Amino acid sequence of the chymotryptic protease II from the larvae of the hornet, Vespa crabro
AbstractThe covalent structure of the chymotrypsin II from the larvae of the hornet, Vespa crabro, has been determined. The sequence has been deduced from 3 sets of overlapping peptides generated by trypsin after modification of the lysine or arginine residues and by chymotrypsin. The enzyme is a serine endopeptidase and contains 218 residues in a single polypeptide chain cross-linked by 3 disulfide bonds. Alignment of the sequence of this insect protease with those of chymotrypsin, elastase and trypsin shows about 35% identity with each and a homologous relationship is evident
ABSTRACTBioplastic is one type of plastic made from renewable biomass sources such as vegetable oil, corn starch, pea starch and microbiota. In this research bioplastic is made from blend of tapioca starch and cornstarch with the addition of acetic acid as catalyst and glycerol as plasticizer. This research is to know the best composition of various test such as biodegradable test, surface structure (macroscopic and microscopic) and mechanical strength test. The composition of tapioca flour and maize which are studied are 10:40, 20:30, 25:25, 30:20, 40:10. The results show that the bioplastic produced from the five compositions has a chewy, dense, yellowish-white texture, but there are few air bubbles in terms of physical surface and microscopic surface with 10 times magnification. From the results of mechanical strength test analysis, bioplastics that have The highest tensile strength value is found in the material composition of 40:10 is 0.37 N / mm2, while for the highest elongation at break value is found in the composition of 30:20 is 49.28%. Biodegradable test on bioplastics shows that bioplastic weight decreased Which is quite significant in the composition of 10:40.Keywords: Acetic acid, bioplastic, glycerol, tapioca starch, cornstarch
Kepemilikan Saham Publik dan Corporate Social Responsibility terhadap Kinerja Keuangan
This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the financial performance of basic and chemical industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2016-2020. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The sample selection technique uses a purposive sampling technique so that a sample of 20 companies is obtained. The data analysis method uses path analysis or path analysis using the SMART-PLS application. The results of the study show that the path coefficient value is indicated by the influence of Financial Performance on variable X, namely Public Share Ownership which is reflected in the ROE of 3.484. In further tests, the results show that the second biggest influence is the influence of Financial Performance on variable Z, namely Corporate Social Responsibility as reflected in the Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure Index (CSRDI) of 2.455. In further tests, the results show that Corporate Social Responsibility can mediate Financial Performance and Public Share Ownership of 0.912. In conclusion, Public Share Ownership (KSP) has an effect on financial performance and Financial Performance has an effect on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). However, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) cannot provide a mediating effect on Public Share Ownership (KSP) and financial performance.

Pharmacist Knowledge Level About the Selection of Facial Wash
Cosmetics are materials or preparations made to be used on the outside of the human body (such as on the hair, nails, lips, epidermis, and external genital organs), on mucous membranes, with the aim of cleaning, perfuming, changing the appearance, and/or maintaining and protecting the body’s condition. Facial soap is a type of cosmetics that tends to be widely used by the public to clean the face from various impurities that come from the environment. In choosing cosmetics such as a facial wash, people must have basic knowledge about the products. This study aimed to determine the level of knowledge of pharmacists about the selection of facial wash and the relationship between the level of knowledge and the selection of facial wash. This was a descriptive analytical study. Purposive sampling was used to recruit 75 people. Data retrieval was with a questionnaire that has been validated, and data were analyzed using the Chi-square test. It was found that 84% of the respondents had good knowledge in the pretest and 97.4% on the posttest. A significantly influential factor affecting the reason for using a particular facial wash was seeing information on how to use it on the packaging (p = 0.001).

Knowledge of Doctors and Nurses on the Selection of Cosmetic Facial Wash
Cosmetics are used by women and men to maintain good skin condition and protect the skin from factors that can damage it. Facial wash has a smooth texture, removes dirt and dust, and reduces oil. This study aimed to determine the level of knowledge of non-pharmaceutical health workers (general practitioners and nurses) on the selection of facial wash cosmetics and to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and their selection of products. This was a descriptive analytical study with a cross-sectional design. A pretest posttest questionnaire that has been validated was employed. 50 respondents were recruited through purposive sampling. In terms of brand selection, 24% used a beauty doctor’s prescription. 72% based their decision according to the needs of the facial skin. 52% bought the product in supermarkets. A total of 82% saw the information on the packaging. In 42% of cases, the function of the facial wash was to brighten the facial skin. The dosage of liquid soap was 90%. The use of domestic facial wash products was 100%. The pretest knowledge level in the ‘poor’ category was 52% and the posttest knowledge level in the ‘good’ category was 88%. There was a significant difference found between before and after being given treatment (p < 0.01).
