    Research on the productivity of employees working in the Department of Populationand Civil Registration of Tabanan Regency is based on the promise that publicorganizations today must run a really professional job functions as well as increasedefforts to public service more accountable and transparent. The most fundamentalissue related to human resources in the public sector is the low level of employees’productivity so there is an impression that the public sector is currently seem morelikely to be served rather than serving. This study uses a quantitative approach totest the relationship between the variables studied, where the specifics of this studyexamined the relationship of intrinsic and extrinsic work motivation with theproductivity of employees working in the Department of Population and CivilRegistration of Tabanan Regency. Number of employees used as sample in this studywas 50 employees, who all served in the Department of Population and CivilRegistration of Tabanan Regency. The sampling technique is done by using arandom sampling technique. The results showed that the productivity of employeesin the Department of Population and Civil strongly related to intrinsic job motivationand extrinsic work motivation. To improve the level of employee discipline, effortsto increase employee motivation and productivity seems very important to do.Judging from the increase in work motivation aimed at productivity levels ofemployees in achieving organizational performance. In terms of motivation, theawards system for employee’s job performance is also very important to note. Theseefforts need to be done as soon as possible so that the productivity of employeesworking in the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Tabanan Regencycan be improved, which is of course in the end it will be able to give a positiveimpact in terms of improving organizational performance

    Permasalahan (GAP): Penelitian berfokus pada bagaimana peranan badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan politik berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada yaitu rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat akan politik, kurangnya partisipasi yang baik dari masyarakat terkait kegiatan politik,Keikutsertaan atau partisipasi politik merupakan bagian terpenting dalam hidup bernegara dan wujud dari demokrasi. Akan tetapi partisipasi dari generasi muda masih kurang Melalui Peraturan Walikota No.85 Tahun 2013 tentang tugas pokok serta fungsi Badan Kesatuan bangsa dan Politik mengatur tentang pemberian pendidikan politik yang berguna untuk memberi pemahaman politik agar terjadi partisipasi yang aktif dan masif dari generasi muda Tujuan: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peranan Kesbangpol dalam meningkatkan partisipasi generasi muda dalam hal politik serta mengetahui faktor apa saja yang menghambat Kesbangpol dalam melakukan peningkatan partisipasi pemuda. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan dari apa yang diperoleh di lapangan. Peneliti menemukan fakta bahwa terdapat beberapa hambatan dalam upaya peningkatan partisipasi generasi muda yakni adanya perubahan struktur organisasi, kurang jelasnya bentuk lembaga, keterbatasan dana dan pola pikir generasi muda Hasil/Temuan: Peneliti menemukan bahwa terdapat upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi hambatan yakni pelaksanaan tugas sesuai aturan dan koridor, menerapkan skala prioritas dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan serta melakukan pendidikan politik pada generasi muda secara masif. Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian menunjukan peran kesbangpol dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik pemuda secara keseluruhan sudah berjalan dengan baik

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tumbuhan langka yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan upacara Yadnya umat Hindu di Kota Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam serta studi dokumen terhadap sarathi banten, tokoh agama dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis-jenis tanaman upakara yang sudah masuk dalam kategori langka adalah: tanaman jenis daun sejumlah 10 jenis, tanaman jenis rumput 4 jenis, tanaman jenis bunga 6 jenis, tanaman jenis buah 8 jenis, tanaman jenis kayu-kayuan/batang 4 jenis. Upaya konservasi tanaman langka upacara mendesak dilakukan oleh masyarakat Hindu di Mataram di antaranya dengan melakukan pembibitan dan penanaman kembali yang memanfaatkan areal pekarangan dan pura. Komunikasi yang intensif diperlukan untuk pewarisan pengetahuan tanaman upacara dengan melibatkan komunitas dan tokoh agama dan masyarakat Hindu untuk mendorong konservasi yang berkelanjutan terutama untuk generasi muda yang telah terpapar instanisasi dan pragmatisme dalam beragama

    This qualitative descriptive study aims to describe and analysis (1) supra structure (2) micro structure and (3 macro structure of the result of training essay writing essay middle school level at Rendang district in 2011. Subject of this study is a collection of essays on the results of training high school essay writing at Rendang district in 2011. Data collection method used is the method of recording the document. Data were analyzed with descriptive and qualitative analysis. The results of this study were (1) the structure of the essay consists of discourse supra 1) introduction, 2) a thesis sentence, 3) or body content, and 4) cover, (2) micro structures, consisting of 1) background, 2) modality, 3) details, 4) active and passive voice sentences, 5) marker cohesion and coherence, 6) the use of pronouns, 7) use of graphics, and 8) metaphor; 3) the macro-structure of discourse essay is 1) character education, 2) youth oath, 3) global warming 4) the use of Indonesian, 5) virtual world, 6) Bali clean and green, 7) Bali clean and beautiful, and 8) free education. In accordance with these findings suggested to the teachers and students to use this research to improve the quality of writing skills. Language Education Program students are advised to use the results of this study into consideration research with similar studies

