    ROBUST DYNAMIC ID-BASED REMOTE MUTUAL AUTHENTICATION SCHEME

    Dynamic ID based authentication scheme is more and more important in insecure wireless environment and system. Two of kinds of attack that authentication schemes must resist are stealing identity and reflection attack which is a potential way of attacking a challenge- response authentication system using the same protocol in both direc­tions. It must be guaranteed to prevent attackers from reusing informa­tion from authentication phase and the scheme of Yoon and Yoo satisfies those requirements. However, their scheme can not resist insider and impersonation attack by using lost or stolen smart card. In this paper, we demonstrate that Yoon and Yoo’s scheme is still vulnerable to those attacks. Then, we present an improvement to their scheme in order to isolate such problems

    In this paper, we introduce a mobile application called CarSafe, in which data from the acceleration sensor integrated on smartphones is exploited to come up with an efficient classification algorithm. Two statuses, "Driving" or "Not driving," are monitored in the real-time manner. It enables automatic actions to help the driver safer. Also, from these data, our software can detect the crash situation. The software will then automatically send messages with the user's location to their emergency departments for timely assistance. The application will also issue the same alert if it detects a driver of a vehicle driving too long. The algorithm's quality is assessed through an average accuracy of 96.5%, which is better than the previous work (i.e., 93%)

    Lower and upper bound intercept probability analysis in amplifier-and-forward time switching relaying half-duplex with impact the eavesdropper

    In this paper, we proposed and investigated the amplifier-and-forward (AF) time switching relaying half-duplex with impact the eavesdropper. In this system model, the source (S) and the destination (D) communicate with each other via a helping of the relay (R) in the presence of the eavesdropper (E). The R harvests energy from the S and uses this energy for information transferring to the D. For deriving the system performance, the lower and upper bound system intercept probability (IP) is proposed and demonstrated. Furthermore, the Monte Carlo simulation is provided to justify the correctness of the mathematical, analytical expression of the lower and upper bound IP. The results show that the analytical and the simulation curves are the same in connection with the primary system parameters

    Catalytic Dye Oxidation over CeO2 Nanoparticles Supported on Regenerated Cellulose Membrane

    A novel regenerated cellulose (RC) membrane containing cerium oxide (CeO2) nanoparticles is described in detail. In this work, CeO2 nanoparticles with high surface area and mesoporosity were prepared by a modified template-assisted precipitation method. Successful synthesis was achieved using cerium nitrate as a precursor, adjusting the final pH solution to around 11 by ammonium hydroxide and ethylene diamine, and annealing at 550 °C for 3 hours under a protective gas flow. This resulted in a surface area of 55.55 m².g–1 for the nanoparticles. The regenerated cellulose membrane containing CeO2 particles was synthesized by the novel and environmentally friendly method. The catalyst CeO2 and cellulose/CeO2 membrane were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) measurements. The g-value of 2.276 has confirmed the presence of the surface superoxide species of CeO2 nanoparticles in EPR. The photocatalytic activity of the catalyst and the membrane containing the catalyst was evaluated through the degradation of methylene blue under visible light irradiation by UV-VIS measurements. The cellulose/CeO2 membrane degraded 80% of the methylene blue solution in 120 minutes, showing a better photocatalytic activity than the CeO2 catalyst, which degraded approximately 62% in the same period. It has been proven that the RC membrane is not only a good transparent supporting material but also a good adsorption for high-performance of CeO2 catalyst.     Challenges in Employing BASEL II at Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank

    This paper is conducted for examining the framework for risk management in the Basel II accord, the Basel II risk management model at the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank. Data were collected from annual reports for the period from 2015 to 2017 of the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank. The results show that the implementation of risk management under Basel II at Military Bank still faces many difficulties in the pressure of capital increase, database system, human resource quality, and cost of implementation. The study suggests some solutions for Military Bank to implement successfully Basel II, emphasizing the role of human resource quality, modernizing the data system and the specific mechanism for raising capital. The results of this research is a reference for Vietnamese commercial banks in identifying, controlling and responding various risks in banking activities in the context of Vietnam in particular and in emerging countries in general.     A nutrient method for cutivation of macroalgae Ulva papenfussii

    Macroalgae species of the genus Ulva are widely distributed in the wild. Many species of this genus has been used as food as an attractive material for the study of materials, fuels, food etc.. In this paper, we are focusing on nutrient method for cultivation of Ulva papenfussii and A nutrient source for cultivation of U. papenfussii was also investigated with the perspective of utilizing the produced biomass for feed. U. papenfussii is fragmented into 1 × 1 cm size, then it keep in Ulva extract of 0.1 g/l concentrate for 7 days. Then continue to keep fragments in the following conditions: 20 ml/l of PES medium, 700 μmol photon/m2/s of light, 25oC of temperature, 3% of salinity, 28 days of time. Under this condition the productivity U. papenfussii was 17.8 g/l of weight and its growth rate was 4.3–6.5% day. Nutritional cultivation is successful for U. papenfussii speceies, which is of great importance to study the potential of producing seaweed varieties like blades for commercial application of seaweed species.

    Influence of Structure on Optical Properties of WO3 Thin Films Deposited by Sputtering Method

    In this paper we report the synthesis of WO3_{3} thin films and investigate the effect of the structure on their optical properties. The WO3_{3} thin films are coated on glass substrates from both W and WO3_{3} targets by the magnetron sputtering method in (Ar+O2_{2}) plasma under different deposition temperatures, varying from room temperature to 480 \rc{}C. We also evaluate the band gap energy of WO3_{3} by considering the transitions between the valence and the conduction bands. This result suggests that the best choices are diagonal and allowed transitions. Based on the values of band gap energy and XRD pattern, we indicate the relationship between crystalline order and optical property and consequently, the difference in color of the samples
