SzintetizĂĄltuk az N-glikoprotein antennĂĄk core pentaszacharidjĂĄt glikozil-azid formĂĄjĂĄban. alfa-MannozilezĂ©si reakciĂłkat vizsgĂĄltunk. | Carbohydrate components of the cell-wall of Gram-negative bacteria were synthesized. beta-Glycosides of 2,3-diacetamido-2,3-dideoxy-D-mannuronic acid, a rare building block of the cell-wall of Bordetella pertussis were created. For the preparation of bacterial artificial antigens some spacered oligosaccharides of Salmonella bacteria were synthesized. Neoglycoproteins were obtained by different methodologies. Among them the reductive amination were systematically investigated. The carbohydrate content of the neoglycoproteins were determined by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. beta-Mannosides were created by using the oxidation-reduction method. The core pentasaccharide of N-glycans was prepared, as glycosyl azide. The construction of alpha-mannosidic linkages were intensively investigated
Glycan microarrays : new angles and new strategies
Carbohydrate microarrays, comprising hundreds to thousands of different glycan structures on solid surfaces in a spatially discrete pattern, are sensitive and versatile tools for the analysis of glycosylation changes in complex biological samples. Glycoarrays are also suitable for monitoring multiple molecular interactions with biomolecules where sugars are involved, offering a large variety of bioassay options. In this paper we review the most important glycan microarray types currently used with their main applications, and discuss some of the future challenges the technology faces

The protecting group combinations for the synthesis of O-glycopeptides was optimized and we improved the coupling conditions for the reaction of the glycosyl donor and acceptor. Numerous phospho and cell-penetrating peptide were synthesized and a part of them was fluorescently labelled. A new foldamer molecule (N-amino proline) was prepared and incorporated into beta-amino acid oligomers. The conformation and the stability of the new oligomers was investigated

In the title compound, C33H34O5S·H2O, the mannopyranÂoside ring adopts a chair conformation with the 2-α-thioÂphenyl group occupying an axial position. One of the pendant benzyl groups is disordered over two sets of sites in a 0.5:0.5 ratio. In the crystal, the water molÂecule makes two OâHâŻO hydrogen bonds to an adjacent sugar molÂecule with the O atoms of the primary alcohol and ether groups acting as acceptors.
