AbstractThe inverse spectral problem of recovering pencils of second-order differential operators on the half-line with turning points is studied. We establish properties of the spectral characteristics, give a formulation of the inverse problem, prove a uniqueness theorem and provide a constructive procedure for the solution of the inverse problem

Abstract. We study an inverse spectral problem for arbitrary order ordinary differential equations on noncompact star-type graphs. As the main spectral characteristics we introduce and study the so-called Weyl-type matrices which are a generalization of the Weyl function for the classical Sturm-Liouville operator. We provide a procedure for constructing the solution of the inverse problem and prove its uniqueness

The article examines the current state and main trends in the development of Ukrainian households under the influence of russian aggression and outlines the main investment opportunities of households in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. The study is aimed at identifying the opportunities for transforming household savings into an investment resource for economic development based on an analysis of the current state of Ukrainian households in the process of post-war recovery. The theoretical and methodological basis of the article was the scientific works of domestic and foreign scholars on this topic. The set aim was achieved by a sequential problem solving using the dialectical, historical, and logical approaches. The investment behavior of households is formed under the influence of many factors. Investment decisions are influenced by internal factors such as the age structure of the household, its financial situation, educational level and the availability of investment skills of household members, etc. The formation of financial resources and investment potential of households is also influenced by macro-environment factors, e. g.: trends in economic globalization, expansion of labor markets, migration processes, etc. Household investment resources will be of strategic importance for the national economy during the post-war recovery. Among the priority tasks that need to be addressed for more effective attraction of household savings (including those with labor migrants) as an investment resource for the recovery and development of the country’s economy are: increasing the level of financial literacy of the population; stimulating the development of the stock market and simplifying households’ access to government bonds and other financial instruments; development of mechanisms for attracting financial resources of migrants and representatives of the diaspora that are considered as investments in the development of local social and infrastructure projects. Taking into account foreign experience, further scientific research is required on the creation of the necessary conditions for the reproduction and development of human capital by households (taking into account demographic changes and migration flows), the growth of household savings (including those with labor migrants) and the development of stimulating mechanisms for their transformation into investment capital for the reproduction and development of the economy of Ukraine at both the State and local levels

    Relapses In multiple sclerosis.

Exact causes of contradictions in the understanding of relapsing course as characteristic phenomenon of multiple sclerosis (MS) and primarily relapsing-remitting type are still considered to be “sub rosa”. We tried to determine connection and correlation between seasonal dynamic factors, chronometric parameters of disease progression (age, disease duration) and frequency of relapses and the role of gender differences as well. A four-year prospective study included complete registration of all cases of MS exacerbations in resident patients with a relapsing-remmiting course of the disease according to McDonald criteria in Volyn region of Ukraine in 2010. Each patient had neurological score based on EDSS scale to ensure compliance with inclusion criteria. 128 patients (44 males and 84 females) with a remitting-recurring course of the disease were involved in this study. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 18, MedCalc and Microsoft Excel software using standard descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis. In total, 197 cases of MS relapses were registered. Episodes of relapses prevailed in winter-spring period. Multiple regression model including suggested climate factors showed multiple correlation coefficient – 0.55 (p<0.01). The prevalence of MS was higher in females, while general incidence of recurrences was similar to males. However, relapse rate in different age groups differs: the rate of recurrence increases in women aged after 50 years (mean annualized relapse rate (ARR)=0.66), while it slowly decreases in men with aging. The duration of the disease did not have significant effect on the course of MS in women, whereas weak negative relationship (0.24, p<0.001) between the duration of the disease and the frequency of MS in men was showed. Correspondingly, the average negative correlation (-0.37, p<0.001) was detected between the age of disease onset and the incidence of MS recurrence in males, while this connection was not observed in females. We established that the recurrence of MS is a result of multifactorial influence of external and internal factors. Individual seasonal climate variability did not have sufficient force of influence. Therefore, combined effect of corresponding climate changes played a significant role. Furthermore, it is quite probable that interactions of MS with external factors influencing the human body can be mutually integrated

Globalization processes accelerate the pace of scientific and technological progress and innovation and require investment in innovation to enhance the efficiency of the national economy of our state and some of its branches, inter–industry complexes and sub–complexes at the level of developed countries. The article examines the current state of investment in agriculture of Ukraine. The main criteria to encourage capital investment taking into account regional peculiarities capital investment in agriculture. The necessity of attracting external sources of investment in the future to enhance investment processes in agriculture. Thus, the study of the current situation of investment activity of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine and structural analysis of sources of investment in agriculture, to determine that the trend of improving investment for 2010–2014., Changed deterioration in 2015 and complication of financing conditions from their own field investment. So one of the essential ways to increase the competitiveness of the industry is an effective investment policy aimed at attracting large–scale foreign investment sources, especially through financial investment. Addressing these and other issues will significantly increase investment flows and rational use of funds in the industry.В статье рассмотрено современное состояние инвестиционной деятельности в сельском хозяйстве Украины. THE PROGNOSTIC VALUE OF BLOOD MARKERS IN PREDICTION OF THE PROBABILITY OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF FIBROTIC PROCESS IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEPATITIS C VIRUS

    Get PDF
Introduction. Recently, a negative trend of increasing the levels of prevalence, disability and mortality caused by chronic viral hepatitis C (HCV) infection has been determined. Around the world is defined 0.6-10.0 % suffer from chronic HCV (about 71 million with an annual increase of 1.75 million cases). Even higher are the levels of HCV seropositivity, which according to the WHO are about 100 million people (1.6 % of the world population). The WHO identified the need to improve the diagnosis of chronic HCV and to identify its asymptomatic forms and irreversible consequences (liver fibrosis and liver cirrhosis). Increasing the effectiveness of existing and developing new diagnostic approaches to improve early detection of chronic HCV and its consequences (liver fibrosis) is an urgent issue. The aim. To determine the prognostic possibilities of blood markers for the diagnosis of the development of the fibrotic process in chronic viral hepatitis C. Materials and methods. 78 people were examined: 47 (main group) – with chronic HCV and 31 – without chronic HCV (comparison group). Results. Probable associations with increased risks of development of LF in chronic HCV were: increased Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV) (OR=4.305; 95.0 % CI 1.187-15.619; p=0.026) and Platelets (OR=0.955; 95.0 % CI 0.922-0.989; p=0.011), which indicated increased chances of developing LF in chronic HCV when exceeding the standard MCH indicators (by 4.305 times) and reduced chances – when increasing Platelets (on 4,5 %). Conclusions. Based on the research, it was determined that blood markers can be used as a significant predictor of the development of LF of patients with chronic HCV. Increased levels of MCH and Platelets in blood serum characterize a significant relationship with the development of LF in patients with chronic HCV, which indicates a significant influence of blood markers on the pathogenesis of LF in patients with chronic HCV
