La encíclica Fides et ratio, al ocuparse principalmente de la relación entre filosofía y teología, parecería no alegar específicas conclusiones acerca del saber científico. Sin embargo, la referencias que el texto dedica tanto a las ciencias naturales como a la actividad del investigador son suficientes para concluir que la ciencia participa del acceso a la misma y única verdad y no es extraña al tránsito desde el fenómeno al fundamento que la encíclica indica como exigencia originaria del conocimiento humano

Competenze metodologiche e competenze interculturali: quali i possibili intrecci formativi nella formazione iniziale dei docenti?

This paper focuses on the relationship between methodological and interculturalcompetences of future teachers. As regards the initial teacher training,University plays a crucial role and it has also a relevant value, for thisreason it should take the necessary steps to offer not only theoretical tools,but also practical and operational ones, that could became an essential partof the toolbox of future teachers, both in the kindergarten and in the primaryschool. Here we’ll bring an experience carried out at the University ofBari, during which the social and intercultural Pedagogy students, who areattending the Degree Course in Primary Education, have had the opportunityto live their learning as an experience not only theoretical but also practical.The students have had the possibility to analyse and internalize theprocedures actually used in the schools in the field of intercultural education.Nella formazione iniziale dei docenti, l’Università riveste un ruolo crucialee un valore rilevante, per cui deve attrezzarsi per offrire strumenti non soloteorici, ma anche operativi, che possano diventare parte della cassettadegli attrezzi dei futuri insegnanti di scuola dell’infanzia e primaria. In questasede si riporta un’esperienza realizzata presso l’Università degli Studi diBari, durante la quale gli studenti di Pedagogia sociale e interculturale delCorso di Laurea di Scienze della formazione primaria hanno potuto vivereil loro apprendimento come esperienza non solo teorica, ma anche pratica.Il percorso formativo, dopo gli approfondimenti teoretici di introduzioneed orientamento per quanto concerne i principi epistemologici e generalidella pedagogia sociale ed interculturale, ha condotto gli studenti ad analizzarele procedure che vengono effettivamente adoperate nelle scuole.L’esperienza è stata finalizzata a promuovere non solo l’acquisizione, maanche l’interiorizzazione delle competenze interculturali e metodologiche

A debate between Steve Fuller and Giuseppe Tanzella-Nitti on 'scientific progress, human progress and Christian theology'

This piece is the first of new annual feature of the journal, entitled 'Debate'. Two scholars offer their contrasting reflections on a topic of interest – this year, it is 'scientific progress, human progress and Christian theology'. The debate is opened by American sociologist Steve Fuller, who briefly presents his thesis on the subject, proposing in the end the Church to be more open to an 'adventurous approach to nature' in his opinion more consonant with today's 'emerging biometrically oriented genetic science'. In answer, Italian theologian Giuseppe Tanzella-Nitti explains that, from a Christian perspective, human progress needs to respect the 'ontological foundations of creature itself' in order to avoid the 'illusion' of a false progress. Taking these thoughts into account, Fuller replies clarifying his points. The debate is concluded by remarks from the Editor

The theological import of the metaphor of the Book of Nature: historical hallmarks and open questions

A tanulmány célja összegezni a „Természet könyve”-metafora kutatásával kapcsolatos kérdések mai állását, különösképpen is a fundamentálteológus szempontjai szerint. A szerző a kérdés másodlagos irodalmának bemutatása nyomán hangsúlyozza, hogy a metafora iránti érdeklődés messze túlmutat a teológia területén. A liber naturae-hagyomány diakronikus szerkezetének elemzése után, a hagyomány aktualizálhatóságának problematikája köti le a szerző figyelmét. A szinkronikus és elemző tárgyaláson belül különösen érdekfeszítő a lex naturalis kérdéskör vizsgálata, amely természetes erkölcsi törvény problematikája szervesen illeszkedik az itt vizsgált tágabb hagyományba. A tanulmány a szerző korábbi írásainál terjedelmesebben kitér a „Természet könyve” – gondolat kortárs tanítóhivatali recepciójára (vö. AP 2016, pp. 55-75). A gondolatmenet a hagyomány aktualizálása szempontjából fontos hermeneutikai kérdéseket is felvázolja, miközben az egész témát elhelyezi a II. Imparare a vivere insieme ed educare a vivere con gli altri. La scuola si attiva per la cittadinanza? L’esperienza del Parlamento Regionale dei Giovani in Puglia

