Personal pronouns are one of the characteristics that distinguishes each language from others. Personal pronouns are linguistic elements that refer to self-referential words. Personal pronouns in Japanese are classified into three types: first-person pronouns, second-person pronouns, and third-person pronouns. Personal pronouns are increasingly being studied not only in linguistics but also in applied linguistics, such as translation studies. Subtitles are used in audiovisual media translation. This research deals at how Japanese personal pronouns are translated into Indonesian subtitles of Yoshiko Nakamura's anime Tada Never Falls in Love. This study utilized two methods, namely data collection and data analysis. The translational equivalent method has been used in this study. Based on the findings, it is possible to conclude that personal pronouns in both the source and target languages have the same meaning components. There are, however, differences in the "gender" meaning component, with the source language preferring a specific gender and the target language preferring neutrality. Other findings from this study include the notion that subtitles in the target language have an informality tendency in the pronoun equivalent, resulting in the loss of gender-preferred speech of personal pronouns in the source language after translation. Furthermore, word-level equivalence can be gained although some meaning and nuance cannot be displayed in the target language

This study aims to translate songs popularized by Mesut Kurtis in the Tabassam Album. The data of this research are six songs (Tabassam - تَبَسَّمْ, Rouhi Fidak - روْحِيْ فِدَاكْ, Ghar Hira - غَار حِرَاء, Ataytu Bithanbi - أَتَيْتُ بِذَنْبِيْ, Farha - فَرْحَةُ, dan Adnani - عَدْنَانِي) by using the adaptation translation method. After the song is translated, then edited using the VN (Video Editor) application, the video karaoke system is uploaded to the Youtube application. The method used in this research is a qualitative-descriptive method. The results of this study are that the adaptation translation that is carried out is more inclined to adapt aspects of Indonesian language literature by choosing a diction with the same vowel or consonant sound at the end of the song's stanza for example ‘Kenapa kau mempersulit hidupmu sendiri?’ then the next line, ‘Putus asa dan bersedih hati’, both end in the vowel -i. Therefore, in the context of translating this tabassam album, the researcher adapted it by harmonizing the rhymes or the final sound because in this context it describes the Prophet Muhammad and Allah SWT who are universal, so there are no different cultural elements in this song

Research in Research Article (RA) abstract written by native English authors has been widely conducted. Yet, a comparison of RA abstracts written by American authors and Indonesian authors has not been conducted. This paper reports a study on the analysis of research article abstracts written by American and Indonesian authors published in two reputable journals. Data presented are move sequences of 20 Research Article (RA) abstracts from the latest six years issue (2021-2016). The abstracts were selected from a particular discipline, English language teaching and learning, to control the variability. The findings reveal that the salient move sequences of two groups have reflected the stipulated framework of the rhetorical abstracts. The American authors and Indonesian authors complete the moves occasionally within 3 units, 4 units, or 5 units.
