    The following article explains that it is very difficult to find the characteristics fundamentalism of Buddhism because the fundamentalism movement denotes the reaction to superficiality of spiritual values because of the modernization process. It invites the followers of religion back to the tenet of Holy Scripture. It is not only the superficiality of spiritual values but also the deconstruction of spiritual values themselves. If the fundamentalism emerges because of the disappointing of the secular modern society, the Buddhism at some countries tends to cooper ate with the regime of the state to support the modernization i.e. Srilangka and Thailand. Whereas at some states i.e. South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore the doctrine of Buddhism is understood from the modernism perspective, but, the spiritual values of the scripture complete the secular modem society. To save society with Holy Book indicates that the responsibilities of social, politic, and culture were regarded as Buddhism fundamentalism, in accord with social change that carried out by Soka Gakkai to overcome the frustration of society

    Seagrass is a kind of higher plants that have been known for a long time by the people in thecoastal areas . The purpose of this article is to formulate a conceptual form of local ecologicalknowledge as an instrument of change in the condition assessment of seagrass . The samplingtechnique used was quota sampling criteria respondents aged ≥ 40 years and the main job as afisherman . Moreover, to obtain more detailed information and in-depth use snowballsampling technique . Data analysis was done in descriptive . The results of this study indicatethat local ecological knowledge quite comprehensively . on seagrass . Classification ofseagrass by local communities into 4 types: seagrass Kaken ( Enhalus acoroides ) , seagrassRanten ( algae ) , seagrass and seagrass pupak green ( grass ) . Distribution and function ofeach type of seagrass seagrass on fish and marine life in the perspective of society notdissimilar to that described by scientific sources . In the framework of structural-functionalist thought, society is depicted to constitute from structures belonging to separate function that create harmonious equilibrium based on social solidarity founded in collective norms and values. Accordingly, the Sundanese community is also bound by their communal cultural values received through their ancestors. The majority of the Sundanese are Muslims which indicate that their social culture originates from, or in line with, the values of Islamic teachings that led to the expression that “Sunda is Islam”. The fact that there exist groups of Sundanese who are non-Muslim but they still belong to and convicted to be Sundanese show the shortcomings of the above-mentioned model of thought.     Seagrass has a vital role in providing habitat diversity of fish species, especially those who are in the juvenile mass. This article aims to describe the seagrass conservation value to the sustainability of fish resources in the coastal waters of Indonesia. Source data used are secondary data from relevant dokemen. The data were analyzed descriptively. The analyzed data is data about the ecological function of seagrass to the sustainability of fish resources and data on the conservation status of seagrass in the coastal waters of Indonesia. The analysis showed that the existence of seagrass required by the diversity of fish species, especially at crucial stages, namely the juvenile stages, especially of demersal fish species. In addition seagrass conservation efforts, especially in areas outside of protected areas seagrass yet operational standards to reduce the level of exploitation that have been threatening the survival of seagrass. The conclusion is required seagrass conservation standards outside the water conservation areas that already exist today as a sustainable fishery management strategies based on the ecology of coastal waters of Indonesi

With a practical analysis, the authors found that the construction of narrative Islamism developed by radical groups in society Lampung only radical Moslem didn\u27t lead to radicalism and terrorism. The number of the radical group is small. The narratives Islamism spread by radical groups with different patterns of deployment and distribution factors by which identifying and facilitating the transmission of Islamism is generally not accepted by the majority of the Islamic community in Lampung.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengkaji persepsi guru Sekolah Dasar, SekolahMenengah Pertama, Sekolah Menengah Atas dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan terhadap profesionalisme guru dalam mengimplementasikan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran; 2) mengkaji pendapat siswa Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, Sekolah Menengah Atas dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan terhadap profesionalisme guru dalam mengimplementasikan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi; 3) mengkaji kendala-kendala guru dalam mengimplementasikan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh guru Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, Sekolah Menengah Atas dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kabupaten Nganjuk dengan penarikan sampel secara simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) 52,75% guru Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, Sekolah Menengah Atas dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan menyatakan jarang menggunakan laptop untuk pembelajaran; 2) 62,15% Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi siswa Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, Sekolah Menengah Atas dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan menyatakan bahwa guru jarang menggunakan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi dalam pembelajaran; dan 3) 34,95% guru Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, dan Sekolah Menengah Atas kurang menguasai Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi, sedangkan 10,03% guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan menyatakan bahwa sarana dan prasarana yang ada kurang mendukung dalam pembelajaran