    This research aims at investigating the effect of cooperative learning model type STAD on Civics learning achievement seen from achievement motivation of fourth grade primary school students in cluster I Kuta, Badung Regency. The population of this research was fourth grade primary school students in cluster I Kuta, Badung in the academic year 2012/2013 while the subject of the research involved 150 students which were chosen randomly. The data of learning achievement were taken using a test, while the data of achievement motivation were taken using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA and Tukey test. The result of the research shows that: (1) there is a significant difference of civics learning achievement between students following cooperative learning model type STAD and those following conventional learning, (2) there is a significant interactional effect between learning model and achievement motivation on civics learning achievement, (3) for students having high achievement motivation, there is a significant difference of civics learning achievement between students following cooperative learning model type STAD and those following conventional learning, (4) for students having low achievement motivation, there is a significant difference of civics learning achievement between students following cooperative learning model type STAD and those following conventional learning

    Profil kemampuan asertif pada usia pra sekolah

    Assertive behavior is one of social-emotional skill for young children. This research aims to describe assertive profile in preschool children. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to data obtained through observing the behavior of children during the activities in school, besides that interviews were also conducted to teachers and parents to obtain data about assertive behavior shown by children. The study was conducted on children aged 3 to 6 years and sixty children. The selection of research subjects used purposive sampling with the subject criteria being children who attended education in early childhood institutions with an age range of 4-6 years. The results showed that assertive behavior shown by children included the ability to express ideas, desires, and feelings, the ability to defend themselves, the ability to not be easily affected, and the ability to accept opinions from others. The findings indicate that at each stage of the age the intensity of the behavior is different. Based on the findings it needs to be explored more deeply about the factors that influence assertive behavior in early childhood

    Kemasan produk (packaging) merupakan material yang membungkus untuk melindungi suatu produk. Fungsi utama kemasan adalah untuk melindungi produk agar kualitas produk tetap baik dan memudahkan konsumen ketika membawa produk tersebut. Penggunaan packaging dapat meningkatkan umur simpan serta melindungi produk dari berbagai kerusakan. Dalam menentukan sebuah kemasan terhadap suatu produk terdapat proses yang harus dilalui yaitu penentuan tujuan pembuatan desain kemasan, pemikiran konsep kemasan yang diinginkan, lalu dilanjutkan dengan pengolahan grafis seperti logo pada kemasan. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya kemasan terhadap suatu produk kepada masyarakat Desa Selat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah edukasi tentang packaging senat senut pisang nugget. Kesimpulan dengan dilakukannya pengabdian ini warga desa telah dibekali pemahaman mengenai pentingnya kemasan untuk produk dan perencanaan desain kemasan produk

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran bermakna melalui Lesson Study di sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Percobaan 2 Malang dan SDN Ngaglik 1 Kota Batu pada siswa kelas 6. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest dan analisis data dengan menggunakan uji beda (t test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Lesson Study di SDN Percobaan 2 Malang kurang efektif dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena ada faktor lain yang mungkin mempengaruhi keefektifan pelaksanaan Lesson Study, seperti kemampuan awal siswa yang sudah tinggi, sedangkan pelaksanaan Lesson Study di SDN Ngaglik 1 Batu efektif dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Sementara itu, rata-rata nilai postest antara SDN Percobaan 2 Malang dan SDN Ngaglik 1 Batu adalah sama, maka hasil belajar dengan pembelajaran Lesson Study cenderung sama pada dua sekolah tersebut

    Purpose: This study is to determine the current development of sacred Lembu Putih (White Cow) tourist attraction as well as the strategy for developing such a tourist attraction as a sustainable tourism. Research methods: The data collection used is participatory observation, structured interviews, documentary study, and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is the mix methods. Results and discussion: Internal factors that influence the development of white bull tourist attraction as Sustainable Tourism are attractions, facilities, accessibility, human resources and prices, while external factors are political factors, economic factors, social factors, technological factors. Implication: A priority tourist attraction development strategy is obtained, namely expanding networks, promoting, and maintaining cooperation with the government and the private sector to support improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure

    Abstrak: Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan open ended play untuk meningkatkan kompetensi abad 21 pada anak usia 4-6 tahun. Fakta menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru mengarah pada capaian perkembangan lower order thinking skills sehingga kurang mendukung tercapainya kompetensi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendalaman materi, workshop, peer review, uji coba lapangan dan finalisasi permainan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan tingkat partisipasi, keaktivan dan kemampuan mengembangkan open ended play tergolong sangat tinggi. Hal ini dapat dicapai karena sebagian besar peserta menganggap kegiatan ini sangat sesuai, menarik dan menantang untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. Abstract: The purpose of this training is to improve the understanding and skills of teachers in developing open ended play to improve 21st century competence in children aged 4-6 years. The facts show that the learning carried out by the teacher leads to the achievement of the lower order thinking skills development so that it does not support the achievement of these competencies. The methods used include deepening the material, workshops, peer reviews, field trials and finalization of the game. The results of the training show that the level of participation, activity and ability to develop open ended play is very high. This was achieved because most of the participants considered this activity very appropriate, interesting and challenging to implement in learning
