Fast Simulation of Vehicles with Non-deformable Tracks

This paper presents a novel technique that allows for both computationally fast and sufficiently plausible simulation of vehicles with non-deformable tracks. The method is based on an effect we have called Contact Surface Motion. A comparison with several other methods for simulation of tracked vehicle dynamics is presented with the aim to evaluate methods that are available off-the-shelf or with minimum effort in general-purpose robotics simulators. The proposed method is implemented as a plugin for the open-source physics-based simulator Gazebo using the Open Dynamics Engine.Comment: Submitted to IROS 201

Import 05/08/2014Cílem této bakalářské práce je vytvořit otevřený korpus slov, na kterém bude postavena webová hra, jež umožňuje hráčům hádat slovní tvary. Práce dále obsahuje popis pro- blematiky morfologie a srovnání několika různých morfologických nástrojů a algoritmů. Pro korpus slov a webovou hru byl zvolen anglický jazyk - zejména pro svou rozšířenost a dobrou dostupnost morfologických nástrojů. Hlavní část tvoří popis analýzy a tvorby aplikace samotné. Aplikace je řešena ligovým způsobem, kdy jsou hráči hodnoceni sys- témem Elo ranků. V implementované hře hráči hádají kořeny anglických slov.The aim of this work is to create an open corpus of words, on which will be built Web game that allows players to guess the word forms. The work also includes a description of the morphology problematics and comparison of several different morphological tools and algorithms. For the corpus of words and web game has been chosen english language especially for its widespread use and good morphological tools. The main part consists from description of the analysis and creation the application itself. The application is made like league where players are evaluated with system of Elo ranks. Dokumenty stanovují urbanistické, architektonické a stavebně technické řešení, popis konstrukcí a požadovaných informací o stavbě, výkresy pro provádění. Úkolem bakalářská práce je řešení projektové dokumentace pro provedení stavby na téma rodinný dům s provozovnou. Výkresová dokumentace byla zrealizována v programu AutoCAD. Stavba je určena k celoročnímu bydlení. Objekt je nepodsklepený se dvěma nadzemními podlaží. Provozovna bude využívána jako specializovaná prodejna jízdních kol. Objekt je ze systému Porotherm, zastřešen pultovou střechou a plochou střechou.The main objective is making the project according to technical standards, laws, technical regulations for building construction. Documents provide for urban, architectural and engineering solutions, design and description of the required information about the construction, plans for implementation. The task of the thesis project documentation solution for building construction on a house with a family establishment. The drawings were executed in AutoCAD. The building is designed homes. The building's basement with two floors. Premises will be used as a specialized bike shop. The building is from the system Porotherm, covered with a shed roof and flat roof.

High speed steel milling cutters made by powder matallurgy

Bakalářská práce je rešerší zabývající se frézami z rychlořezných ocelí vyrobenými pomocí práškové metalurgie (HSS PM frézy). První až třetí kapitola se obecně věnuje frézování, rychlořezným ocelím a práškové metalurgii. Ve čtvrté kapitole jsou zpracovány konkrétní HSS PM frézy od několika výrobců. Přehled obsahuje mechanické vlastnosti fréz a jejich možné použití. Je zaměřen na dominantní typ HSS PM fréz, což jsou frézy stopkové.Bachelor thesis is a research work describing milling cutters made of high speed steel by powder metallurgy (HSS PM milling cutters). In chapters one, two and three are generally described milling, high speed steels and powder metallurgy. In chapter four are introduced particular HSS PM milling cutters of a few producers. The summary contains mechanical properties of cutters and suitability for machining. It is focused on main type of HSS PM cutters, which are the end mills.

Dictation System - User Interface

Pod pojmem diktovací systém chápeme software, který se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí. První částí je rozpoznávač pro rozpoznávání mluveného slova, druhou částí je uživatelské rozhraní pro interakci s uživatelem a zpracování výstupu rozpoznávače. Tato práce se zaměřuje na uživatelské rozhraní diktovacího systému, popis komunikace mezi rozpoznávačem a uživatelským rozhraním, opravou slov přicházejících od rozpoznávače a převodem čísel ze slovní podoby na číselnou.The term dictation system we understand the software system, which consists of two main parts. The first part is recognizer spoken word, the second is the user interface for user interaction and processing output recognizer. This work focuses on the user interface dictation system, a description of comunication between the recognizer and the user interface, the correction of words coming from the recognizer and transfer numbers from verbal to numerical form.

How Big Is the Prize Money Gap? - Analysis of Prize Money in 2016 Grand Slam Tournaments

Since 2007 all Grand Slam tournaments have offered equal prize money for male and female tennis players. Although men and women are paid equally in Grand Slams they still play a different number of best-of sets – men play best-of-five set matches while women play best-of-three set matches. Those two competing circumstances created a financial gap in prize money paid to women and men for the unit of effort in a tennis play – for a game. The present paper estimates this financial gap for 2016 Grand Slam tournaments. Moreover, it demonstrates the nominal magnitude of this gap and its effect on year-to-year increasing prize money that are paid to winners. The results showed that women on average obtained 60% more prize money for a game played than men in all four 2016 Grand Slams

The paper focuses on the analysis of the relationship between the financial literacy and the risk management in banks. To increase the financial literacy is the interest not only for government organizations, notably the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, but also for banks. Increasing of the financial literacy will be reflected in improving of the portfolio on the one hand and on the other hand there can be expected lower profit.Příspěvek je zaměřen na analýzu mezi vztahem finanční gramotnosti a řízením rizika v bankách. Na zvyšování finanční gramotnosti mají zájem nejen státní organizace, zejména Ministerstvo financí ČR a Ministerstvo práce a sociálních věci ČR, ale také banky. The effect of physical properties of building materials in buildings in low-energy construction

Předmětem diplomové práce je studium projevů fyzikálních vlastností různých staviv v budovách v nízkoenergetickém stavitelství. Práce je zaměřena především na vliv tepelně akumulačních vlastností stavebních materiálů užívaných v budovách za účelem dosažení nízké potřeby energie na vytápění. V práci jsou porovnávány energetické charakteristiky u pěti různých konstrukčně materiálových variant domu.The theme of the diploma thesis is the study of physical properties of various building materials in buildings in low-energy construction. The work is mainly focused on the influence of the thermal accumulation properties of building materials used in buildings in order to achieve low energy consumption for heating. The thesis compares the energy characteristics of five different constructional material variants of the house.