    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini beranjak dari pokok permasalahan: (1) bagaimana perencanaan pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif dengan menerapkan metode Edutainment Belanbe (belajar dan bermain ) pada siswa kelas VII B SMPN 2 Cisalak; (2) bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif dengan menerapkan metode Edutaimnent Belanbe pada siswa kelas VII B SMPN 2 Cisalak; (3) bagaimana hasil pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif dengan menerapkan metode Edutainment Belanbe pada siswa kelas VII B SMPN 2 Cisalak? Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran menulis dalam hal ini menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif karena metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru kurang variatif. Berdasarkan pokok permasalahan di atas, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mendeskripsikan perencanaan pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif dengan menerapkan metode Edutainment Belanbe (belajar dan bermain ) pada siswa kelas VII B SMPN 2 Cisalak; (2) mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif dengan menerapkan metode Edutainment Belanbe (belajar dan bermain ) pada siswa kelas VII B SMPN 2 Cisalak; (3) Mendeskripsikan hasil pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif dengan menerapkan metode Edutainment Belanbe (belajar dan bermain ) pada siswa kelas VII B SMPN 2 Cisalak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Penelitian ini digunakan untuk menilai keefektivan metode Edutainment belanbe (belajar dan bermain) untuk pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah hasil menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ada tiga hal penting yang ditemukan peneliti sebagai jawaban dari rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini. Pertama, perencanaan pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif dengan menerapkan metode Edutainment Belanbe (belajar dan bermain ) pada siswa kelas VII B SMPN 2 Cisalak dilakukan kedalam dua siklus (preetest dan posttest).Kedua, proses pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode Edutainment belanbe pada siswa kelas VII B SMPN 2 Cisalak berjalan dengan baik dan mampu menarik minat siswa dalam menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil angket yang meyimpulkan keantusiasan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif sangat baik. Ketiga, hasil pemebelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif dengan menerapkan metode Edutainment Belanbe (belajar dan bermain ) mengalami peningkatan setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus pertama (Preetest) nilai rata-rata siswa adalah 39,2 . Pada siklus kedua nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 59.95.Dengan demikian metode Edutainment belanbe dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif siswa. This research is motivated by the lack of interest of students towards learning to write in this writing descriptive text responses as learning methods used by teachers are less varied. Based on the above subject matter, the study aims to: (1) describe the planning of teaching writing descriptive text responses by applying the method Belanbe Edutainment (learning and play) in Class VII B 2 Cisalak SMP; (2) describe the implementation of teaching writing descriptive text responses by applying the method Belanbe Edutainment (learning and play) in Class VII B 2 Cisalak SMP; (3) Describe the learning outcomes writing descriptive text responses by applying the method Belanbe Edutainment (learning and play) in Class VII B 2 Cisalak SMP. The method used in this study was a quasi-experiment. This research is used to assess the effectiveness of the method belanbe Edutainment (learning and play) for teaching writing descriptive text responses. Sources of data in this study is the result of students' writing descriptive text responses. Based on our results, there are three important things found in research as the answer to the problem formulation in this research. First, the learning plan writing descriptive text responses by applying the method Belanbe Edutainment (learning and play) in Class VII B 2 Cisalak SMP conducted into two cycles (preetest and posttest) .Second, the process of learning to write descriptive text response using Edutainment belanbe on SMP class VII B 2 Cisalak run well and be able to attract students' interest in writing descriptive text responses. This is evident from the results of a questionnaire which concludes enthusiasm in the students participating in learning writing descriptive text response is very good. Third, the results pemebelajaran write descriptive text responses by applying the method Belanbe Edutainment (learning and play) has increased each cycle. In the first cycle (Preetest) value is an average student 39,2. In the second cycle of the average value of students increased to such 59.95 .With belanbe Edutainment method can be used to improve the ability of students to write descriptive text responses

    I-UNIT SEBAGAI ALAI UKUR KEMAMPUAN MENGARANG BAHASA INDONESIA

    This study is an attempt to look for a valid and reliable composition- measuring instrument. It is an early effort to employ a so-called T-unit, or a terminable unit, to measure students' composition competence. The study involved elementary school students in Years IV, V, and VI. The instrument was made by breaking down students' composition into smaller parts in the form of meaningful sentences. Consequently, the better the composition was, the smaller the number of the T-units was, but the longer they were. The z-score was used to assess the reliability, and the difference among the groups was calculated by the one-way analysis of variance. The findings show that the T-unit can objectively differentiate elementary school students of Years IV, V, and VI in terms of their composition competence. In other words, the T-unit can be used as an objective and reliable composition- measuring instrument

    Kampung Dukuh di Kecamatan Cikelet, Kabupaten Garut merupakan salah satu kampung adat yang ada di Jawa Barat. Selain tradisi warisan Islam yang masih kuat, masyarakat Kampung ini mempunyai tradisi tersendiri seperti kepercayaan terhadap mitos-mitos leluhur, sanksi gaib, dan ritual-ritual tertentu terkait kepercayaan tersebut. Masyarakat Kampung Dukuh juga memiliki kearifan lokal yang berkaitan dengan pelestarian lingkungan dan sumber daya alam lewat mana mereka turut serta dalam menghadapi isu-isu pemanasan global (global warming) dan Perubahan iklim (climate change). Keberhasilan warga Kampung Dukuh dalam melestarikan alam bukan karena pengaruh doktrin Islam tetapi lebih disebabkan oleh tradisi dan kearifan lokal warisan nenek moyang. Hal ini dikarenakan masyarakat Kampung Dukuh cenderung memahami Islam sebagai seperangkat aturan/hukum berkaitan dengan sistem peribadatan (fiqih ibadah), tidak sampai menyentuh aspek-aspek lain di luar sistem itu
