// The following article primarily focuses on three goals: Firstly, it aims to portray Dieter Roth’s lyric poetry, which has so far been poorly received by literary scholars conducting research into German literature, and offer an introduction into its singular form of publication. Secondly, it looks into the implications that the constant referring to one’s own lyrics as »Scheisse« has on the psychology of production and reception. Thirdly, it outlines a systematic aesthetics of one’s own digestion beyond the fixation on individual scatological motifs or master thinkers

Closed Abrikosov Vortices in a Superconducting Cylinder

The new type of solutions of the London equation for type-II superconductors is obtained to describe the ring-shaped (toroidal) Abrikosov vortices. The specific feature of these solutions is the self-consistent localization of both the supercurrent and the magnetic field, enabling one to construct compact magnetic structures inside a superconductor. The torus vortex contraction caused by the vortex instability leads to the destruction of the Cooper pairing and the formation of a normal electron stream in the vicinity of the torus axis. The thermodynamic condition for the excitation of a small closed vortex by a bunch of charged particles contains the fine-structure constant as a determining parameter.Comment: LaTex using revtex, 12 pages. 5 Figures available upon request from [email protected] Accepted for publication in Physica

On the basis of four scenarios, the article outlines divergent presences within recent poetry: 1) parallel medial societies: in the dispute over the Huchel Prize for Zander, 2) epoch-dissimilarity: in the ›Fassadendebatte‹, 3) international interference: in the example of poet laureate; and 4) the abyss of turn-of-the-times diagnostics: in Breyger’s Frieden ohne Krieg

In the process, the transient processes of the GUSAR drive model were studied with the shutter closed, opening, turning several degrees, with a reduced network voltage. The graduation project contains a description of the requirements for an electric drive damper, developed by an algorithm for generating a moment, developed by a model of an electric drive damper in a Matlab Simulink environment. Technical and economic indicators are calculated; The main issues of environmental friendliness and safety of the project are considered

Helium bubble formation in ultrafine and nanocrystalline tungsten under different extreme conditions

We have investigated the effects of helium ion irradiation energy and sample temperature on the performance of grain boundaries as helium sinks in ultrafine grained and nanocrystalline tungsten. Irradiations were performed at displacement and non-displacement energies and at temperatures above and below that required for vacancy migration. Microstructural investigations were performed using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) combined with either in-situ or ex-situ ion irradiation. Under helium irradiation at an energy which does not cause atomic displacements in tungsten (70 eV), regardless of temperature and thus vacancy migration conditions, bubbles were uniformly distributed with no preferential bubble formation on grain boundaries. At energies that can cause displacements, bubbles were observed to be preferentially formed on the grain boundaries only at high temperatures where vacancy migration occurs. Under these conditions, the decoration of grain boundaries with large facetted bubbles occurred on nanocrystalline grains with dimensions less than 60 nm. We discuss the importance of vacancy supply and the formation and migration of radiation-induced defects on the performance of grain boundaries as helium sinks and the resulting irradiation tolerance of ultrafine grained and nanocrystalline tungsten to bubble formatio

Elasticity-driven interaction between vortices in type-II superconductors

The contribution to the vortex lattice energy which is due to the vortex-induced strains is calculated covering all the magnetic field range which defines the vortex state. This contribution is compared with previously reported ones what shows that, in the most part of the vortex state, it has been notably underestimated until now. The reason of such underestimation is the assumption that only the vortex cores induce strains. In contrast to what is generally assumed, both core and non-core regions are important sources of strains in high-κ\kappa superconductors.Comment: 10 pages, 1 figure, revtex

Surface deformation caused by the Abrikosov vortex lattice

In superconductors penetrated by Abrikosov vortices the magnetic pressure and the inhomogeneous condensate density induce a deformation of the ionic lattice. We calculate how this deformation corrugates the surface of a semi-infinite sample. The effect of the surface dipole is included

Self-organization of vortices in type-II superconductors during magnetic relaxation

We revise the applicability of the theory of self-organized criticality (SOC) to the process of magnetic relaxation in type-II superconductors. The driving parameter of self-organization of vortices is the energy barrier for flux creep and not the current density. The power spectrum of the magnetic noise due to vortex avalanches is calculated and is predicted to vary with time during relaxation.Comment: RevTex, 5 pages, 2 PS figures. Accepted in Phys. Rev.
