    EKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION

    Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu.  Populasi penelitian  ini adalah siswa kelas X MA Darul Huda Ponorogo Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan sampel diambil secara cluster  random sampling, terpilih  dua kelas sampel. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan  metode Team Assisted Individualization dan kelas kontrol dengan  model  pembelajaran Langsung. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan  metode observasi untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa dan guru, dan metode tes untuk mengetahui  prestasi belajar matematika siswa.. Pada penelitian ini terdapat tiga macam data yang diperoleh, yaitu data kemampuan awal siswa data aktifitas siswa selama mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI, dan data prestasi belajar siswa yang kemudian dianalisis dengan  menggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif dan analisis statistika inferensial. Analisis statistika inferensial yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi uji normalitas, homogenitas sampel, dan analisis kesamaan dua rata-rata (uji independent samples T Test). Analisis statistika dilakukan pada data kemampuan awal dan data prestasi belajar siswa. Hasil yang akan dihasilkan  dari  penelitian  ini adalah  penerapan  alternatif  pembelajaran yang tidak monoton sehingga  dapat  meningkatkan  hasil  belajar  matematika siswa dan perangkat  pembelajaran  (silabus dan  RPP)  yang  berorientasi  pada pembelajaran koperatif  tipe  Team Assisted Individualization.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization mempunyai prestasi belajar yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran langsung.Kata Kunci: Prestasi Belajar, TAI, Pembelajaran Langsung, Efektivitas

    Teaching material is an essential component of learning. Teaching materials for Calculus courses, especially for the Department of Informatics, remains limited and orients towards a collection of materials and questions that cannot overcome the differences in student characteristics. Therefore, in the form of learning modules that can accommodate variations in student characteristics is a crucial need in teaching material. In this study, the learning module based differentiated instruction was compiled by taking into account the different characteristics of student ability levels. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Calculus learning by using learning modules based on differentiated instruction to students' conceptual understanding of the material of qualities and inequalities of absolute value. This research was experimental research and the subjects were the Informatics Engineering students of the University of Darussalam Gontor, enrolled in the first semester in the academic year 2018-2019. The research instrument was tests of conceptual understanding consisting of short-answer problems given at the beginning and the end of learning. The design of this study used One-Group Pretest-Postest Design and data analysis involved a Wilcoxon test due to the small number of subjects (25 people). The results of the analysis showed that the use of the learning modules based on differentiated instruction effectively enhanced the mathematical conceptual understanding of students

    COMPUTATIONAL THINKING ABILITY STUDENTS BASED ON GENDER IN CALCULUS LEARNING

    The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the computational thinking skills of first students of the Department of Informatics Engineering based on genders. This study uses quasi-experimental methods. The subjects in this study were semester two students of the Department of Informatics Engineering in 2019/2020. The research subjects were 34 male students and 23 female students. Methods of data collection using tests and observations. The research instrument used was a computational thinking ability test and an observation sheet. Data analysis using a t-test (independent sample) with analysis prerequisites in normality and homogeneity tests. Test analysis utilizing the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 20. The study of research data shows that there are significant differences between the computational thinking ability of male and female students. The average results of the computational thinking ability test showed that male students' computational thinking ability is better than the female students' computational thinking ability. The male and female students' computational thinking skills reach the generalization stage, where male students can find solutions directly through easy-to-understand and straightforward ideas. Meanwhile, female students can explain the flow and concepts used to solve problems.  AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir komputasi mahasiswa semester awal jurusan Teknik Informatika berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 2 jurusan Teknik Informatika tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Subjek penelitian adalah 34 siswa laki-laki dan 23 siswa perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berpikir komputasi dan lembar observasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dengan prasyarat analisis berupa uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Uji analisis menggunakan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics 20. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir komputasi siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Hasil rata-rata tes kemampuan berpikir komputasi diperoleh bahwa kemampuan berpikir komputasi siswa laki-laki lebih baik daripada kemampuan berpikir komputasi siswa perempuan. Kemampuan berpikir komputasi mahasiswa putra dan putri mencapai tahap generalisasi, dimana mahasiswa putra mampu mencari penyelesaian secara langsung melalui ide sederhana dan mudah dipahami. Sedangkan mahasiswa putri mampu menjelaskan alur dan konsep yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah

    Teknik pomodoro merupakan teknik yang digunakan untuk membagi durasi belajar dan istirahat dengan tepat. Manfaat yang didapat ketika memakai teknik pomodoro yaitu dapat mengasah daya pikir untuk dapat fokus dengan pekerjaan yang sedang dikerjakan. Ketika otak sering dilatih untuk fokus dengan pekerjaan yang sedang dikerjakan, maka pekerjaan tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan baik. Terkadang saat belajar, mahasiswa mulai menurun konsentrasi penglihatan matanya dalam belajar disebabkan pemakaian komputer dalam waktu yang lama. Sedangkan waktu istirahatnya digunakan untuk menatap layar komputer atau smartphone, sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya Computer Vision Syndrom (CVS). Misi dari penelitian ini yaitu sebagai peringatan awal agar terhindar dari CVS. selalu menjaga kesehatan mata ketika waktu istirahat dengan menggunakan aplikasi yang sudah dilengkapi dengan lock screen pada setiap timernya selesai. Perancangan aplikasi dengan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle. Perancangan aplikasi pembelajaran ini menggunakan teknik pomodoro dan lock screen untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam membagai waktu belajar, istirahat dan menjaga kesehatan mata.     The effect of the use of Differentiated Instruction-Based Module on students’ learning motivation

    The use of modules as teaching materials in the learning process is very important in order to improve the learning outcomes. The differentiated instruction based module is a learning module that differentiates instruction based on the differences of students ability level. Thereupon, the objectives of this study were: (1) to find out the differences of students' mathematics learning motivation before and after the use of differentiated instruction-based module, (2) to determine the effect of using differentiated instruction-based learning module on students’ mathematics learning motivation. This study used a quantitative approach and mathematics learning motivation questionnaire as the technique of collecting data. Also, to analyze the data this study used the T-Test (paired Samples T-Test) with the prerequisite of analysis, namely the normality and homogeneity test. Eventually, the results of analysis prerequisite analysis showed that both data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Meanwhile, the results of the t-test showed that there were significant differences between students’ mathematics learning motivation before and after the use of the differentiated instruction based learning module

    The problems faced in the agricultural sector are very huge, from the availability of land, energy, seasonal changes, pest, to crop failure. The development of modern technology is expected to help overcome some of the problems that occur. In this study will integrate microcontroller technology in agriculture. The research method starts from the stage of making greenhouses starting with designing images of smart greenhouse models. Then the stage of making a greenhouse frame from wood, for the manufacture of plant shelf frames using iron, assembling electric power generating components, making automatic control systems on the greenhouse, making formulas on Arduino Uno, testing the temperature and humidity in the greenhouse, making the plant rack manipulator on the smart  greenhouse. The short-term goal of this control system is expected to help the performance of farmers  or greenhouse management officers in controlling the watering of the crops they plant in the greenhouse, so that one day the manager does not have to always go to the greenhouse when they want to water the plants or check soil moisture.The trial was carried out for 30 days with soil temperature and humidity parameters The result, when the air temperature in the greenhouse is more than 32 C, the fan will turn on. The fan causes hot air to come out. when the temperature reaches 25 C the fan will turn off. Then when the soil moisture value on the LCD shows 17.11%, the water pump will turn on. Water from the pump is flowed to the plant media to keep the soil moist. when the value of soil moisture exceeds 70.31%, the water pump will automatically turn off. From this result, the system can be applied in building integrated farming systems and smart greenhouses

    Eksperimentasi Mobile Learning Pada Mata Kuliah Kalkulus Integral Ditinjau Dari Kemampuan Bekerjasama

    The covid-19 pandemic period like now requires to find an alternative learning that is effectively used. It drives a changing method of learning from face-to-face to online. One alternative in learning today is the use of smartphones or commonly referred to as mobile learning. This study aims to determine: 1) differences in student mathematics learning achievement with learning through mobile learning and google classroom, 2) interaction between learning through mobile learning and the ability to work together with students towards mathematics learning achievement, 3) differences in student mathematics learning achievement at the level of ability cooperate. The subjects of this study were students of the Mathematics Education Study Program STKIP Pamane Talino who took 68 Integral Calculus courses consisting of 2 classes. The research was conducted in 5 meetings. Each group was taught with the same material. The instruments in this study were test and questionnaire. The research method used was quasi experiment with 2x3 factorial design approach. The data analysis test used was the two-way ANAVA test with the analysis prerequisites in the form of a normality test and a homogeneity test. The results of data analysis show that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous. Thus, it can be concluded that: (1) learning with Mobile Learning media is more effective than learning with Google Classroom media, (2) the level of ability to work together high, medium and low gives different effects on student mathematics learning achievements and (3) students with all levels of ability to work with learning media Mobile Learning and Google Classroom provide equally good learning achievements
