Latinoamérica ante el desafío de la investigación sobre curtidos

Este trabajo da cuenta de la situación actual y de la problemática de la investigación sobre curtidos en Latinoamérica, asociada al fenómeno del desarrollo creciente de la industria curtidora en la región. Se indican también las formas como esta industria obtiene tecnología, su implicancia socioeconómica, etc. Se esbozan algunas sugerencias sobre el particular y también se hace referencia a, una acción concertada de entidades estatales-latinoamericanas en el campo de la investigación y formación de recursos humanos.This paper deals with the actual leather research situation in Latin America in connection with the development of its tanning industry. Reference is made to the ways this industry gets technology. Estado -Traço de ansiedade e vivências académicas em estudantes do 1º ano do Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre

O presente estudo teve como objectivo geral compreender a adaptação dos estudantes do 1º ano do Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre através do conhecimento dos seus Estados e Traços de Ansiedade, bem como das suas Vivências Académicas. Foram estudados N=185 estudantes do Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre (IPP) que, no ano lectivo de 2007/2008, se encontravam matriculados no 1º ano nas Escolas do IPP: Escola Superior de Saúde de Portalegre (ESSP), Escola Superior Agrária de Elvas (ESAE), Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão de Portalegre (ESTGP), e Escola Superior de Educação de Portalegre (ESEP). Predominando o sexo feminino (68.6%), solteiros (96.8%), e idade entre os 18 e os 55 anos, maioritariamente revelaram adaptação em todas as Dimensões do QVA-r, à excepção da Dimensão Pessoal, facto que ocorre em 75,1% dos estudantes. Verificou-se ainda que é no Grupo Etário “Entre 18 e 22 anos” e no sexo Feminino que existe média mais elevada para as Escalas de Ansiedade-Estado e Ansiedade-Traço

The architecture of predator-prey and the relationship between complexity and stability

Theoretical studies predict that the stability of an ecosystem is negatively correlated with its complexity, measured by the number of interacting species. On the other hand, empirical evidence indicates that food webs are highly interconnected. In this manuscript we present results on the stability two-level predator-prey food webs. We analyzed exhaustively all possible topologies of connections among species. Our findings show that those food webs fall into two classes with clearly distinct stability properties. In one of them stability is negatively correlated with complexity, and in the other group stability is positively correlated. For a positive relationship our results reveals highly structured food webs. The positive or negative relationship is related only to the topological structure of the food web. It is independent of the number of connections, strengths of predator-prey interactions or number of species. We review empirical evidence that corroborates our results

Promoting School Inclusion by The Pedagogical Coordinator: Perceptions of Teachers and Educational Coordinators

As escolas têm de proporcionar uma educação de qualidade a todos os alunos, independentemente da sua condição física, cognitiva, cultural, étnica e religiosa. Pelas funções supervisivas que desempenha, o coordenador pedagógico pode ter um papel importante no apoio aos professores na promoção da inclusão escolar de todos os alunos na escola. Daí ter sido nossa intenção compreender as perceções de coordenadores pedagógicos e de professores do ensino fundamental sobre a ação supervisiva do coordenador pedagógico na promoção da inclusão escolar dos alunos com necessidades educativas especiais. Para isso realizámos uma investigação de natureza qualitativa, concretizada por entrevistas semi-estruturadas a coordenadores pedagógicos e a professores do referido nível de ensino. Através delas foi possível verificar as limitações da ação do coordenador pedagógico na inclusão escolar devido à falta de formação e à ausência de um modelo de supervisão pedagógica para a implementação de práticas de inclusão escolar pelos professores. The pedagogical coordinator have the functions it performs, the pedagogical coordinator can play an important role in supporting teachers in the promotion of school inclusion of all students in school. It was our intention to understand the perceptions of coordinators and teachers of elementary school on the supervisive action pedagogical coordinator in promoting school inclusion of students with special needs. For this we conducted a qualitative research, accomplished by semi-structured interviews with coordinators and teachers of that grade level. Through them it was possible to verify the limitations of the pedagogical coordinator action in school inclusion due to lack of training and lack of a pedagogical supervision model for the implementation of school inclusion practices by teachers.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