This study starts from legal acts where school is defined the natural placewe can learn the best way to live together (Delors, 1996) and the real opportunitiesstudents have to reach this aim. There are so many laws dealingwith the importance of educate to live together, but it was difficult todemonstrate their real implementation. The highlighting achievements andexperiences on the themes of Citizenship and education led by a PHD candidatein “Training Dynamics and policy education” at University of Bari,have made possible to deepen a significative experience realized in Puglia:the Regional Youth Parliament. Sixteen years old and older students areelected and can be active citizens discussing important issues. They canknow places, people, understand rules and, last but not least, they have toelaborate a bill to be submitted to Regional Parliament.Il presente contributo, a partire dagli atti normativi secondo i quali è lascuola il luogo in cui imparare a vivere insieme (Delors, 1996), si soffermasulle reali opportunità offerte agli studenti di perseguire tale obiettivo.Sono numerosi i documenti che, a livello normativo, postulano l’importanzadell’educare a vivere insieme, ma quali occasioni tangibili sono state forniteagli studenti? Gli studi sui temi dell’educazione alla cittadinanza, condottida dottoranda di ricerca in Dinamiche formative ed educazione allapolitica presso l’Università degli Studi di Bari, hanno consentito di approfondire,anche in qualità di docente di scuola secondaria di secondo grado,una significativa esperienza realizzata in Puglia: il Parlamento Regionale deiGiovani. In tale organismo gli studenti, dai sedici anni d’età in poi, vengonoeletti tramite elezioni svolte nelle scuole secondarie di secondo grado. Attraversoquesta forma di apprendistato democratico, incoraggiati ad esserecittadini attivi nel sistema della democrazia partecipativa, essi studiano ilterritorio, dibattono su temi di grande rilevanza sociale, vivono la vita all’internodi una istituzione, ne conoscono i luoghi, le persone, l’organizzazione,scoprono da vicino le regole e i processi di un’istituzione legislativae, infine, hanno il compito di elaborare una proposta di legge da presentareal Parlamento Regionale della Puglia

Si può parlare di Dio nel contesto della scienza contemporanea?

The question of God, neglected in the philosophy of the twentieth century, emerges unexpectedly in contemporary science. However, the access to the notion of God through scientific rationality does not imply a demonstration of its existence, Si può parlare di Dio nel contesto della scienza contemporanea? but rather a question on his significance within such context: there must be a space available for a discourse about the Logos which the scientific rationality can recognize. This space can be instantiated in four semantic areas marked by: (1) the incomplete nature of the formal language; (2) the incomplete nature of the ontologically contingent physical reality; (3) the rationality, order and intelligibility of the cosmos; (4) the personalist-existential dimension of scientific activity. The question about meaning and the opening to the “ineffable” arise within the analysis of scientific knowledge because the method and tools of scientific work can be transcended without being contradicted

La rivelazione di Dio nel creato nella teologia della rivelazione del XX secolo

Questo a1ticolo offre un approccio alla considerazione teologica della rivelazione naturale e dei suoi rapporti con la rivelazione soprannaturale, come discusso nei principali manuali di teologia fondamentale e della rivelazione del secolo scorso. Nella letteratura teologica de! Novecento, la comprensione della rivelazione divina nel creato sembra oscillare fra un'impostazione maggiormente filosofica, in cui l'aspetto filosofico come conoscenza naturale di Dio adombra il suo valore di vera rivelazione, e un'impostazione teologica che la riduce ad un. momento iniziale della rivelazione storica, quando non la assorbe pienamente in essa. Poiché l'argomento riguarda aspetti centrali per la comprensione della creazione, della storia e dell'antropologia teologica, la teologia fondamentale non può limitarsi a discutere il rapporto fra le due modalità di rivelazione su un piano puramente logico-conoscitivo, ma è chiamata ad indicarne un'articolazione soddisfacente. tn attesa che tale articolazione, all'interno dell'unico disegno divino di rivelazione, venga dalla teologia contemporanea ulteriormente precisata, si sottolineano due piste di riflessione, ovvero la rivalutazione della metafora dei due libri e un approfondimento cristocentrico della dimensione creaturale della storia.This article deals with a theological consideration of natural revelation and its relationship with supernatural revelation, as it has been discussed in the most important textbooks of Fundamental Theology and Theology of Revelation during the last century. In the 20th century, the understanding of God's revelation in nature oscillates between a mainly philosophical formu!ation, centered on the phìlosophy of natural knowledge of God and less interested in its dimension of true revelation, and a theological approach where creation is absorbed into history or considered as merely the fìrst stage of historical revelation. Since fundamental aspects concerning history, anthropological theology, and the doctrine of creation are involved in this subject, Fundamental Theology should not confine itself to discuss the relationship between the two forms of revelation on a mere logical-cognitive leve!. lt is also asked to provide a satisfactory model tor their articulation, inside the unique divine design of revelation. Waiting for further comprehensive theological understandings, we here suggest two lines of reflection; namely, the rediscovery of the metaphor of the Two Books and a Christ-centered insight on the createci character of history
