    DYNAMIC CAPABILITIES EROSION IN INDONESIA’S RETAIL INDUSTRY: CONSUMERS’ PERSPECTIVE ON MATAHARI DEPARTMENT STORE

    This research was conducted to analyze the effect of dynamic capabilities erosion on firm’s survival according to consumers’ perspective, using sensing erosion, seizing erosion, and reconfiguring erosion as the independent variables (X) and firm survival as the dependent variable (Y). This research uses quantitative research methods with data processing using SPSS. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires online through Google form to 500 student respondents who had visited Matahari Department Store in Indonesia. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique. The questionnaires that qualify to be analyzed are 158 questionnaires. The result of data processing shows that the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable is 40.3%. The results of this study is according to consumers’ perspective, sensing erosion, seizing erosion, and reconfiguring erosion affect firm survival

    This study examines the behavioral intention of respondents who have been to Lara Djonggrang restaurant, Menteng, Jakarta, a restaurant serving typical Indonesian food themed with the legend of Central Java, which is the story of Lara Djonggrang. The study was conducted to determine the factors that affect behavioral intentions while atmospheric serves as independent variable and service quality as mediation variable. The analysis technique used in this study is the PLS (Partial Least Square). The results shows that Atmospheric has an effect on Service Quality. Atmospheric also has an effect on Behavioral Intention. Service Quality has an effect on Behavioral Intention

    Perkembangan dalam bisnis ritel di Indonesia terus mengalami pertumbuhan yang positif dalam 10 tahun terakhir. Untuk menghadapi persaingan yang semakin ketat, Setiap perusahaan ritel perlu memperhatikan perilaku konsumen di dalam toko seperti pembelian yang tidak direncanakan. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi Impulse Buying adalah lingkungan toko dimana semua gerai ritel memiliki lingkungan tokonya sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini tak lain untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peran lingkungan toko, Impulse Buying tendency, Shopping Enjoyment Tendency, Positive Affect, Negative Affect dan urge dalam mempengaruhi pembelian yang tidak direncanakan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat faktor-faktor lingkungan toko seperti musik, Layout, dan karyawan dapat berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam menciptakan pengaruh positif didalam toko, Serta faktor Layout yang memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan dalam menciptakan dorongan untuk melakukan pembelian yang tidak direncanakan. Faktor kepribadian konsumen seperti Impulse Buying tendency pun diketahui memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap terjadinya dorongan untuk melakukan pembelian yang tidak direncanakan

    The Impact of Transformational Leadership on Democratic Party

    This study focuses on analyzing the impact of transformational leadership on the intention to stay, as mediated through commitment. This study focuses on transformational leadership at the top level management in Democratic Party that currently led by Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono. This study employs quantitative methods with estimating techniques based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The primary data used are collected by random sampling from Democratic Party management at the central (DPP) and regional (DPP/DPC) levels. The total number of participants in this study was 304. The stages of data analysis include preliminary analysis, which includes construct validity and reliability, a goodness of fit test, and parameter estimate based on a research model in which transformational leadership is an independent variable, intention to stay is an independent variable, and commitment (commitment) is a mediating variable. The findings indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant impact on commitment and that commitment positively influences respondents’ intention to stay with the organization. This demonstrates the significance of transformational leadership in fostering the longevity of political parties due to its ability to improve members' willingness to stay and contribute to the organization. In the framework of political party organizations, idealized influence and inspirational motivation are the most significant roles of transformative leadership

