STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE ACCESS OF NEW MEDICATIONS AND HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES

    Get PDF
The reimbursement system for drugs and medical devices is a significant factor that defines their accessibility and affordability. Due to increasing prices in healthcare worldwide, the last decades are characterized by the infusion of innovative approaches to cost-containment in healthcare and by the restriction of the ineffective or insufficiently effective technologies utilization. The requirements for including new drugs and medical devices into reimbursement lists have increased. Evidence of cost-effectiveness and budget impact of new technologies is more and more often required when dossier for health technology assessment (HTA) is submitted. The history of approaches and requirements to clinical and economical analysis from the regulatory authorities’ point of view are considered in the article. Key words: reimbursement system for drugs and medical devices, restrictive lists, effectiveness of medical technologies, appraisal of new technologies, budget impact analysis, HTA dossier. Matrix Synthesis of Magnetic Nanowires

    Get PDF
In this work nanowires of magnetic metals (Co,Ni and Fe) were obtained via matrix synthesis, using etched track polymer template. The new data on electrodeposition of Ni was obtained. Two effects- the growth rate decrease (while the growing metal nanowires are filling the pores) and current density in-crease were investigated and discussed. The results of X-rays analysis obtained using synchrotrone source demonstrated the dependence of structure and composition of nanowires on the deposition voltage. Mossbauer spectroscopy was used for in-vestigation of Fe samples. The obtained data are in good agreement with X-rays results. The purpose of the present research - a clinical estimation of mental changes at carrying out of operations interlaminar ring keratoplasty. 21 patient (7 males and 14 females) were studied. Their middle age was 36,4±9,4 years. All patients have been operated by a method interlaminar ring keratoplasty. On a current of the preoperative period all patients have been divided into 4 subgroups: without psychopathological semiology (11-52,4%), with asteno-depressive semiology (5-23,8%), with disturbing semiology (2-9,5%), with disturbing-depressive semiology (3-14,3 %). With psychopathological displays in the preoperative period (with asteno-depressive, it is disturbing-phobical, disturbing-depressive semiology) we have united patients in one group, at them neurotism level was statistically significantly above, than at patients without the psychopathological phenomena (10,7 ± 2,1 vs 14,2 ± 1,3, р ≤ 0,05). The highest neurotism level was found out in patients with disturbing-depressive reactions. Level of alarm at surveyed at the moment of inspection has made 13,2 ± 1,1 that corresponds to an average (with the tendency to low) to alarm level. Level of depression at the surveyed has made 5,7 ± 1,2, only at 3 patients it was above normal (10,1 ± 2,3). At patients with myopia high degree before operation interlaminar keratoplasty the asteno-depressive and disturbing reactions connected with personal features of patients were observed

Star product and the general Leigh-Strassler deformation

    Get PDF
We extend the definition of the star product introduced by Lunin and Maldacena to study marginal deformations of N=4 SYM. The essential difference from the latter is that instead of considering U(1)xU(1) non-R-symmetry, with charges in a corresponding diagonal matrix, we consider two Z_3-symmetries followed by an SU(3) transformation, with resulting off-diagonal elements. From this procedure we obtain a more general Leigh-Strassler deformation, including cubic terms with the same index, for specific values of the coupling constants. We argue that the conformal property of N=4 SYM is preserved, in both beta- (one-parameter) and gamma_{i}-deformed (three-parameters) theories, since the deformation for each amplitude can be extracted in a prefactor. We also conclude that the obtained amplitudes should follow the iterative structure of MHV amplitudes found by Bern, Dixon and Smirnov.Comment: 21 pages, no figures, JHEP3, v2: references added, v3: appendix A added, v4: clarification in section 3.

Impurity effect on low-temperature polarisation of the charge-density-waves in o-TaS3_3

The temperature dependence of the low-temperature dielectric response is studied in o-TaS3_3 samples doped by Nb, Se, and Ni and for nominally pure ones. It is found, that the low-temperature dielectric constant depends anomalously on doping and is higher for doped crystals, whereas the temperature dependence of the characteristic time of all samples follows the activation law with nearly the same activation energy 400\sim 400 K (T>20 K). The observed behaviour is inconsistent with all available explanations of the low-temperature dielectric anomaly.Comment: RevTex, 12 pages, epsf, 2 postscript Figures. Metallic Nanowires on the Base of Porous Matrixes: Obtaining by Galvanic Replication, Structure and Some Properties

    Get PDF
In this work nanowires (Co, Ni and Fe) were obtained via template synthesis, using etched track polymer matrix. The peculiarity of electrodeposition of Co and Ni was investigated and discussed: When filling the pores of a small diameter (0.1 and 0.2 microns) the dependence of current on time passes through a minimum. It can be supposed that the difficulties, appearing while filling nanosized pores, are related to the peculiarities of diffusion in narrow channels. The electrolyte for Fe deposition into nanosized pores was selected, the necessity of agitation was demonstrated. The results of X-rays analysis demonstrate that obtained wires have polycrystalline structure, which slightly depends on the deposition voltage. Mossbauer spectroscopy was used for investigation of Fe samples. The obtained sextet corresponds to α-Fe with polycrystalline structure. Two types of Fe atoms were found. The presence of two types of oxides was also detected. When you are citing the document, use the following link http://essuir.sumdu.edu.ua/handle/123456789/3494

Instanton test of non-supersymmetric deformations of the AdS_5 x S^5

    Get PDF
We consider instanton effects in a non-supersymmetric gauge theory obtained by marginal deformations of the N=4 SYM. This gauge theory is expected to be dual to type IIB string theory on the AdS_5 times deformed-S^5 background. From an instanton calculation in the deformed gauge theory we extract the prediction for the dilaton-axion field \tau in dual string theory. In the limit of small deformations where the supergravity regime is valid, our instanton result reproduces the expression for \tau of the supergravity solution found by Frolov.Comment: 15 page

Regularizing Property of the Maximal Acceleration Principle in Quantum Field Theory

    Get PDF
It is shown that the introduction of an upper limit to the proper acceleration of a particle can smooth the problem of ultraviolet divergencies in local quantum field theory. For this aim, the classical model of a relativistic particle with maximal proper acceleration is quantized canonically by making use of the generalized Hamiltonian formalism developed by Dirac. The equations for the wave function are treated as the dynamical equations for the corresponding quantum field. Using the Green's function connected to these wave equations as propagators in the Feynman integrals leads to an essential improvement of their convergence properties.Comment: 9 pages, REVTeX, no figures, no table
