Drawing the Line: The Jurisprudence of Non-Consensual Pornography and the Implications of Kanye West’s \u3cem\u3eFamous\u3c/em\u3e Music Video

In June 2016, American rapper Kanye West premiered the music video for Famous from his seventh studio album “The Life of Pablo.” West’s Famous music video, inspired by Vincent Desiderio’s painting Sleep, features nude replications of several celebrities lying together on a bed. The cinematography is voyeuristic, with one journalist describing the video as “predatory.” In making and publicizing the infamous music video, West failed to seek and acquire the consent of several of the individuals featured. The production received both considerable praise and backlash from artists, critics, and the celebrities depicted. This Note discusses the jurisprudence of non-consensual pornography, known as “revenge porn,” in the United States. While non-consensual pornography legislation advocates push for federal criminalization of non-consensual pornography, opponents raise issues of First Amendment violations and “Internet exceptionalism.” This Note explores West’s Famous music video’s relation to NCP, examining instances in which art has blurred the line between legal and illegal conduct or content

En este trabajo se revisan diferentes medicamentos y soluciones que se pueden utilizar en infusiones continuas con bombas de infusión por vía endovenosa. La mayoría de estas soluciones y medicamentos se utilizan en situaciones de emergencia o de cuidados intensivos. Se describen varias situaciones clínicas en las que la utilización de estos productos está indicada, así como diferentes fórmulas y tablas que nos permiten calcular la cantidad de medicamento a administrar o la frecuencia de administración según el peso del perro

La crisi econòmica ha comportat dramàtiques conseqüències d'impacte social, una de les més rellevants és la pèrdua de l'habitatge de centenars de milers de persones a l'Estat Espanyol. Moltes famílies no poden fer front a les quotes hipotecàries del seu habitatge habitual i a partir de dos impagaments, l'entitat financera pot interposar una demanda judicial i s'inicia el procés d'execució hipotecària. Aleshores es subhasta l'immoble i si no es ven, la llei preveu que l'entitat s'adjudiqui l'habitatge pel 60% del seu valor mentre que la família es queda amb el deute restant i és desnonada. A Espanya s'han donat unes 400 mil execucions hipotecàries entre 2007 y 2012 i uns 200 mil desnonaments desde 2008. Catalunya és la segona Comunitat Autònoma de la llista (després d'Andalusia i València). En el cas de la ciutat de Terrassa les xifres serien de l'ordre de tres desnonaments diaris durant el període del 2009 al 2012.La crisis económica ha generado consecuencias sociales dramáticas, una de las más relevantes es la perdida de la vivienda de centenares de miles de personas en el Estado Español. Muchas familias no pueden sufragar las cuotas hipotecarias de su vivienda habitual y con solo dos impagos, la entidad financiera puede interponer una demanda judicial, con la que se inicia el proceso de ejecución hipotecaria. Entonces se subasta el inmueble y si nadie puja, la ley prevé que dicha entidad se adjudique la vivienda por el 60% de su valor mientras que la familia es desahuciada y la deuda restante permanece. En España ha habido más de 400 mil ejecuciones hipotecarias desde 2007 y unos 200 mil desahucios desde 2008. Catalunya es la segunda Comunidad Autónoma del ranking (después de Andalucía y Valencia). En el caso de la ciudad de Terrassa las cifras son del orden de tres desahucios al día desde 2009 hasta 2012.The economic crisis has led to dramatic social consequences; among the most important ones the loss of housing for hundreds of thousands of people within the Spanish State. Many families cannot afford their residence mortgage payments and with only two missed payments the lender entity can file a lawsuit and this gets the foreclosure process started. Then the process continues with an auction for the property and if nobody bids, the law provides that such entity awards the housing for only 60% of its value while the family is evicted still carrying the remaining debt. In Spain more than 400,000 foreclosures have taken place since 2007 and about 200,000 evictions since 2008. Catalonia is the second region of the ranking (after Andalusia and Valencia). In the case of Terrassa the city's figures show that there are about three evictions per day in the period from 2009 to 2012.Peer Reviewe

Relaciones entre familia y escuela. Estudio de caso de un centro público de nueva creación en Barcelona

Treballs Finals del Grau de Sociologia, Facultat d'Economia i Empresa, Universitat de Barcelona, Curs: 2016-2017 , Tutor: Alberto Martín Pérez(spa) Este trabajo analiza las relaciones entre familia y escuela en un centro público de nueva creación en la ciudad de Barcelona. Se han realizado para ello entrevistas semi-estructuradas a distintos integrantes del centro y el posterior análisis cualitativo de su contenido. Partiendo del supuesto que las nuevas maternidades y paternidades tienen como característica una mayor involucración en la educación de sus hijos/as, se analiza y describe, primero, el contexto actual en torno a la escolarización en Barcelona y, luego, la relación que se establece entre los familiares y el equipo docente del centro con el objetivo de aportar un caso concreto al debate actual sobre sobre las relaciones entre familia y escuela.(eng) This work analyzes the relations between family and school in a new creation public center in the city of Barcelona. For this purpose, semi-structured interviews were carried out with different members of the center and the subsequent qualitative analysis of their content. Starting from the assumption that the new maternity and paternities have a greater involvement in the education of their children, we analyze and describe, first, the current context around schooling in Barcelona and then the relationship established between families and the teaching team of the center with the objective of contributing a concrete case to the current debate on the relations between family and school
