V posledních třech desetiletích se pravidla upravující nakládání s doménovými jmény a způsoby uplatňování a vymáhání těchto pravidel konstantně vyvíjely a prodělaly markantní změny. Ve čtvrté kapitole je rozebrána právní povaha...Protection of Domain Names (master's degree thesis) The purpose of my thesis is to analyse a legal interpretation of the domain name. The thesis analyzes the theoretical base of this term, authorities competent to constitute rules on the market of domain names and to decide how to judge corelated disputes, attention is also drawn to the conflict of protected names and domain names. The important question to be answered is the eventual social significance of a juridical framework of domain name. The question of domain names (and also other institutes connected with internet) is a widely discussed and disputed topic. The last three decades the rules and the execution of them were constantly developing and underwent major changes. Therefore it's very interesting to watch this progress and to compare the many different points of view on the whole issue. Those were the main reasons for my research. The thesis consists of seven chapters. Chapter One, Two and Three are introductory, they define the term 'domain name', its function and structure. They also express and explain the basic terminology attached to domain names. Chapter Four analyzes the place of the domain name in Czech law system. This chapter is divided into two parts. Part One is focussing on the previous private law codex. The Second Part...Department of Business LawKatedra obchodního právaPrávnická fakultaFaculty of La

The theme of this thesis is evaluation of credit availability in the acquisition of housing of selected household types. The first part is mainly about public policy in relation to housing with a focus on housing financing in Czech Republic. The second theoretic chapter is about basis for real estate valuation. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate credit availability of selected housing unit for individual types of households. This goal is achieved by two practical parts of the thesis. The first is valuation of property itself, which is a housing unit, so that it is then possible to quantify the required size of the mortgage loan, according to the value of the property. The next practical part defines selected types of households according to the most common standards in the Czech Republic. Then, according to available statistical data, there are assigned incomes and expenses to each household, on the basis of which the possibility of obtaining a loan is then assessed. An important part was also to define the current conditions applicable to applicants for mortgage loans. According to them was evaluated the whole essence of this thesis. One of the main findings was the importance of savings in planning the acquisition of real estate through a mortgage loan, especially because the current conditions in the mortgage market are constantly tightening, and it is often necessary to have at least some of the value of the acquired property already saved. The results of this thesis may inspire further research into housing management options, whether through credit or otherwise.153 - Katedra veřejné ekonomikyvýborn

This work presents how to assess a rate of adhesion between bituminous binder and mineral aggregate. Asphalt mixtures composed from grade bitumen 50/70, reference or modified with adhesion promoters based on amines, and aggregate (Brant, Zbraslav, Skuteč – 8-16mm) were made and then photographed. Three adhesion assessment approaches were applied: (i) standardized adhesion visual assessment, (ii) gray level thresholding, and (iii) entropy-based image segmentation, both evaluated from digital images. It was shown that adhesion between both Brant and Skuteč and reference binder, expressed as a rate of binder-coated area onto aggregate particles, was equal to ca. 50-70 %, while mixture composed from Zbraslav exhibited ca. 70-80 %. If adhesion promoters were used, these areas increased in all three cases up to 80-90 %. It was shown that results obtained using visual and entropy segmentation analysis were very similar, while these differed in comparison with gray-level thresholding

ASSESSMENT OF ADHESION BETWEEN BITUMINOUS BINDER AND MINERAL AGGREGATE USING DIGITAL IMAGE ANALYSIS

Asphalt mixtures often fail due to a low adhesion of bituminous binder to mineral aggregate, which leads to surface coarse damages like potholes and fatigue cracking. To avoid this phenomenon, different types of adhesion promoters may be admixed into bituminous binder but a new question about their effectiveness arises. This paper presents two semi-automatic methods, which reliably replace the subjective assessment. Both of them use a digital image of asphalt mixtures as an input. The first is based on a gray level thresholding, while the second one on an entropy-based image segmentation. Asphalt mixtures composed from Zbraslav aggregate (fraction 8–16 mm), paving grade bitumen 50/70 and several types of adhesion promoters were made and subjected to the adhesion assessment. It was shown that aggregate grains coated by binder was equal to ca. 83–88% in the case of reference binder, while that was increased by ca. 10–13% if whatever adhesion promoters were used

MECHANICAL AND IMAGE ANALYSIS OF ADHESION BETWEEN MINERAL AGGREGATE AND BITUMINOUS BINDER

Asphalt mixtures often fail due to poor interaction between mineral aggregate and bituminous binder. Therefore, many efforts are being made on adhesion improvement between the two materials. In this work, paving grade bitumen 50/70 was doped with two types of adhesion promoters. Asphalt mixtures composed of crushed aggregate Brant coated by binder were made and exposed to stripping water. Then, they were subjected to visual and digital image analysis aiming to quantify aggregate residual bitumen-coated areas. Besides, two cylindrical samples of aggregate were bonded together by a thin film of bitumen doped with adhesion promoters. After solidification of binder, force needed for separation of the two parts was measured. It was shown that residual bitumen-coated areas were increased by 20-30% by adding adhesion promoters into binder. Mechanical adhesion of thus modified binder to aggregate was increased by up to twice

    Fermenting Feminism

"Fermenting Feminism brings together artists whose work responds to what it means to bring fermentation and feminism into the same critical space. These are works that approach fermentation through intersectional and trans-inclusive feminist frameworks, and works that approach feminisms through the metaphor and material practice of fermentation. As both a metaphor and a physical process, fermentation embodies bioavailability and accessibility, preservation and transformation, inter-species symbiosis and coevolution, biodiversity and futurity, harm reduction and care." The bachelor thesis examines the link between foreign military missions and the incidence of international terrorism in three European countries – France, Belgium, and the United Kingdom after 2011. Buts and Du Bois theory that comes up with some factors that make foreign missions more dangerous – increase the risk of terrorist attacks, is applied to the selected countries. The case study evaluates each foreign mission based on these criteria. In this regard, the missions in Syria and Iraq have been found the most dangerous. At the same time, some internal factors that may have played a role in the matter of international terrorism are examined, such as the phenomenon of foreign fighters, the issue of radicalization, and cultural differences
