This thesis deals with e-learning (its definition, forms, usage, positive and negative aspects), LMS and LCMS systems, and the basic elements needed for the formation of the interactive teaching aids that could help improve the e-learning quality. The output is a teaching software including visual animations used for learning the basic inorganic produces in the chemical industry (acids, metals, gases productions, etc.) designed especially for the students of the 1st class at the Faculty of Chemistry by Brno University of Technology, and for the general public as well. The visualisations have been created by means of the PC programme Adobe Flash, which offers a wide variety of interesting options to make up numerous animations that are not only illustrative but also visually attractive. The application comprises 20 production animations of basic inorganic compounds which are mostly exploited in the chemical industry, in school labs and during inorganic chemistry lessons. The emphasis is placed on a vivid presentation of the acid production process, and on the interactivity and visual aspect.

Theories and mechanisms of productive employment in the context of Czech pension reform

The result was supported by the students’ project Wealth and poverty as a problem in terms of economics of productive consumption with support for specific university research grant at the University of Finance and Administration 2020.In this article, we have focused on showing the most significant benefits of the approach which motivates individuals to extend the period of their productive lives in the job markets [...]. The aim of the paper is to demonstrate that the focus on voluntary extension of productive employment by means of incentives incorporated into the pay-as-you-go pension scheme can bring significantly greater effects than a general extension of retirement age, in particular when doing the comprehensive solution of this issue and in the long term creating conditions in the form of comprehensive reforms in the areas of social investment and social insurance

THE SOCIOECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT

    Get PDF
Current rapid structural changes in economy have huge consequences for the socioeconomic environment as a whole. The article analyses these changes at macroeconomic level and their relationship to industry, employment, social systems behaviour and performance of businesses connected with human capital development, but also to the (microeconomic) position of individual subjects.  The solutions that are rooted in the acquisition, maintaining and utilizing of human capital will be discussed. We will discuss new incentives for social investment and providing productive services, identify barriers of economic growth in current socioeconomic system and show selected obstacles that prevent productive utilization of human capital. Although these issues are controversial by nature, have deep systemic causes and they cannot be resolved immediately or by simple measures, we take a scientific effort to search for opportunities that support adaptive processes, utilize the human potential that is available and can be improved further when decreasing our dependency on material conditions of existence

The path forward for sustainability of the pension system in a historical context

    Get PDF
The long-term sustainability and stability of the pension insurance system can be provided on the basis of a pay-as-you-go system, specifically the NDC variant, which can combine the main type of solidarity (between those who can and want to be gainfully active and those for whom the insured event has occurred) with income solidarity. When reforming the pension system in this manner the opportunity arises to begin gradual changes through fully merit system reform and therefore significantly motivating of extending the period of productivity (putting off retirement) through the upgrade of this system for persons who have reached the retirement age as specified by law. This paper aims to substantiate and explore possible changes in this direction that will not endanger anyone’s entitlements when the reforms are implemented (they have got the form of Pareto improvement), as they derive their funds by extending the time of individual productivity. To this end, the possibility of introducing an extension on top of current system of pay-as-you-go insurance, which could be entered voluntarily by persons who have already reached or are near statutory retirement age, is proposed, and modeled. The extension would operate on the principle that the paid premiums will be transformed into a lifetime annuity. The system would be significantly motivating which for most people means extending life at the fullest, associated with the option to retain beneficial social contacts and gradually relax their gainful activity without experiencing an untoward decrease in income

The paper presents a complex of information aimed at automated production systems structures and simulation. For production systems intergrated structures formation it uses logistic principles for making the internal material flow among various logistic nodes more precise and effective, including respective information flow, here e. g. with use of integrable and compatibile handling and technological systems, as well

Broad approach of general economic equilibrium

The concept of utility is interpreted (in M. Friedman's intentions) as the present value of future income from investments in human capital occurring in the framework of personal consumption. In this sense consumption is regarded as a productive phenomenon. On this basis the concept of general economic equilibrium can be classified. On the one hand, instead of the disputable theory of social welfare the role of capital market in parallel creating equilibrium between supply and demand of investments opportunities, on the other hand, demand and supply of investment funds is applied. The proposed concept is applicable to explain current changes connected with the transition to knowledge based society.utility, general economic equilibrium, knowledge based society, current value of future income, human capital, investment opportunities, productive consumption

THE EXTENSION OF PAY-AS-YOU-GO PENSION INSURANCE SYSTEM – INCOME AND EXPENDITURE ASPECT

    No full text
The greatest deficit in increasing the dynamics and stability of the economic system is to create incentive and other conditions for extending the time of labour productivity and its utilization in job market. This requires, amongst other things, a fundamental reform of the pension system, based on the precise definition of what an insured event is: not reaching a certain age but the loss of the ability to engage in gainful activity to provide a means of living a dignified life. We propose a general model of gradual reform of the pension system based on voluntary entry into the fully closed and with full merit extension of the current system of pay-as-you-go pension insurance, which exists in the Czech Republic and other countries. Anyone entering this extension after reaching the retirement age gets the payment in the form of life annuities according to what they paid into the system based on the insurance mathematics of the life expectancy. In the paper we present the appropriate economic model. Contrary to previously published outcomes, we also deal with the expenditure side (by drawing resources from this system by older people contrary to the changing needs of living)
