    Resolutions of Conflicts among Radical Beliefs through the Wisdom of Cultural Values

    This study seeks to identify a form of cultural reconciliation applied by the community to the radical belief clash between Dayak Indramayu mysticism and the Muslim community in Indramayu Regency, West Java, Indonesia. This study employed a strategy for resolving cultural conflicts by collecting data via observation and in-depth interviews with both parties. This investigation yielded multiple findings. First, the fight between Dayak Indramayu and Muslims in the Indramayu Regency is a religious dispute. The crisis began when the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) labelled Dayak Indramayu group as heretical. Following the labelling, Dayak Indramayu responded by criticizing Islamic religious leaders who engage in numerous unethical behaviours. Second, although this dispute affected religious leaders on both sides, it had no effect on the religious followers at the grassroots level. Thirdly, religious conflicts involving religious leaders and beliefs can naturally lessen due to the community-owned and religious leader-guided cultural framework. The author identifies this as a cultural resolution to religious problems. This study contributes to two aspects. First, as a model for resolving interfaith problems that can be replicated abroad through the application of cultural values' wisdom. Second, this idea of resolution contributes to the corpus of religious studies on the management of religious conflicts founded in radical views

    Religion that preached by means of persuasive with acculturation patterns, more easily accepted. And it create a new color in the existing cultural traditions. Klutuk farmers with all the ritual tradition is entrenched, able to accept the arrival of a new religion due to the new value that does not exclude and offend them as people who have been cultured before. Hinduism and Buddhism that come later, patterned religion earth, existence is able to maintain and further strengthen that tradition. Until Islam came, although he patterned sky religion whose mission is to spread (da'wah) teachings, but do not lead to conflict with the tradition of the klutuk farmers. The result, in addition to reinforce, is also able to fill the spiritual void by providing transcendent value and a new outlook on the tradition.     Mencegah Tindak Kekerasan pada Anak di Lembaga Pendidikan

    The role of Pusat Pelayanan Terpadu Pem­ber­dayaan Perempuan dan Anak (P2TP2A)—translated in English: the Integrated Service Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children— in the context of development is very important in order to oversee the government's steps in minimizing and handling cases of violence against women and children which are getting higher intensity from year to year, especially in educational institutions in the form of peer violence and violence by teacher. This study seeks to describe the collaboration of P2TP2A and the Education Office of Depok City in preventing violence against children in educational insti­tutions. Observation and documentation studies are used as data collection techniques and qualitative descriptive analysis. This study produces findings including: 1) collab­oration of P2TP2A and the Education Agency in the prevention of violence against children in the educational environment carried out in the form of socialization “Stop violence on children” and the establishment of children's Forums; 2) involvement of P2TP2A in the recruitment of teachers and principals. The form of collaboration still needs to be improved, especially in the preparation of hidden curriculum programs for handling violence, budgeting violence prevention activities for children in the school environment, and strengthening the authority of prevention until the handling of violence against women and children. This collaboration is at least a starting point that Depok becomes one of the regions that is highly committed in realizing Child Friendly Cities so that children's rights in the context of education can be fulfilled and the number of violence against children can be minimized

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Efektivitas kerja karyawan pada Staff Kampus Universitas Pamulang – Tangerang Selatan. Faktor-faktor tersebut yaitu kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja. Meningkatnya kualitas kepemimpinan yang baik dan lingkungan kerja yang memadai akan memberikan dampak positif bagi organisasi, sehingga tujuan tercapai. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tabel kepemimpinan (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian secara simultan menunjukan kedua variabel bebas berarti yaitu kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja  karyawan dengan nilai F hitung 178.821  (lebih besar dari Ftable 3,09), dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja karyawan pada Staff Kampus Universitas Pamulang – Tangerang Selatan

