The monograph consists of 14 chapters and the order of them refers to the relationship between the family and the health of its members. The first seven texts concern children’s health problems. The next two concern widely defined issues of nutrition and adult nursing. The next four discuss health issues of the elderly, while the last describes the dilemma of bereaved family members who have to decide about organ donation. The individual chapters show different aspects of family participation in the treatment and care of children, the elderly, the chronically ill, and the disabled. The discussed topics are a part of the wider issue of social medicine. A very important issue is the interdisciplinary problem of interaction between health and illness and their influence on the family, which is on one hand embedded in medical science, while on the other hand it refers to the social sciences, especially family sociology, psychology, pedagogy, and also social policy to some extent. The authors of the monograph also discuss the issue of life quality of the elderly living in domestic environments and the health and social problems they face. The authors also analyse the role of nurses in promoting health, such as immunisation, rational nutrition, and ethical aspects such as the screening of newborns. This monograph is addressed to all who work or want to work with families and support them in the difficult challenges posed by disease. Social workers' motivation for employment in drop-in centres

This bachelor's is called Social workers motivation for employment in drop-in centres. The work is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of motivation as a psychological phenomenon, its characteristics and continuity. In addition, it deals with social motivation, detailing the types of social behavior, such as altruism, affiliation and the need for power. The theoretical part also characterizes drop-in centers, the principles of provision of services and methods of work with the client. Empirical part is focused on recognititon o f motivation social workers for the selection of this profession. It is a little research, which aims to map awared motivational factor of workers. Another aim was to explore whether there is contact of the analogue aspects of motivation between workers and that they are. Research was conducted at fifteen workers drop-in centres. The place of their work were frequently Prague and Moravia. Workers were considered issues relating to the selection of professional social workers, the reasons for focusing on the target group of children and youth, the circumstances of acession to employment and the possible effects of their own life experiences on the selection o f this target group and the profession at all. César Franck and his chamber music

This thesis deals one of the great figures in Romantic music in the 19th century César Franck, as a composer, organist and music teacher, too. To the significant part belongs Franck´s chamber music which I apply myself to in detail. That is particulary piano trio in F sharp minor, piano trio in B sharp minor, piano quitent in F minor, string quartet in d minor and certainly sonata for violin and piano A major. I mention also the only symphony of Franck in D minor considering numerous common features with his chamber music. We can find here also composerś youth when he was a child prodigy, his friendship with-known personalities ( as F.Liszt) and last but not least his mature period, when he composed his main work. I have to bring out that his works were some of the finest organ pieces to come from France in over a century, and laid the groundwork for the French symphonic organ style. We also get to know that as an organist he was particulary noted for his skill in improvisation, and is considered by many the greatest composer of organ music after J.S.Bachś successo

César Franck and his chamber music

Tato práce pojednává o velké osobnosti romantické hudby 19.století Césaru Franckovi, jakožto skladateli, varhaníkovi a také hudebním pedagogovi. Velice významnou část zabírají Franckovy komorní skladby, kterým se zde dopodrobna věnuji. Je to zejména klavírní trio fis moll, klavírní trio h moll, klavírní kvintet f moll, smyčcový kvartet D dur a samozřejmě sonáta pro housle a klavír A dur. Vzhledem k četným společným rysům s komorními skladbami zmiňuji i Franckovu jedinou symfonii d moll.Dočteme se zde o skladatelově mládí, kdy byl zázračným dítětem, také o přátelství se světoznámými hudebními osobnostmi ( např. F.Lisztem) a v neposldní řadě o vrcholném období, kdy zkomponoval svá stěžejní díla. Musím zde uvést i jeho varhanní kompozice, které byly považovány za jedny z nejlepších varhanních francouzských skladeb v průběhu století a položily tak základy pro francouzský symfonický varhanní styl. Dozvíme se také, že jako varhaník vynikal Franck především dovedností improvizace, a je tak právem považován mnoha velkými skladateli za následníka J.S.Bacha

Heat exchanger design for waste air heat recovery

The master’s thesis deals with heat recovery from waste air in a multifunctional hall. The thesis contains a theoretical part that shows required parameters of an indoor environment, a composition of an air handling unit and a description of its individual parts suitable for this purpose. Subsequently a design calculation of a rotary heat exchanger and a plate heat exchanger is made. The calculation contains geometry, heat transfer and pressure drop. Then the heat exchangers are compared and a more suitable option for this application is chosen. Further the thesis includes drawing documentation of both types of heat exchangers

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou emisí oxidu uhličitého, jeho zdroji a legislativu spojenou s emisním obchodováním. První část práce uvádí základní informace, týkající se oxidu uhličitého a jeho produkce. Druhá část shrnuje odvětví, která nejvíce emitují oxid uhličitý. V poslední části je popsána mezinárodní legislativa související s emisními povolenkami a obchodování s uhlíkem.This thesis deals with issues of carbon dioxide emissions, its sources and legislation related to emission trading. The first part of the thesis provides basic information about carbon dioxide and its production. The second part summarizes sectors that emit the most carbon dioxide. The last part describes the international legislation related to emission allowances and carbon trading.

Heat exchanger design for waste air heat recovery

Diplomová práce se zabývá zpětným získáváním tepla z odpadního vzduchu v multifunkční hale. Jejím obsahem je rešeršní část, která uvádí požadované parametry vnitřního prostředí, složení vzduchotechnické jednotky a popis jednotlivých výměníků vhodných pro tento účel. Následuje návrhový výpočet rotačního a deskového výměníku. Součástí výpočtu je geometrie, přenos tepla a tlaková ztráta. Výměníky jsou poté porovnány a je vybrán vhodnější typ pro tuto aplikaci. Role of social worker at basic school

It is a comprehensive characterization of the profession including history, descriptions school of social work in several national systems of education (for example USA, England, Finland, etc.), analysis of target groups and content of school social work, which is supplemented by examples from practice. The empirical part of the work aims to determine whether the elementary schools in Praque are interested in introduction of position of school social worker and reasons of introduction. Other aims are to map the situation in solving educational problems at Prague's elementary schools, the views of the respondents to content of the activity school social worker and his authorization and also to map out how many of Prague's elementary schools have already established. The respondents were directors of the elementary schools, educational consultants and experts in prevention.
