    IMPROVING STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN CLASS 11 FASHION DESIGN FOR VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS (SMK NEGERI 3 KOTA BOGOR) THROUGH A PROJECT BASED LEARNING MODEL ON SKIRT DESIGN ACCORDING TO THE COLLAGE CONCEPTThe purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes regarding Skirt Design material according to the Collage Concept of the Fashion Design subject in class 11 Fashion Design-2 Vocational High Schools through the use of the Project Based Learning Model. The research subjects were students in class 11 Fashion Design-2 consisting of 34 female students. The method used is a class action research method consisting of two cycles. In the first cycle, learning is carried out using the Project Based Learning Model, while in the second cycle, it uses an enhanced Project Based Learning Model. In each cycle consists of four stages of research namely planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The research data were analyzed using a comparative descriptive followed by reflection. Comparative descriptive is done by comparing the initial condition data, cycle 1 and cycle 2, both for learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that: First, the use of the Project Based Learning Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes about Skirt Design material according to the Collage Concept in the Fashion Design subject in class XI Dressmaking-2 Vocational High School. It is proven that the percentage of student learning outcomes has increased from the initial condition the average value of daily tests was 66.18 in cycle I to 75.21 and in cycle II to 81.32 or in the final condition there was an increase of 22.88% from the initial condition. It is proven that the percentage of students' learning completeness increased from the initial conditions of 73.53% in cycle I and to 91.18% in cycle II or in the final conditions an increase of 24.00% from the initial conditions

    Desulphurization Of Dbt In Cyclohexane Model Oil Using Ionic Liquid

    Crude oil is conventionally processed by distillation followed by various cracking, solvent refining and hydro conversion processes to produce a desired slate of petroleum end products. However, increasingly tighter regulations on contaminant in fuels, particularly sulphur and aromatics content around 30ppm, have forced many refiners to hydro refine most and often all, of the fuel products. In response to the more stringent requirements for cleaner fuels, refiners have added Hydrodesulphurization (HDS) process unit to produce low sulphur, low aromatics diesel. Unfortunately, the aromatic sulphur compounds present the most difficult challenges to the HDS processes in both cost and technology wise. The discovery of ionic liquid extraction power has attracted many attentions to do further researches as environmentally solvent to encounter HDS problem. The purpose of this research is to extend the study on desulphurization trending produced by 1-Butyl-3-Methyl-Imidazolium Tiocyanate-[BMIM][SCN] ionic liquid on dibenzothiophene (DBT) in cyclohexane model oil. This experiment is carried out by manipulating various parameters tested on mixture of model oil and ionic liquid. From the result omitted, the most optimum parameters in desulphurization process using [BMIM][SCN] can be determined. This experiment is segregated into 3 different parameters which are mixing time, effect of temperature and the mixing ratio. The samples are then analysed using Gas Chromatography (GC) and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to measure their desulphurization efficiency. All the experiment is repeated using imidazolium and pyridinium based ionic liquid which paired up with different anions to observe their ionic liquid extraction capability. Hypothetically, further studies will be done on the most promising ionic liquid with high extraction ratio to improve chemical and mechanical properties of crude oil products for large scale production and to replace the current desulphurization technology

    This paper aims to describe the use of  Madrasah E-Learning as a modern learning Arabic with an easy and fun application and includes four maharohs. To meet these objectives, researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods. The results are (1) Madrasah E-Learning is a modern Arabic learning that is used online in Distance Learning (2) Madrasah E-Learning provides several main Arabic learning menus such as Class Timeline, Video Conference, Minimum Completeness Criteria, Learning Plans, Teaching Materials, Associated Student Data, Class Attendance, Teacher`s Journal, Computer Based Test (CBT), Knowledge Assessment (KI3), Skill Assessment (KI4), Final Semester Assessment, Report Card Recapitulation, Student Activity Monitoring.     This study aimed to explore the management of the life skills program organized by special high schools at the senior level. The case study approach was carried out by employing observations, interviews, and documentation techniques. The participants involved principal, teachers, graduates, parents, local government, and company. These participants involved themselves in efforts to support actively and their commitment to the success of the management of life skills program. The results indicated that the life skills program was well managed as it successfully delivered graduates to work in the company and be financially independent. The commitment of the school with the company and parents to enhance the independence of graduates with disabilities was through the life skills program to provide them with some valuable skills

    Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasi oleh siswa. Pemecahan masalah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan langkah Polya yaitu memahami masalah, membuat perencanaan pemecahan masalah, menyelesaikan perencanaan pemecahan masalah, dan melihat/mengecek kembali jawaban. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sebaran tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa SMP berdasarkan langkah Polya serta untuk mengetahui kesalahan-kesalahan siswa dalam meyelesaikan soal materi operasi hitung bentuk aljabar. Metode pengumpulan data berupa tes soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini diikuti oleh 28 siswa dengan hasil sebanyak 2 siswa dengan kategori tinggi, 6 siswa dengan kategori sedang, dan 20 siswa dengan kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil jawaban siswa didapat 11 siswa menjawab benar soal nomor 1, sebanyak 2 orang menjawab benar pada soal nomor 2, dan sebanyak 10 siswa menjawab dengan benar soal nomor 3. Kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung bentuk aljabar menurut polya, Siswa kategori tinggi cenderung melakukan kesalahan dalam melihat/mengecek kembali keseluruhan jawaban. Siswa kategori sedang cenderung melakukan kesalahan membuat rencana pemecahan, keterampilan proses, dan dalam melihat/mengecek kembali keseluruhan jawaban. Siswa pada kelompok rendah cenderung melakukan kesalahan memahami masalah, membuat rencana, menyelesaikan rencana pemecahan, dan dalam melihat/mengecek kembali keseluruhan jawaban. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Polya, Operasi Hitung Bentuk Aljabar. Mathematical problem solving ability is one of the abilities that must be mastered by students. Problem solving in this study based on the Polya, is understanding the problem, desiving a plan, carrying out the plan, looking back. This type of research is a qualitative research with a case study design. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of the level of mathematical problem solving ability of junior high school students based on Polya's steps and to find out students' errors in solving arithmetic operations on algebraic. Data collection methods are in the form of problem solving ability tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study were followed by 28 students with the results of 2 students in the high category, 6 students in the medium category, and 20 students in the low category. Based on the results of student answers, 11 students answered correctly to question number 1, as many as 2 people answered correctly to question number 2, and as many as 10 students answered correctly to question number 3. Student errors in solving arithmetic operations on algebraic according to polya, high category students tend to made an error in looking back. Medium category students tend to make mistakes in desiving a plan, carrying out the plan, and looking back. Students in the low group tend to make mistakes in understanding the problems, desiving a plan, carrying out the plan, and loking back. This study aimed to determine paddy farmers perceptions on the role of agricultural extension worker and Gapoktan in Bukit Raya Village, Tenggarong Seberang Subregency, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This study collected primary data and secondary data. Sampling used purposive method and number of samples of 40 respondents. Data were analyzed by descriptive. The results of this study showed farmers perception on the role of field agriculture instructure has a total score of 3,551 and it is classified as good. While farmers perception on the role of Gapoktan has a total score of 1,706 and it is classified as good

    Dewasa ini sering kita jumpai fenomena sosial yang berkembang, yakni kenakalan remaja dalam masyarakat, seperti tawuran massal dan berbagai kasus dekadensi moral lainnya. Bahkan di beberapa kota besar, gejala tersebut telah sampai pada taraf yang meresahkan. Dari hal tersebut maka pentingnya pendidikan karakter untuk diterapkan dalam lembaga pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan penanaman karakter disiplin siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI, mengetahui faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam penanaman karakter disiplin siswa dan mengetahui hasil dari penanaman karakter disiplin siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Cangkuang. Pengintegrasian Pendidikan Karakter dalam mata pelajaran PAI berarti menyatukan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam mata pelajaran tersebut. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang dikembangkan oleh guru Pendidikan Agama Islam salah satunya adalah kedisiplinan. Lembaga pendidikan formal sebagai wadah resmi pembinaan generasi muda diharapkan dapat meningkatkan peranannya dalam membentuk kepribadian siswa salah satunya dengan menanamkan kedisiplinan di sekolah. Penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode field research. Sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif yaitu peneliti berperan sebagai instrumen kunci dan melukiskan suatu keadaan secara objektif atau berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang tampak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket serta dokumentasi. Tempat penelian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Cangkuang yang beralamat di jalan Tenjolaya, Ciluncat, Kecamatan Cangkuang, Kab. Bandung Prov. Jawa Barat, kode pos 40377. Hasil penelitian: (1) Pelaksanaan penanaman karakter disiplin siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI telah disusun dengan baik dan selalu diterapkan oleh guru. Dalam rangka menanamkan karakter disiplin terdapat beberapa cara atau upaya guru diantaranya: sosialisasi dan penegakan aturan, memberikan teladan atau contoh yang baik (uswatun hasanah), pendekatan, pembiasaan, memotivasi siswa, memberi reward dan punishment. (2) Tujuan penanaman karakter disiplin siswa: Membantu anak mengatasi dan mencegah timbulnya problem disiplin, menciptakan suasana lingkungan belajar yang nyaman, siswa belajar hidup dengan kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang baik dan bermanfaat baginya serta lingkungannya. (3) Faktor pendukung dalam penanaman karakter disiplin siswa meliputi: kerjasama dengan para guru dan staf sekolah, adanya ketua kelas, peran aktif orang tua siswa, kesadaran siswa. Faktor penghambat dalam penanaman karakter disiplin siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI di SMP Negeri 1 Cangkuang meliputi: faktor keluarga dan faktor lingkungan. (4) Hasil dari penanaman karakter disiplin siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Cangkuang dapat dinyatakan berhasil pada tingkat baik

    Comparison of Rainfall Forecasting in Simple Moving Average (SMA) and Weighted Moving Average (WMA) Methods (Case Study at Village of Gampong Blang Bintang, Big Aceh District-Sumatera-Indonesia

    The changing climate causes rainfall to vary from period to period. This change has an impact on society, especially in agriculture such as crop failure. This study aims to predict rainfall in 2018 and 2019 with the Simple Moving Average (SMA) method and the Weighted Moving Average (WMA) method. Based on 2004-2018 data, the dry season occurs in February-October and the rainy season in November-January. The level of validation of forecasters in 2018 according to each the SMA method and the WMA method were 43.43% and 40.69%, respectively. Both of these methods are low and reasonable or acceptable. Based on the SMA method, the division of the dry season in 2019 is estimated in February-October while the distribution of the rainy season in the same year is in December-January.