    PERANCANGAN TROLI SEBAGAI ALAT BANTU ANGKUT GALON AIR DENGAN METODE ANTROPOMETRI

    Abstrak Meningkatnya konsumsi air galon mengakibatkan peningkatan kebutuhan troli untuk memindahkan galon air. Berdasarkan pengamatan di bagian pemindahan galon air oxygen dari bagian bongkar ke konsumen, ada keluhan dari pekerja mengenai penggunaan troli yakni masalah ketika melewati anak tangga sehingga pekerja harus mengangkat galon tersebut dengan tangan untuk melewati anak tangga. Hal ini berdampak pada berkurangnya produktivitas kerja, timbulnya rasa sakit pada pekerja baik yang bersifat sementara maupun permanen, meningkatnya kemungkinan terjadi kecelakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rapid Entire Body Assesment (REBA) dalam menganalisis postur pekerja di agen air isi ulang galon dan dapat merancang trolly yang ergonomis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keadaan postur pekerja isi ulang air minum saat mengangkat galon dan risiko yang ada, menciptakan produk troli sebagai alat bantu angkut naik dan turun tangga untuk galon air yang nyaman sesuai dengan kajian ergonomis dan dengan kebutuhan konsumen, dan mengetahui besaran pengaruh rancangan trolly yang baru terhadap mengurangi keluhan pada pekerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari analisis metode REBA didapatkan aktivitas mengangkut galon ke anak tangga dengan nilai skor REBA tertinggi yaitu sebesar 9 dan nilai action level 3 kemudian dari perbaikan pada alat untuk megankut air galon ke anak tangga didapatkan nilai skor REBA sebesar 3 dan nilai action level sebesar 2 sehingga tidak membahayakan bagi pekerja, kemudian perancangan troli ini telah memberikan kenyamanan bagi pekerja yang ingin mengangkut dengan ukuran sesuai hasil pengolahan data antropometri yaitu tinggi troli 960 mm, panjang troli 400 mm, dan lebar troli 440 mm serta bisa mengurangi keluhan muskuloskeletal sebesar 26%, mengurangi kelelahan sebesar 37,5%, dan meningkatkan produktifitas sebesar 59,4%

    This study contrasts the concept of color metaphor in English and Indonesian song lyrics. In the concept of color metaphor, meaning must be interpreted based on certain similarities between primary and secondary meanings. This isdescriptive qualitative research. The method used in this research is simak method. Padan method is used to analyze the data.The results show that the concept of color metaphor in English and Indonesian song lyrics have some similarities and differences. The striking similarities are found in the black color metaphor concept which symbolizes darkness, white color symbolizes purity, yellow colorsymbolizesenlightenment, and gray colorsymbolizes sadness. However, the different concepts of color metaphor are found in blue, red, and green colors

    Ngaji Rasa dalam Pandangan Komunitas Dayak Indramayu

    The belief system, in many different aspects, is not created from an empty space. It emerges from many different and extraordinary experiences of human life and has sacred dimension. In practice, however, this belief system needs a medium to be understood and implemented. This research explores the mystical aspect of the belief system among Dayak community in Indramayu by employing field research method. This study shows that Ngaji Rasa is the actualization of the belief system which emerges from the life history of Dayak community in Indramayu among their extraordinary experiences around their world. The doctrine of Ngaji Rasa emphasizes understanding spiritual dimension of the shelf before assessing and judging of others. In addition, include as one principle in Ngaji Rasa is to determine whether one self is ready or not to accept something from others in the relationships between human being and other creatures.  The aphorism of “if being hit was hurt, so do not hit others,” is the principle of Ngaji Rasa in Dayak Indramayu

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan konstruksi kausatif pada novel berbahasa Arab ‘Richlatu Ilal-Ghad’ karya Taufik El-Hakim. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tipologi linguistik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak dengan menggunakan Teknik catat. Sedangkan metode analisis data menggunakan metode agih dengan teknik dasar bagi unsur langsung. Teknik lanjutan menggunakan teknik baca markah. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Konstruksi kausatif leksikal dapat ditemukan beberapa contoh dan pola verba yang dipakai merupakan verba pola I. (2) Konstruksi kausatif morfologis dapat ditemukan pada verba pola II, IV, dan X. (3) Konstruksi kausatif perifratis dapat ditemukan pada pola verba
