Truplo bele kokoši
The article treats the most famous corpse in the history of Slovenian theatre, that is, the corpse of a white chicken which was executed in 1969 at the end of the premiere of the theatre project by Group 443 (Theatre Pupilje Ferkverk) entitled Pupilija, papa Pupilo pa Pupilčki. This theatrical performance produced many echoes, which are followed by the author through a philosophical consideration of the role of the corpse and death in contemporary theatre.Prispevek obravnava najbolj slavno truplo v zgodovini slovenskega gledališča, truplo bele kokoši, ki so jo zaklali leta 1969 na koncu premiere gledališkega projekta Skupine 443 oz. Mining, Understanding and Integrating User Preferences in Software Refactoring Using Computational Search, Machine Learning, and Dimensionality Reduction
Search-Based Software Engineering (SBSE) is a software development practice which focuses on couching software engineering problems as optimization problems using metaheuristic techniques to automate the search for near optimal solutions to those problems. While SBSE has been successfully applied to a wide variety of software engineering problems, our understanding of the extent and nature of how software engineering problems can be formulated as automated or semi-automated search is still lacking. The majority of software engineering solutions are very subjective and present difficulties to formally define fitness functions to evaluate them. Current studies focus on guiding the search of optimal solutions rather than performing it. It is unclear yet the degree of interaction required with software engineers during the optimization process and how to reduce it. In this work, we focus on search-based software maintenance and evolution problems including software refactoring and software remodularization to improve the quality of systems. We propose to address the following challenges:
• A major challenge in adapting a search-based technique for a software engineering
problem is the definition of the fitness function. In most cases, fitness functions are
ill-defined or subjective.
• Most existing refactoring studies do not include the developer in the loop to analyze
suggested refactoring solutions, and give their feedback during the optimization process.
In addition, some quality metrics are cost-expensive leading to cost-expensive
fitness functions. Moreover, while quality metrics evaluate the structural improvements
of the refactored system, it is impossible to evaluate the semantic coherence
of the design without user interactions. • Finally, several metrics can be dependent and correlated, thus it may be possible to reduce the number of objectives/dimensions when addressing refactoring problems. To address the above challenges, this work provides new techniques and tools to formulate software refactoring as scalable and learning-based search problem. We proposed novel interactive learning-based techniques using machine learning to incorporate developers knowledge and preferences in the search, resulting in more efficient and cost-effective search-based refactoring recommendation systems. We designed and implemented novel objective reduction SBSE methodologies to support scalable number of objectives. The proposed solutions were empirically evaluated in academic (open-source systems) and industrial
settings.Ph.D.College of Engineering and Computer ScienceUniversity of Michigan-Dearbornhttps://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/138970/1/Dea Final Dissertation.pdfDescription of Dea Final Dissertation.pdf : DissertationDescription of Troh Josselin Dea Signed Certification Form.pdf : Committee signature fil

Epidemiological and Pathological Aspects of Cervical Cancer in Ivory Coast
Abstract: Cervical cancer is the most common and the leading cause of women death in developing countries. Purpose: To specify the epidemiological and pathological characteristics of cervical cancers in Ivory Coast. Material and methods: This was a retrospective and descriptive study on the cervical cancers histologically confirmed and identified from the registers for recording laboratory of pathological anatomy of Abidjan teaching hospital. The study period was 24 years (January 1984 to December 2007). The parameters analyzed were: frequency, age, sociodemographic status, macroscopic and histological aspects and the prognosis. Results: The cervical cancer represented 78.78% (2064 cases) of gynecological cancers, 42.71% of woman cancer and 17.41% of all cancers. The average age was 48.36 years ranging from 2 to 88 years and a peak incidence between 45-54 years (29%). Multiparity was observed 57.04% (n = 231) and the low socioeconomic level was predominant (70.41%). Concerning pathological examination, the tumor lesions were predominantly budding (51.52%). Squamous cell carcinomas (92.88%) were the most frequent of histological types with 95.1% (n = 1823) of invasive carcinomas. The average age of patients with squamous cell carcinoma was 49 years with 41.5 years for intraepithelial carcinomas and 46.8 years for invasive carcinomas. At the prognosis, squamous cell carcinomas were diagnosed most often in stage pT2 (57.41%) and with extra-cervical represented 66.4% (n = 519). Conclusion: Cervical cancer is the most common cancer in Ivory Coast taking into account male and female together. Its poor prognosis associated with late diagnosis should encourage the establishment of a cytology screening program
Violation of women's rights : Female Genital Mutilation FGM
