L1599B: Cloud Envelope and C+ Emission in a Region of Moderately Enhanced Radiation Field

We study the effects of an asymmetric radiation field on the properties of a molecular cloud envelope. We employ observations of carbon monoxide (12CO and 13CO), atomic carbon, ionized carbon, and atomic hydrogen to analyze the chemical and physical properties of the core and envelope of L1599B, a molecular cloud forming a portion of the ring at approximately 27 pc from the star Lambda Ori. The O III star provides an asymmetric radiation field that produces a moderate enhancement of the external radiation field. Observations of the [CII] fine structure line with the GREAT instrument on SOFIA indicate a significant enhanced emission on the side of the cloud facing the star, while the [Ci], 12CO and 13CO J = 1-0 and 2-1, and 12CO J = 3-2 data from the PMO and APEX telescopes suggest a relatively typical cloud interior. The atomic, ionic, and molecular line centroid velocities track each other very closely, and indicate that the cloud may be undergoing differential radial motion. The HI data from the Arecibo GALFA survey and the SOFIA/GREAT [CII] data do not suggest any systematic motion of the halo gas, relative to the dense central portion of the cloud traced by 12CO and 13CO.Comment: 9 Figure

Transient osteoporosis or transient bone edema syndrome is a rare, self-limiting disease that can affect pregnant women. The etiology is unknown and most common location is the hips. We present a case of tran - sient osteoporosis of the knee during pregnancy, with complete clinical and radiological resolution after 10 months

Coaching in Context Fidelity Measure: A Linguistic Validation to Hispano-America Spanish

Introduction Coaching in Context (CinC) is an emerging intervention approach used by occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs). A growing body of literature has found CinC to be effective when used by OTPs with various clients. The CinC approach was manualized by publishing a visual representation of the model and developing a fidelity measure. Both were written in English by North American English-speaking researchers. Recently, the CinC Fidelity Measure was translated into Spanish to be used by Spanish-speaking OTPs but there was a need to conduct a linguistic validation to avoid difficulties in implementation, due to poor comprehension, and avoid inaccurate, misinterpreted, or erroneous conclusions. Objectives The aim of this study was to conduct the linguistic validation of the Spanish version of the CinC Fidelity Measure. The three primary objectives were (1) identify modifications to the CinC Fidelity Measure Spanish version for cultural relevancy in Hispano-America, (2) establish accuracy of terminology of the CinC Fidelity Measure Spanish version, and (3) confirm linguistic validation of the CinC Fidelity Measure Spanish version. Methods This study was a cross-sectional qualitative study using cognitive debriefing with think aloud methodology. The linguistic validation process followed the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcome Research guidelines (ISPOR) for patient-report outcomes translation and linguistic validation good research practice. Results Eight items were modified to improve comprehension and clarity; two items were modified to change passive to active voice; four items were modified to correct grammatical errors specific to Spanish; and no modifications were needed in 22 of the 36 items. No changes were needed due for cultural sensitivity. Conclusion CinC Fidelity Measure Spanish version now have high levels of comprehension, congruency, and content equivalence with the English version of the CinC Fidelity Measure. Spanish-speaking occupational therapist practitioners (OTPs) can use it in their native language and implement it with minimal risk of misinterpreted, or erroneous conclusions. Snowmass Early Career: The Key Initiatives Organization

In April 2020, the 2019 and 2020 American Physical Society's Division of Particles and Fields (APS DPF) Early Career Executive Committee (ECEC) members were tasked with organizing the formation of a representative body for High-Energy Physics (HEP) early career members for the Snowmass process by the DPF Executive Committee. Here, we outline the structure we developed and the process we followed to help provide context and guidance for future early career Snowmass efforts. Our organization was composed of a cross-frontier branch with committees on Inreach, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Survey, and Long Term Organizational Planning; in addition to the Frontier Coordination branch, formed by committees responsible for liaising with each Frontier. Throughout this document, the authors reflect on the triumphs and pitfalls of a program created from nothing over a very short period of time, by people with good intentions, who had no prior experience in building such an organization. Through this exercise of reflecting, we sometimes find that we would recommend a different path to our future selves. Insomuch as there are things to find fault with, it is in the robustness of the systems we built and refined.Comment: contribution to Snowmass 2021, 16 pages, 0 figure

Ostheocondritis in the hand is a rare process. Only two cases were reported in the previous litera - ture. In this report we present a 10 years old boy with pain and a few functional limitation in second metacarpal phalangeal joint for weeks. With the final diagnosis of osteochondritis dissecans we performed surgery. Intraope - ratively the cartilage flap was removed and some drilling was realized. Before one year the patient was asympto - matic and we observed an improvement of articular surface