    ORGANIZATIONAL INERTIA AND ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE: FAMILY BUSINESS CONTEXT IN INDONESIA

    This research focuses on the fast-growing family business in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to discuss the performance of family companies that are in a state of inertia, where Top Management Team (TMT), namely the executive ranks of the company's leaders is needed to influence the management of cynicism to commitment to move in organizational change. The theory of leadership by comparing the perception of ideal change in organizations is the reference we use, namely the implicit change leadership theory (ICLT). This research method uses a non-probability sampling method where the probability of being selected as a sample is not the same. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and qualitative analysis of the organizational performance points of 31 family companies in Indonesia. The findings show that the paternalistic attitude of family culture reflects the commitment of TMT to make changes and performance that supports the company's success to move from inertia. The novelty in the article is the relationship of TMT in family businesses that supports the role of change through strong commitment, so that cynicism in family companies does not have a significant effect on organization. Abstrak dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bisnis keluarga yang berkembang pesat di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas kinerja perusahaan keluarga yang sedang dalam keadaan inersia, dimana Top Management Team (TMT) yaitu jajaran eksekutif pimpinan perusahaan sangat dibutuhkan untuk mempengaruhi sinisme manajemen terhadap komitmen untuk bergerak di perubahan organisasi. Teori kepemimpinan dengan membandingkan persepsi perubahan ideal dalam organisasi adalah acuan yang kami gunakan, yaitu teori kepemimpinan perubahan implisit (ICLT). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dimana probabilitas terpilihnya sebagai sampel tidak sama. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan analisis kualitatif terhadap poin-poin kinerja organisasi 31 perusahaan keluarga di Indonesia. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sikap paternalistik budaya keluarga mencerminkan komitmen TMT untuk melakukan perubahan dan kinerja yang mendukung keberhasilan perusahaan untuk beranjak dari inersia. Kebaruan dalam artikel tersebut adalah hubungan TMT dalam bisnis keluarga yang mendukung peran perubahan melalui komitmen yang kuat, sehingga sinisme dalam perusahaan keluarga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organisasi

    Problema plagiarisme merupakan salah satu persoalan klasik dalam dunia pendidikan sekarang ini termasuk perilaku ketidakjujuran siswa yang selalu menjadi momok bagi pendidikan di Indonesia. Kasus plagiarisme di sekolah menjadi hal yang biasa, ini menjadi tolak ukur bagi kualitas pendidikan. Tindakan copy paste seakan menjadi ritual wajib dalam memenuhi tugas dari guru. Tindakan plagiarisme tersebut dapat membuat seseorang menjadi malas berkreatifitas karena tidak mau berfikir. Untuk itu tindakan plagiarisme harus ditekan, dan salah satu caranya adalah dengan mendeteksi plagiarisme dokumen teks. Berdasarkan metode di atas, sudah banyak dibuat sistem pendeteksi plagiarisme pada dokumen teks. Dan salah satunya menggunakan Algoritma SCAM untuk mendeteksi plagiarisme pada dokumen teks. Algoritma SCAM memecah sebuah dokumen menjadi potongan kata. Kemudian ditambahkan ke dalam urutan indeks dan digunakan untuk perbandingan dengan masukan dokumen yang baru. Selain untuk membantu pengajar dalam menilai tugas–tugas yang berbentuk dokumen teks. Diharapakan siswa mulai membuat tugas yang berupa dokumen teks sendiri tanpa harus melakukan tindak plagiarisme

    Research aims: The study was conducted to discuss the phenomenon of destructive leadership, cynicism, and employee performance that occurred at Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang Hospital. The purpose of this study is to look at the effect of destructive leadership on employee performance, the effect of cynicism on employee performance, and the moderation effect of cynicism on destructive leadership and employee performance at Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang Hospital.Design/Methodology/Approach: This study employed a partial least square (PLS) multivariate statistical technique. Sampling used a saturated sampling method, and the respondents were all employees of the Finance Department from 50 hospitals. The Likert scale was utilized as a measurement tool for the questionnaire.Research findings: This study's results indicated that the destructive leadership variable positively and significantly influenced the employee performance variable. Based on the questionnaire results, it was known that Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang Hospital’s employee performance had a positive nature in responding to the existence of destructive leadership so that performance was maintained.Theoretical contribution/Originality: Companies can develop strategies to anticipate destructive leadership and weaken cynicism because both attitudes can impact employee performance.Practitioner/Policy implication: This research is expected to provide insight into leaders’ and employees' behavior regarding the phenomenon of destructive leadership and cynicism to improve employee performance because companies with a positive culture can undoubtedly make employees comfortable so that they will do work optimally.Research limitation/Implication: This research’s implication shows that the employees’ behavior in Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang Hospital was very good because employees could show positive attitudes even with pressures, such as destructive leadership and cynicism

    ANALYZING ENTREPRENEURIAL MARKETING ON INNOVATIVE PERFORMANCE

    Resource Based View (RBV) is used to identify problems faced by SMEs. Based on the results of SWOT analysis, it can be seen that SMEs have six problems. These problems include: limited human resources, lack of advanced technology, not having enough knowledge about the target market, not having a good enough SMES management systems, competitor competition, and price from suppliers that fluctuate. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Entrepreneurial Marketing on Innovative Performance. This study uses questionnaire as a research instrument for 35 respondents, SMEs who sell snacks in Surabaya city. The results of this study indicated that Entrepreneurial Marketing, consisting of Market Orientation and Entrepreneurial Orientation, has a positive and significant influence on Innovative Performance of SMEs.
