NOVÝ VÝSKYT ANTONÍNECKÉHO SOUVRSTVÍ U KOZOJÍDEK (BĚLOKARPATSKÁ JEDNOTKA)

In the frontal part of the Bílé Karpaty Unit the Upper Cretaceous sediments of the Antonínek Formation were observed in excavation for pond near Kozojídky village. The strata consist of medium to thick rhythmic turbidites composed of poorly sorted silty sandstones, siltstones and calcareous clays, intercalated with rare turbidite layers of limestone mudstones. Foraminifer plankton evidenced the Maastrichtian age of strata. The new find indicates the tectonic slice of the Antonínek Formation not detected during previous geological survey

Management of febrile neutropenia

Neutropenie je závažnou a velmi častou komplikací protinádorové chemoterapie. Febrilní neutropenie je závažným následkem neutropenie způsobené protinádorovou chemoterapií, často vede k hospitalizaci, nutnosti parenterálního podání antibiotik a letálnímu konci. Při terapii hematologických malignit dochází k rozvoji febrilní neutropenie téměř u všech nemocných, léčba solidních tumorů je zatížena přítomností této komplikace cca v 10 - 20 procentech. V poslední době, zejména v posledních dvou desetiletích, došlo k významnému pokroku v profylaxi a terapii této obávané komplikace, hlavním přínosem bylo bezesporu zavedení růstových faktorů granulocytopoezy. Historickému přehledu se věnuje samostatná kapitola této práce. Tato práce si klade za cíl pojednat komplexně o febrilních neutropeniích způsobených především protinádorovou chemoterapií, věnovat se vývoji možností profylaxe a terapie a rovněž srovnat doporučené postupy na různých pracovištích, která se těmito komplikacemi zabývají. Poslední část je věnována ekonomickým aspektům terapie febrilních neutropenií růstovými faktory granulocytopoezy.Neutropenia is a severe and very frequent complication of anticancer chemotherapy. Febrile neutropenia is a serious consequence of neutropenia caused by cancer chemotherapy, often leads to hospitalization, need of parenteral antibiotics and lethal end. The therapy hematologic malignancies are developing febrile neutropenia almost all patients, the treatment of solid tumors is affected by the presence of complications in about 10 to 20 percent. Lately, especially in the last two decades, there has been a significant progress in the prevention and treatment of this dreaded complication main contribution was undoubtedly the introduction of growth factors granulocytopoezy. This work aims to comprehensively discuss the febrile neutropenia caused by cancer chemotherapy in particular, pursue development opportunities prophylaxis and therapy and also compare best practices in different departments dealing with these deal with complications.