This study intends to analyze the causes of the high prevalence of the practice of female genital mutilations (FGM) in Sudan, Nigeria, and Iraq. For the attainment of this objective, the researcher had used the secondary data collection and the qualitative data analysis method. The results of the study indicate that the factors of culture, religion and society are the three most important ones which had directly contributed towards the high prevalence of FGM in the different developing nations like Sudan, Nigeria and Iraq among others. More importantly, the results also indicate that the practice of is an attempt on the part of the male dominated society of these nations to not only control the sexuality of the women but of almost all the aspects of their life. Furthermore, this ritual while adversely affecting the wellbeing as well as the health of the women and the girls is a gross violation of the human rights or the basic fundamental rights of the girls and the women. In addition to these, it had been seen that although the different nations of the world like Sudan and Iraq in the recent years had taken the help of various measures, legislations and others but they have failed to help these nations to effectively reduce the high prevalence of FGM. However, in the relation mention needs to be made of the nation of Nigeria which in the recent years had been able to reduce the prevalence of FGM by more than half through the usage of adequate implementation and monitoring strategies for the effective usage of the different legislations, regulations and others related to FGM. This as a matter of fact has important implications for the nations like Iraq and Sudan since they also have the option to reduce the high prevalence of FGM in their territory through the usage of similar measures. Lastly, the study recommends the usage of adequate implementation, monitoring and evaluation strategies for the legislations, regulations and others related to FGM, empowerment of women and the spread of required awareness regarding the harmful effects of FGM on the health and the wellbeing of the women for reducing the high prevalence of the same.Due to Convid 19 the presentation was virtual. </p
Climate Change and Internal Displacement
AbstractThere is a major relationship between these two aspects: climate change and IPDs (Internal Displacement Persons) – as climate change is a major challenge for people who faced displacement and leave their shelters – which makes their living conditions worst and it leads result in diminishing the wellbeing of people (Ferris, 2011). Moreover, it has been observed that the researcher has successfully contributed in accomplishing the research concern and attaining the effective results – while involving the role of international Humanitarian Law which is used to protect the needs of climate refugees/people displaced because of climate change – also, the UN Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement can be relevant for meeting the protection needs of people who have been displaced because of climate change. Moreover, the researcher has used critical discussion through effective and factful arguments in the literature review to accomplish the research purpose. Moreover, the investigator involved the analytical and conceptual framework which highly plays a significant role in accomplishing the whole research as it included the concepts and theories which is relevant to the research matter. The researcher included IASC Framework on Durable Solutions for Internal Displaced Persons and the social framework of UNHCR in order to give a proper value to the section. On the other hand, the researcher uses secondary research for collecting data along with thematic/content analysis in order to analyze the research with effective concepts and accurately analyzing the collected information. At last, the research concludes that there are various challenges which the internally displaced people are facing due to the impact of climate change but the researcher included international committees – those are taking actions for resolving the issues of IDPs and refugees such as UNEP, UNIHRC, UNEG, IPCC, and IOM – which significantly contributing for the benefits of IDPs and migrants
Using a psychoanalytic approach, this rereading of Abomo-Maurin's collection of short stories intends to identify what justifies the obsession of the geographic travel for female characters. The quest for therapy that emerges therein, the mode of transport as a metaphor for an analytical cabinet and the therapeutic process that follows are so many strategies that ultimately turn the journey into a bifurcation within for the traveler instead of a displacement in elsewhere. Thus, like a soul therapist, the journey enables peripheral figures, in today’s age of mobility, to free themselves from previous traumas and from any hindrance when encountering otherness.
Taking support on the psychocriticism, this study highlights the unconscious sense of the Henri Lopes' literature. This analyse is structured around three parts. The first part is devoted to the study of the narrative instances. The second part relates to the other actors of the story. It comes out from this textual analysis and exacerbated narcissism, a xexual inversion of the physical and psychological features, and an identity building faintness caracteristics of preoedipus stage. The refuge in the imaginary one and the maternal bosom constitutes a palliative against psychological faintnesses. In fact, face to social traumatisms, the characters resort to a regression at the infantile stage. The obsessional recurrence, under various disguises, of these structures shows the nondesired character well. They confirm a worless discourse, the uncounscious one, which expresses without the author knowing. Actually, these structures present the Lopes' literary work like his unconscious expression. Finally, we compare the textual analysis of previous parts to the author's biography. This part brings to light the real reasons that motivate the presence of unconscious elements. The siociopolitical disruption of the native place and the family environment seem to be the factors that have given information to the ego of the author and promote his leterary vocation, political engagements and professional carrer.PARIS12-CRETEIL BU Multidisc.
