    Kontribusi Kearifan Lokal Terhadap Konservasi Lahan Kritis

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) mengetahui penerapan kearifan lokal dalam konservasi lahan kritis di Desa Batur Tengah; dan 2) mengetahui kontribusi kearifan lokal dalam konservasi lahan kritis di Desa Batur Tengah. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh petani yang ada diwilayah Desa Batur Tengah. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode quota sampling, yaitu sebanyak 30 orang petani yang tergabung dalam kelompok tani dan 30 orang petani yang tidak tergabung dalam kelompok taniBerdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut. 1) Penerapan kearifan lokal dalam konservasi lahan kritis di Desa Batur Tengah berada dalam kategori baik. 2) Kontribusi penerapan kearifan lokal dalam konservasi lahan kritis di Desa Batur Tengah berada dalam kategori cukup tinggi. 3) Faktor pendukung penerapan kearifan lokal dalam konservasi lahan kritis di Desa Batur Tengah adalah faktor dukungan masyarakat, pemerintah, pengamalan warga terhadap falsafah Tri Hita Karana dan landasan operasional “paras paros selulung subayantaka sarpanayaâ€. 4) Faktor penghambat penerapan kearifan lokal dalam konservasi lahan kritis di Desa Batur Tengah adalah hambatan ekonomi, teknologi, kelembagaan dan hambatan fisik. Berdasarkan kesimpulan di atas, maka dapat disarankan sebagai berikut. Kepada warga masyarakat agar meningkatkan kualitas penerapan kearifan lokal dalam konservasi lahan kritis sehingga kontribusi penerapan kearifan lokal dalam konservasi lahan kritis menjadi lebih tinggi Kepada Bendesa adat agar melaksanakan kearifan local secara lebih bijaksana. Kepada Pemerintah Daerah melalui Camat Kintamani agar lebih intensif memantau penerapan kearifan local dalam konservasi lahan kritis

    The agribusiness development of horticulture products is one of national economical growth sources of agricultural sector. Free market made part of domestically which cause more rigid competitiveness. In addition, the increase of farmer\u27s family member demands was faced to the need of demand of information of modern farming to increase the management capability in yielding competitive products from the efficient farmers. Yet, the empowerment hasn\u27t significantly empowered the farmers. The fact showed that farmers still lives in \u27darkness\u27 and lack of information. One of empowerment strategy is to make independent farmer in maintaining their lives in the meaning of: knowed, motivated, and able to develop their farm by looking and using the available agricultural information. The government task is to service agricultural information for farmers as stated in law No.16 year 2006 about Agricultural Extension System. This study was aimed to analyze: (1) kinds of agricultural information which needed by vegetables\u27 farmers, and (2) factors influenced the need of agricultural information. The research was conducted in three districts (Bogor, Cianjur, and Bandung), West Java Province since July 2006 to February 2007 by using survey technique, interview, and indepth interview. The sampling technique used in the study was quota sampling with 240 respondents of head families. Statistical analysis were using Cronbach Alpha, t-test, Rank Spearman correlation, and Structural Equation Modeling. The analysis showed that the need of agricultural information from vegetables\u27 farmers\u27 influenced significantly by economic and social status of vegetables\u27 farmers, farmers\u27s awareness level of the importance of agricultural information, accessibility level of vegetables\u27farmers in obtaining the agricultural information, motivation of vegetables\u27 farmers ,and innovative of vegetables\u27 farmers

    The key roles played by phospholipids in many cellular processes, has led to the development of model systems, to explore both lipid–lipid and lipid–peptide interactions. Biomimetic giant unilamellar vesicles represent close facsimiles of in vivo cellular membranes, although currently their widespread use in research is hindered by difficulties involving their integration into high-throughput techniques, for exploring membrane biology intensively in situ. This paper presents an integrated microfluidic device for the production, manipulation and high-throughput analysis of giant unilamellar vesicles. Its utility is demonstrated by exploring the lipid interaction dynamics of the pore-forming antimicrobial peptide melittin, assessed through the release of fluorescent dyes from within biomimetic vesicles, with membrane compositions similar to mammalian plasma membranes

    The characteristics of carpal tunnel syndrome of patients in the medical rehabilitation (PMR) outpatient clinic Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang 2006Background: Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a common clinical disorder in daily practice, especially in the PMR outpatient clinic Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang. However it seems there is no pattern of patient characteristic and medical rehabilitation programs applied for the CTS patients. The objective of this study was to explore patient characteristics and the medical rehabilitation programs.Methods: The study was an observational descriptive study. Data were collected from medical records of new patients diagnosed with CTS in PMR Department Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang in 2006.Results: There were 34 patients (4% of 838 new patients) diagnosed with CTS, 32 (94,1%) were female and 2 (5,9%) were male, 18 (53%) with unilateral CTS and 16 (47%) with bilateral CTS. Most of them were 41-50 (38,2%) and 51-60 years old (35,3%) and dominantly were house wife (61,8%). The most frequent clinical manifestations were numbness (97%), with positive Tinel's sign (88,2%). Electrodiagnostic examination was done in 17 subjects (50%). The most frequent medical rehabilitation program isultrasound therapy (76,5%), six times a week.Conclusion: CTS patients are predominantly women with positive Tinel sign, and therapy given is mostly ultrasound and ortotic prosthetic with splint

    Kemampuan Memproduksi Teks Eksplanasi Berdasarkan Isi, Struktur Dan Ciri Kebahasaan Oleh Siswa Kelas XI Smk Multi Karyatahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan memproduksi teks eksplanasi berdasarkan isi, struktur dan ciri kebahasaan oleh siswa kelas XI SMK Multi Karya tahun pembelajaran 2016/2017. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMK Multi Karya tahun pembelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdiri dari 11 kelas dan berjumlah 358 orang.Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan cara random sampling. Sampel penelitan diambil 10% dari populasi sehingga sampel penelitian ini adalah 40 orang siswa.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kulitatif, yaitu mendeskripsikan suatu keadaan alamiah mengenai kegiatan memproduksi teks eskplanasi siswa kelas XI SMK Multi Karya. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah tes essay. Data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam memproduksi teks eksplanasi memiliki nilai rat-rata (mean) 68,25 dan berada pada kategori cukup. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rentang nila 86-100 dengan kategori sangat baik diperoleh sebanyak 2 orang (5%), rentang nilai 76-85 dengan kategori baik diperoleh sebanyak 14 orang (35%), rentang nilai 56-75 dengan kategori cukup diperoleh sebanyak 18 orang (45%), dan rentang 10-55 dengan kategori kurang diperoleh sebanyak 6 orang (15%).Berdasarkan analisis data diatas maka dapat disimpulkan bahawa kemampuan memproduksi teks eksplanasi pada siswa kelas XI SMK Multi Karya Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017 masih termasuk dalam kategori cukup

    Anomalous increase in nematic-isotropic transition temperature in dimer molecules induced by magnetic field

    We have determined the nematic-isotropic transition temperature as a function of applied magnetic field in three different thermotropic liquid crystalline dimers. These molecules are comprised of two rigid calamitic moieties joined end to end by flexible spacers with odd numbers of methylene groups. They show an unprecedented magnetic field enhancement of nematic order in that the transition temperature is increased by up to 15K when subjected to 22T magnetic field. The increase is conjectured to be caused by a magnetic field-induced decrease of the average bend angle in the aliphatic spacers connecting the rigid mesogenic units of the dimers
