the area of organizational culture. 522 articles were found in international databases and 31 in Brazilian journals that were in accordance with the limits of this research. The study shows some differences between Brazilian and international publishings and how there is still room for more studies linking organizational culture and other subjects in the field of Administration

A pecuária de corte no Paraná – desenvolvimento, caracterização e o papel das pastagens

Esta revisão procura analisar, para o caso do estado do Paraná, Brasil, o desenvolvimento  e as características da pecuária de corte, bem como a distribuição, o papel e o potencial produtivo das pastagens. As alterações nas áreas de pastagens são discutidas. A pecuária de corte no Paraná está baseada quase que no uso  exclusivo de pastagens utilizadas sob pastejo. O clima no estado é o determinante para a ampla adaptação e a maior utilização de gramíneas que crescem nas estações da primavera e verão. As gramíneas forrageiras, além de prover alimento (pasto, feno, silagem) para a indústria bovina,  apresentam importante papel paisagístico, na manutenção da flora campestre e na conservação do solo e da vida selvagem. O potencial de produção animal de forrageiras de verão e de inverno utilizadas de modo intensivo é alto. Muitas pesquisas com pastagens devem ainda ser realizadas. O reconhecimento do papel e do potencial das pastagens é de suma importância para o desenvolvimento da pecuária de corte desse estado do Brasil
